[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was simple to put together. It already came with the gas mixture 40:1, so I know what to get at the store to get it running. We always had a corded trimmer and with this I was able to go everywhere with it and get all the weeds that have been growing like crazy around the property. It is pretty loud though, may want to get some ear plugs. The trimmer worked perfectly. I will be using this a lot.

First of all….it comes with everything you need in the box. That never happens. The string is already threaded and ready to take down your weeds. It comes with 32oz of engineered fuel + oil. It requires minimal assembly. It works fantastically! Highly recommend!

I love the red, but for me it's more that it starts easily, stays running, and my arm doesn't feel like it is going to fall off before I am finished. It cuts weeds like you wouldn't believe, and not as loud so the whole neighborhood complains I woke them up on a Sunday morning.

Broken in Less than 2 Years

It is still under warranty so I am working with Troy-Bilt to get it repaired but this thing is too new to be having problems. It does start easily, and customer service is good. this is why I gave it 2 stars. My last trimmer, also Troy-Bilt, worked great for 6-7 years before I had to do anything to it.

Trouble

Took one in for warranty and it worked 2 more times and then doesn't spin. Problem is I have 3 attachments with my newest not even open. I don't want a third troy bilt that won't work but I have attachments. What am I supposed to do.

Comfortable to use

Had high exceptions for this trimmer. First off, received a defective part to begin with. Then, turns out this trimmer is much too short for my height, which was not disclosed. Returns are strict. Also, string line is not so straightforward to change or adjust.

Easy to use

Practical priced string trimmer !!

Little cold blooded but does a nice job. Little bit on the heavy side but I’m getting older too. As far as power when you get into thick stuff it has plenty of steam with little effort for its size. Great value, would buy again.

My TB25CB worked flawlessly the first three times I used it, but unfortunately it will not start. I followed all guidelines and used TruFUEL 40:1 to no avail. I could not be more disappointed.

This beast will not start. Re-gapped the spark plug & even used canned gas. Is there anywhere I can take it to get it started....
