Love this mower
il y a 4 ans
I have used this mower twice now and really like it. It is much lighter than any other mower I have used, and I love not having to pull a string multiple times hoping it will start. It starts right up and has cut everything well so far. Are used the eco-mode the first time not knowing how long the batteries would last, and then used the turbo mode the second time and the batteries lasted fine both times. I do not have a large yard, so I don’t know how long it would last if I had a bigger one. But I am extremely happy with this purchase.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We are excited to hear you are enjoying the Lawn Mower! Thank you for choosing WORX. You are greatly appreciated!

Small but effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A fun machine that gets the job done - not big and flashy. I get a few raised eyebrows - neighbors trying to figure out how I'm cutting the grass with a Fisher Price toy LOL
Pros:
- Light and relatively easy to maneuver.
- Does the job. Lawn looks great.
- Leaf bag has very clear indicator on when to change it.
- Mower has very clear indicator for current battery life.
- Machine is small. Great if you have limited storage space.
Cons:
- Limited battery life (Fine for small lawn or duplex).
- "Feels" low quality (assembling this felt like putting together one of my kid's toys at Christmas).
- Narrow 14" cutting width means more passes. Known trade-off for a lighter machine.
Tips:
- use ECO setting for max battery life.
Thank you for sharing your experience and review! That is awesome ! We greatly appreciate your honest feedback as it gives us a better understanding of where we need to improve. However , we are thrilled to hear you are enjoying the WORX 2x20 volt 4.0AH Lawn mower ! Thank you for choosing WORX!

Another great product, worth every penny

Just got it and couldn't wait to use it. Got it together pretty easily, batteries charged pretty quick. so off I went, I have decorative fencing on both sides of my side walk since mail carriers cannot use sidewalk. Was great to just pick up lawnmower and carry over to other side of sidewalk to cut yard without taking fencing down. I love it. Batteries barely lastest but that is probably my fault being very fussy. Got front and back yard done. The juice left in each battery was able to weed whack few areas as well . Runs so quiet, no loud sonds of real gas lawnmower. Especially saving my shoulder from cranking being in my 50's. Now owning 7 worx cordless lawn tools and already lining up a few more since the ability to share batteries is so FANTASTIC.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the mower because I was tired of dragging a electric cord around and taking a chance on running it over. After charging the batteries I mowed my yard, then my neighbors yard and it still had a charge in it. The mulch feature works great and it didn't even need emptied when I was finished. Easy to store and not too heave at all. The safety handles were easy on my hands and it took less time to mow the 2 yards that it did before. Great product and not noisy at all. I was able to listen to music while using the mower.
We live on a 36-square mile ranch in Wyoming. Now, this puppy won't do 36-square miles of grass, but it will do the tall grasses around the house just fine. The 14" cutting width is great for cutting in around the garden and trees and the very light weight makes it easy move about. On Turbo mode for the initial cut (the grasses were about two feet tall), we would get between 20 and 30 minutes on the charge. That's just the right amount of time to take a break from the heat and do other chores while the batteries recharge.
For our needs, this mower is a perfect balance of weight, cutting swath, and run-time. I was so impressed with the quality and 20V Li-Ion battery interchangeability concept, I bought a Worx cordless drill and gave away the old Kawasaki drill.
I bought this a month ago, and I love the features on it such as the dual battery 20v that goes with all my other worx equipment. This mower met my needs of what I was looking for except the grass bag, I wish it could hold as much grass as at least half the battery life. I have a small backyard in the city about 600sqft. And I had to dump the bag 4 times, and my yard was not over grown. I do love this lawnmower along with the other products I own and really love how the batteries are interchangeable with one another.
I bought this mower about 2 weeks ago and admittedly, I didn't think much of it when I first opened its box. This is my first mower as I've always used hand-me-downs, but I wanted something completely cordless. While I was putting it together, I thought it wouldn't be able to get the job done because it was so small and light - it felt like a child's toy - hey dad, I'll come "mow" with you while you do the real work. However, after I charged the batteries and used it, the fact that it is small and light changed my mind. It is extremely easy to maneuver and it has no problems cutting through anything. A portion of my yard is at a slant, so the lightweight feature has made yard work much easier. For my needs, this mower is excellent and I would highly recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK.... finally ready to give this a review after using it for about 7 weeks now..........
First machine received - only 3 wheels touched the ground... sent it back for a replacement. Second machine received - front wheel fell apart during first mowing. Third machine received - has been working great! I bought it to mow over at my parents house as they have a small yard and this machine is perfect for the job! Most cuttings I've been able to get the job completely without having to re-charge the batteries, does a great job cutting, love how it mulches, very quiet, extremely easy to use/light weight and makes my conventional machine seem so much heavier now when I use it! lol. I'm very pleased with it so far. Just hope it holds being so lightweight and plastic.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this mower because of it being only 14" wide. We were looking for something to use in a small cemetery that could go between the grave markers that were close together for our riding mower. (all together we have about 200 markers to mow around). It works GREAT and saves a lot of weed eating time. When I'm done there is about 1/4 of the battery life left. We also have two 20V cordless WORX weed eaters that we use in the cemetery that we are very pleased with. All three units are light and easy to use.
I just want to start this off by saying that I love my new mower! It’s lightweight enough for me and so much quieter than a gas-powered mower! I’m really disappointed in the 2 batteries though! I read that I should get around 4 hours out of them and mine keeps dying after 45 minutes!! I have it set to ECO, not Turbo, so I don’t understand why it’s stopping so soon! I just knew that I would give out way before the batteries but that’s not the case! Very frustrating when it takes me 3 days to mow one lot!!!
We are sending our older mower to our daughter’s house, so we got this mower for ourselves. Initially, we were disappointed that the newer version uses two batteries which are not interchangeable with the older mower. But after charging the battery and trying it out, we found the newer version to perform better than the old. The mulching feature works so well that we probably won’t bag grass very often. As always, we are quite pleased with Worx, and we look forward to adding to our collection of tools.
Works great, cuts great, very light and easy 2 use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. I love the mower. It’ cuts great. It’s very easy to push. It’s very light. My yard has some contours that would cause my gas mower to scalp certain spots. This mower does not do that. So far batteries work just fine and hold their charge enough to do half my yard. So I do the front or the back first then recharge the batteries and finish the job the following day or so. I never expected to do my whole yard on single charge so I’m happy with how the batteries perform. Great little mower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small garden and medium side yard at home. With this lawn mower I have been able to cut the grass easily and fast. The best part is I don't have to be filling the tank with gasoline because it uses two batteries. I have to tell you the first time I used it I ran out of the full first charge because the grass was very tall and I had to use max power, but since then I have been able to cut the grass with one charge or less. I also love the lightness of the tool and that I can store it easily.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for a month or so and it meets my needs perfectly. I only have 600 sq/ft of lawn, so I need a light, manoeverable mower and I wanted to get rid of my polluting gas mower. This thing does the job, cuts the grass (even when it grows long) and zips around the lawn and makes tight turns. I can even quickly pick it up and do the other side of a fence - try doing that with a heavy gas mower. It is quiet for the neighbors and cuts well - I keep my grass at between 2 and 3 inches.
Easy to assembly, very lightweight, and love that you don’t have to deal with gas or oil! I have a smaller yard but I still wish I would have gone with the 17” as I find this 14” just isn’t very wide for doing multiple passes. Still happy with purchase and battery charge lasts a long time using Economy. I’ve found having the height too low and using Turbo setting will cause it to time out, using a higher height setting with Economy it runs perfectly. Overall happy with the ease of use with this.
I bought this in October of 2020. 6 months later the unit did not run at all even with batteries in good order and charged. The mower's power indicator was unevenly lit with some light half lit and others off and the next one on ...very weird. I returned it and got a new one. I hosed the bottom by the blade after a few uses and immediately it did the same thing and would only run for about 1 - 2 seconds. I returned it (2nd one in 1 year) and got a third. On the FIRST day of use a little rain fell on it and when I tried to start it after the rain (batteries and battery compartment were perfectly dry) it wouldn't start! Besides this bizarre behaviour, I liked using it and it looks cool and is light. Batteries last long enough for at least 30 min. but most often longer if not in turbo mode.

Better than expected!
il y a 2 ans
Just mowed my yard with my new mower. More power than I expected. I was looking for a place online where I could ask a simple question and found no way to contact anyone. There is a mention of Eco-mode being dialed in, and running it in this mode for easy flat surfaces to conserve battery power. There is no mention of how to do that in the manual or description or on the unit. Am I to assume this is an automatic feature of Intellicut and the operator has no choice in how to run it?
I’ve used it once so far. Cut my entire front yard on one charge. My front yard was full of wild flowers and I had let it grow quite high as I did not want to mow them down; much to the chagrin of my neighbors. Made for a heavy duty mowing job which the mower handled with ease. It’s light and easy to maneuver, unlike my previous electric mower. I had it going non stop for an hour it seemed. I folds up nicely in a corner of my garage till the next mow day. I am pleased with my purchase.
I had the old 24 volt version for a number of years and loved it. It was quiet, effective - even for mulching, and light. I got one for my daughter, bragged about it often and recommended it to anyone who would listen. Finding the 24 volt batteries harder and harder to get, and expecting an improvement I got the new 2 X 20v version last summer. This is my second season with it and I am disappointed. Its noisier, it feels "flimsier", I have to use Turbo mode to get the same effectiveness as the old one - which makes it even noisier, and reduces the "range" to less than I got with the old one. The one improvement I see is the one lever height control but I'll only use that twice a year. So..yes, its still a good mower but not as good as the one I replaced with it and I wish I had kept the old one.

Not a good replacement
il y a 2 ans
I purchased this to replace the WG787 That we have had for 13 years. It did not need to be replaced if the part for the blade was still available. However, since you have discontinued that model, we had to buy a new mower. Since we have had excellent use from the WG787 we thought this would be a good option. WRONG It is too light and cannot handle even minimal uneven grass. It is also Cheaply constructed. This has been a great disappointment. We would like to return it ASAP

Great mulcher
il y a 3 ans
I am only impressed with the mulching and light weight of the 40V 14" cordless mower. If I set the cutting deck for the height of cut I usually use (and have for 20 yrs), the mower won't handle it. I have to raise the deck and mow more often which defeats the purpose. I end up using my cordless edger/trimmer for those areas needing it. Then I end up using my other battery powered or gar powered mower. I may just sell it to someone who has a perfectly flat, golf course type lawn.

Despite the steep price, cheap product
il y a 3 ans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a lawn that can be mowed within 6 minutes, then maybe this is the right mower for you. Our batteries dependably die (it's a brand new mower) exactly after 6 minutes. Also, the handle allegedly can be adjusted, but as we received a bent handle it's impossible to adjust it for height, which makes mowing only comfortable for those 6' tall. It's nice and light, but since it seems to be made from cheap plastic, it will be only a matter of time until it starts breaking apart.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your honest feedback. This mower is designed to cut up to 5,000 square feet on one charge. Please ensure that the batteries have been fully charged before first use. The handle height on this mower can not be adjusted and only has the capability to have the handles folded for more compact storage. Some parts of your WORX mower are composed of high-quality, durable ABS plastic. Keep in mind your WORX mower is covered by a warranty as well. Please never hesitate to contact us directly with any questions or concerns. We can be reached at 1-866-354-9679 Monday - Friday 9 am to 6 pm EST!

Great Little Mower!
il y a 3 ans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a senior with advance osteo arthritis so it's had for me to mow the grass in my small yard. I had an electric mower that I used for years but even that was too hard for me, especially with the cord. I decided to order this mower since it was battery operated and a WORKX (I have several other tools that are WORKX battery operated, so I knew this was a good brand.) I got the mower a few days after ordering and had to assemble some parts that were very easy to assemble. Tried it out, thinking it might be hard for me to push but was I wrong! This mower was So easy for me to operate and I'm thrilled that I ordered it! Gave my eclectic mower to my granddaughter who needed a mower, she was very happy I did. I just want to say in closing that I would definitely recommend this mower, it works Great!!!
I bought this a few weeks ago. I have 2 acres and maintain with a tractor but the lawn portion around the house is a small area and the tractor tears grass. This is perfect beautiful cut Battery last ample time. I have a small area around a pond and it mowed it as well and the mower was light enough to pick up and put on cart to transport. The best part is no gas no clogged carburetor. Just plug in Battery and GO! only downside was one of the wing bolts didn't tighten all the way.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! We are excited to hear you are enjoying the lawnmower! Thank you for choosing WORX. You are greatly appreciated!

Worx Pretty Good
il y a 2 ans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a new mower and having previous history with a Worx Trimmer/Edger I decided to give this a try. Right out of the box I was pleasantly surprised with the design, features, and how light it was. I must admit I was concerned that it would take hours to complete my yard given this was not a gas-powered mower, especially after it died halfway thru my initial use. I recharged the batteries and was able to complete my first cut, I do need to tell you my grass was pretty tall at the time. The following cuttings, twice so far, I have been able to cut my yard on a single charge using ECO.
I am happy with this purchase, would recommend it, and have since added a new trimmer to my wishlist (mine was damaged in a hurricane).
Now all I need to do is hand this over to the kids and I can supervise!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my battery operated mower. I have a approximately 2800 sq feet of lawn and I was able to mow my entire lawns and still had battery. The mower is easy to assemble. The height adjustment is slightly hard to move, but I don't plan to be moving the height a lot. Now I'm helping the air quality...at least for me. I dont inhale gas fumes as I walk behind the mower. I also like the fact that I don't have a gallon of gas or mower oil leaks. Yeah!

Best Decision
il y a un an
I bought this mower after reading reviews and doing research. I have used it a couple of times and it has exceeded my expectations. It is SO light weight and easy to maneuver, quiet and I'm beyond impressed. I'm still trying to figure out why the battery runs out if I take a break. I take the key out and batteries and still have to recharge for my task. It does not take away (yet) from my overall. I'm a 73 year old woman, and very happy with my purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband laughed at me when he saw the mower because it only has a 13" cut. I'm 75 with back problems. This mower is light weight, easy to handle and moves smoothly. It may take me a little longer than a big mower to do my lawn, but that's just all the more exercise I get! I hate the gym, so this is perfect. Front yard one day; side and side back one day; and other side and side back 3rd day.. 3 days of great exercise. Love it, love it, love it!!!
I bought this about a month ago and I am so thankful I did! I love the power and the cordless feature, ease of use and great results! I previously owned a Worx cordless mower and when it finally quit on me after about 10 years, I knew I needed another Worx mower! I am able to mow both of my lawn areas on a single charge! Slowly converting all of my tools to Worx brand and recommend the products to everyone I talk to! Won't ever buy another brand!
