I purchased online as I lack the transportation to buy from a brick and mortar retailer. First of all it looks like a toy (imagine a cutting radius the size of a sheet of printer paper). It works but it takes three times longer to mow my lawn. I exhaust 2 batteries on the front and 2 more on the backyard (I have batteries from other WORX purchases). I would return it but (still) lack the ability to take to a UPS pickup location.
I have 4 other WORX products and have never been disappointed. I like the concept and ease of use...….I should have paid more attention to the cutting radius/size of the machine.

Wish I could give it 5 stars, but I can't!

It is not the lawn mowers fault. It is so light it feels like a toy lawn mower. I think maybe my yard is too big for it and the lawn is not huge. I have used it three times and I like that it mulches the grass to some extent but none of the grass goes into the grass catcher. It leaves the clippings in long rows and I either have to rake it up or go over the rows two times.
We recently had a lot of rain for Nevada and the grass was really thick. I had to use my old mower. I did let the grass dry out before mowing. I think my option is to mow it twice a week. I wish I thought it was the best mower ever!

Best mower EVER

I bought my Worx electric lawn mower August 7, 2021. Because it's rained so much I have used it several times and I have to say I heart this machine. I fell in love with it the first time I used it. Every time I use it I love it even more. I am new to electric mowers and I have to admit not worrying about gas and oil spills is great. This mower is so quiet I almost can't tell it's running. It is so light and easy to handle. I am a 60 year old disabled woman and mowing has NEVER been so easy.
The only thing I have to say negative isn't about the mower it's about me...I don't know what took me so long to get one in the first place. I honestly wish I had bought it years ago.

So light and easy to move!

We bought the mower for several reasons...no need for the gas can and keeping it full; no starter cord to pull, as our gas mower was becoming more difficult and never started on the first try; it takes up less storage and can easily hang on the wall; it is lighter than our Hoover sweeper; it is less vibration in your arms; it easily maneuvers around flower gardens and trees! We love the convenience of the lever to change the cutting height, and easy access to the batteries; the mulcher is so fine that bagging is not necessary. It is quieter than conventional mowers and you can mow with one hand! We love it!

Perfect tool!

I have been using Worxs tools for 15 years now but just recently trying the electric mower and am not disappointed. The weight, power and efficiency is just as advertised. I love that the power is increased only when needed in heavier grass which probably saves on battery use! My first cut with this mower was with overgrown yard and I was able to almost complete front , back and both side with out a battery change but I was ready with extra replacement batteries that where discounted with my purchase. My next cut I did not need a battery change. This is perfect for my needs and ability to use. Thank you Worxs for building tools and products that I can depend on and trust in their quality

Excellent mulching mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this mower after cutting down some trees and adding sod to our front yard because we are moving soon. We didn't want a gas mower because we prefer not to use gas powered yard tools and this mower seemed to fit the bill. It was delivered in just a few days and my hubby was mowing the grass by the next morning. The lithium batteries are great and we were very surprised that with the mulching and intellicut features that there was almost no grass clippings in the bag. I would give this mower 10 stars if possible! It is well worth the price and very easy to store on a shelf in our garage.

One week old lawnmowr died after one hour of use

Purchased the WG743 cordless lawnmower last week. I fully recharged the batteries as required since it was a new lawnmower, never been used before. After one hour of use, the lawnmower stopped working. I recharged the batteries believing they were drained. After fully recharging the batteries, I re-inserted them back into the machine, I inserted the safety key and pushed it to the right as indicated, pulled the bail handle up but the lawnmower did not start. I checked both batteries, both were fully charged. I then noticed the battery power indicator lights on the lawnmower are not illuminated when I press the orange button and the fully charged batteries are inserted into the machine.

Lightweight with great features

I bought it for my husband because he has a few of the Worx tools and I think I am in contention for wife of the year. He had no trouble putting it together and told me that it is the perfect size for our yard. He loves that it mulches and told me that this mower is incredibly lightweight for the power it has. He can lift it with one hand! He also loves the fact that it has a switch start instead of a pull string as he has a bad shoulder. His only complaint is that to break it down for storage, you have to unscrew 4 handles; he feels that pull bolts would be easier to deal with.

Really wanted to like this but disappointed

I bought this in the summer of 2019 and really wanted to like this mower, but it has underwhelmed almost from the first use. I have a small yard, quite small in fact, and this mower, based on the specs, should be able to handle the yard on a single charge with no problem. But I regularly needed a 2nd charge of batteries to finish the job. Running in ECO mode. The mower is not even 8 months old yet.
The cut deck is quite small, but I knew that what I bought it. It would be less of a problem if the blades cut the grass on a first pass, but I often have to recut areas because the blades won't cut all the grass on the first pass.
Good idea, but not quite there yet in terms of power or reliability.

Great Power

I didn't know if this mower would have enough power to really cut the grass evenly and even when it's a little long. I've never used a battery operated mower before and I was pleasantly surprised. We have a very small front lawn that is slightly on a hill and it worked perfectly. I was able to mow our lawn 3 times before I needed to charge the batteries. The grass grows fast after fertilizing and it was able to cut the taller grass. The catcher isn't very big so I had to dump it a couple of times but overall it's great. Planning on teaching the 10 year old how to mow this summer.

Ten years ago I entered to win one of ten 14" battery operated Worx lawnmowers. Who would have guessed I would be one honored to relieve one on Mario Lopez' evening TV show.
My favorite features of my battery operated and electric mowers is the adjusted grass settings.. easy maneuvering, and no gas emissions on either mower as I'm asthmatic and could not cut the lawn before WORX! I've purchase several products since and all have been reliable..easy to operate and long-lasting. One suggestion would be to make the handle with an extra adjustment for those NOT tall.. I'm 4'10..

So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used a couple of times and so far so good. I have a backyard that’s divided into two fairly small yards and this worked perfectly. I don’t think it even used one bar of charge. I’ve had a Gardner for years come every other week to do the front and back yards but we recently adopted a new
dog and trying to remember to have the poo picked up and gate unlocked to do a small back yard was a pain so I figured to just do the backyard myself. This mower fits the bill perfectly and best of all it’s folds down and fits onto a shelf in my garage and takes up no space. So far I love it!

I'll start with the biggest cons and then go from there:
Biggest Issue: The batteries get hot from continual use and shut-down early + you cannot charge them when they are hot so it increases down time.
Another issue: The eco mode often isn't powerful enough so you need to use turbo often. This shortens run time quite a bit. I have an average sized lot, and need 2 x 4Ah and 2 x 2Ah to get the yard done.
Pros: Lightweight, easy to push, relatively quiet, nice cutting, nice mulching , bag and ejection works well, comfortable handle angle , easy to build and operate. The duel charge is fairly fast and has great safety feature such as overcharge protection, hot battery protection and battery repair.

Perfect For My Needs

Bought his mower/trimmer a month ago to supplement my string trimmer. My primary mower is a riding mower and I needed something to clean-up areas inaccessible by my rider. This little mower is perfect. I would not recommend it as a primary means of cutting a yard larger than the size of a patio. The batteries provided with the mower are sufficient for up to 2 hours of use. It is powerful enough to cut/mulch thick, dry grass up to 5 inches high (max height of my grass). It folds up for easy storage underneath my work bench. I would recommend this product for limited. light duty use.

If you had a hard time pushing a mower, tired of running out of gas, having no where to store a big bulky mower honestly this mower is for you. I used to HATE cutting the grass and now I don’t mind it at all. I’m not even sore afterwards! I have a bad back and carpal tunnel in my hands and afterwards I feel perfectly great. I will say 1 thing I would have gotten a bigger deck but it just takes me a bit longer to mow. I am glad I have an extra set of batteries though. I live in Pa and we get rain rain and more rain so sometimes the grass gets a bit higher than what I would like. I love my mower and I’m the long run I am saving so much not having to buy gas. All I can say is get one you’ll honestly love it.

Should Have Done This Sooner...

I've been wanting a cordless electric mower for some time now but the price always scared me off the idea. I've got a very small yard and could not justify the expense. I spotted the Worx online and found the price to be a lot more reasonable. I already owned a Worx trimmer and have been very satisfied with it so I didn't hesitate and ordered it. I've had it for a few weeks now and have managed to get 4 mows out of 1 charge and very pleased with the results. It's a pleasure to run it back and forth without having to stop and flip a long extension cord around and shaves about 10 minutes off my cutting time. It's lightweight and perfect for my little 'postage stamp' size yard. Should have done this sooner...

Makes the cut

Mower came very quickly assembly was easy. Being almost completely made of plastic feels a little cheap hopefully will last. If you compare directly to a gas mower not quite as good of a job picking up leaves and things as my past mowers. Ease of use more than makes up for. So far the battery life has been good on a full charge can cut small lawn 30 x 45 ft on a turbo and have enough left over to cut a small backyard as well. That is if you don't let the grass get too long but with it being this easy it's easy to just break out the mower and give it a quick mow. Not a big fan of the little safety switch as well. Overall love this though have only used a few times so far. Very quiet as well compared to a gas mower.

Very light weight

I bought this to trim where the riding lawnmower won’t fit. I have 2 different Worx trimmers, but it has become too difficult to hold them above the ground due to muscle weakness.
It is very powerful for its size and did the job I needed. I have several 20 volt Worx products, so the two 20 volt batteries were a deciding factor in my purchase. It comes with a dual charger, so that’s even better.
One suggestion for improvement I would offer is to have caster type wheels on the front along with a larger wheel on the back for easier handling, then it would be perfect.

Absolutely Love This Mower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Worx mower I had the 24v for years and needed a new battery, instead I decided to get a new one and I chose the 40v and I'm so glad I did. You dont have to guess how much battery life is left because of the on board system let's you know. The grass and dandelion weeds were very high due to rain and warm weather with this mower I was able to mow my backyard and still had power left. No matter what I needed the mower to do it did. With my 24v I always had to recharge the battery to finish the yard if the grass was high. I highly recommend this 40v mower.

Amazing Electric Mower!

Having owned numerous Worx products over the years, we continue to be impressed by the design and reliability of their products. This 40V Power Share is no exception.
It cuts through our St. Augustine grass with ease and is always even. The beauty of electric is the light weight as well. Self-propulsion is definitely not needed.
We're hoping for many years with this great mower and will be keeping an eye out for cool new products from Worx. Thank you, Worx!

Dud worst mower ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am highly disappointed. I have several Worx tools so when I needed a new mower I didn’t even look at other brands I bought a Worx. My previous mower wasn’t a Worx and it was only 36 volts but it could mow my front, back, and alley with plenty of charge left over. This 40 volt Worx mower I can’t even get half my front yard done! I bought new batteries and a new charger hoping I had just gotten some bad batteries, but same results. I’m so disgusted with it I’m buying a new mower this year even though this one still technically “works” total waste of good money

Perfect companion to the Worx Landroid!

You know up front when you buy a Worx Landroid that you will still need to do some trimming. And, while the Landroid does cut to the edge, you may have a decent little border along your perimeter where you could not get too close to hardscape with boundary wire. You also learn that the Landroid tends to miss some spots from time to time. Well it turns out that this little mower handles all of that without the need to drag out your old gas-powered mower. Sure, you could use a string trimmer, but it’s awkward and at best only has two wheels to balance on.
This is terrific. I zip around the border with ease, mow down those little high spots here and there, and not even break a sweat. It is truly one of my best yard tools.

Robust Cutting Power

As a test we used our new mower after a heavy rain. We have a mature growth of zoysia which is a very thick grass. This is our first experience with any cordless mower and I was very curious how the WORX mower would stand up to the zoysia and whether or not the battery would last long enough to be practical for our yard. I am pleased to say the mower performed very well and the Intellicut technology kicked in seamlessly. The battery lasted far longer than I expected.
Two thumbs are up for this mower. I wish that I had converted to cordless much sooner.

Great mower

This is a great little mower, I wanted something that I didn’t have to worry about getting gas for so decided to go with a battery powered mower, well it came in and was so easy to put together, just add handles and charge the batteries and your ready to go! So light and easy to manage, love that I can mow with the bag on or off.. The batteries lasted a good while, not enough to do both front and back yard but I needed a break anyway to recharge! I would definitely recommend this mower, I love all my worx tools, I have the weed eater and the blower as well!

It's light enough that it's easy for me to push. It's mows great. The lawn looks good when I am done. The batteries lasted long enough the first time I used it, but not the second. The grass was taller the second time and I'm wondering if the mower had to work harder and that's why it didn't last as long. The mowable part of my yard is probably about 1/3 of an acre. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. It allows me to take care of my own yard.

light weight and powerful

Power Share 4.0 Ah 14" Lawn Mower w/ Mulching & Intellicut (2x20V). I have been enjoying this little guy. Its lighter and more quiet than my old gas mower and no exhaust fumes. I wish I had been able to get the larger one, but it was not available in the time frame that I needed it. The small size is easier to store and carry in my Prius when I have to mow at my parents' house. I do have to make alot of passes to complete the yard . I have used it 5 times and so far so good. I wish they a one compatible with my 40v blower to share the battery.

I bought this mower less than a month ago and I am thoroughly convinced it is the best little mwer on the market. Firdt off, itwas shipped and arrived earlier than projected, Once I got it outof the box, itwas one of the simplist pieces of machinery I have ever assembled Went together exactly as explained in the manual. Another great thing was the batteries were already charged and I was able to mow my lawn immediately after assembly. The mower performed better than I had expected it to. Tried both the mulching and mowing capabilities and both were perfect. Although, I have a small area to be mowe3d, I only used up two green bars so there is enough battery power for me to get two mowing before charging the batteries. Great little machine.

Have used this several times. It is late Sept. in ne PA - grass is wet from nightly dew every day. This little machine cuts thru 12" tall grass like nothing. I lift up the front end the first pass then drop the front pulling it back. It is much faster and easier for me to use than to hold my WORX weed wacker that weighs about 5 lbs. I am 79, small frame, thin arms - I shove it up small hills - easier to do than with my Lawn Boy that is/was self propelled. I am using it for trim as I have a large yard and have a riding mower to cut most of it. It may stall and shut off if grass is too high for it. Just pull it back and it restarts immediately and raise the front some. It cuts down young thistle weeds, etc. I am very pleased with it!!

14 inch cut Mower

We have a small front and back yard and my new 14 inch battery powered mower works great. I’ve had it five or six weeks and used it three times already because we have been getting a lot of rain. I’ve been using the attachable bag and it collects all the trimmings nicely. The batteries are still holding over half of the initial charge. It’s quite, light weight and a well built machine. I was so happy with the quality that I also bought their weed trimmer. If you have a small yard this is the way to go. No more gas and oil cans in the garage.

Exactly what I needed

Purchased this specifically for my wife so she could easily mow a relatively small patch of fenced off lawn. Received quickly, very well packaged (damage free),quick and simple assembly. Charged the two batteries over night and used it the next day. It mowed the fenced patch easily ,quickly and without any issues. Batteries still showed 3 lights so I didn’t charge them. A week later my wife took over the next mowing and had no problems or issues. She actually took the mower outside of the fenced area and mowed about 750 feet of edged lawn and planted areas around the house. the batteries still showed one light so it was time for a charge. Easy to start, easy to push, easy to maneuver and does a good job. Perfect for our need and very good value.
