[Cet avis a été recueilli dans le cadre d’une promotion.] J’avais hâte d’essayer la peinture d’ici prestige. J’ai choisi un gris pour mettre dans mon salon-salle à manger dans le bas des murs sous la cimese.
La peinture s’étend très bien j’ai été agréablement surprise elle ne fait pas de grumeau n’est pas trop liquide n’y trop épaisse . Elle ce travaille très bien autant au rouleau qu’au pinceau , elle a recouvert sans problème en une seule couche mes murs. Je suis vraiment très contente

Sico Quality to the Rescue

It has;
- great 1 coat coverage (done 2 coats)
- goes on very smooth and even
- very low splatter and drip when rolling and cutting
- decent (near perfect) hiding ability from patches
- low odor while painting and after drying (3 days after painting)
- comparable if not better to other top competitors.
If the price is right in store, I would purchase and use for all my home painting needs.

En une seul couche j’ai pu repeidre et il n’y a aucune trace de l’ancienne couleur. J’aime beaucoup la consistance de la peinture, elle s’étant très bien sans être trop épaisse et sans être trop liquide. Bref une bonne capacité de recouvrement sans trop de petites gouttelettes qui éclabousse partout. Je recommande fortement ce produit,

Amazing coverage

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I decided to try this paint on my forest green bedroom, I chose a light Grey colour called freezing rain. The paint went on smoothly and covered the Dark green quite well!
My bedroom looks amazing and it seemed almost effortless with this paint, the light grey made the room look not only bigger, but bright and very appealing.
I am very happy with this paint and would definitely purchase for my next project.

Après avoir essayé plusieurs concurrents cette gamme de peinture n'a rien a envier au Grand nom. Une seul passe est réellement nécessaire, elle couvre parfaitement. Son application est également facilité grâce à sa texture crèmeuse et non liquide contrairement à certaines marque ou 3 couche serait nécessaire pour le même rendu. Un best-seller de la peinture.

Awesome paint

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received a can of Prestige paint by Sico in exchange for my honest review. I used it to paint my dining room from a medium-dark grey to a lovely shade of grey-blue. The paint did not have a strong smell and did an amazing job covering a much darker colour. It didn't streak and it didn't really splatter either. Both my husband and myself were very impressed with it and we love our new paint colour.

High quality paint

Sampled many different colours in different rooms and all paints worked perfectly. Also the colours pop and are much richer than the lower grade SICO paints. For example the same colour code was mixed in SICO Evolution and SICO Prestige. The colour should be the same but no , surprisingly the Prestige was more accurate and much more pleasant to the eye after drying on the walls. Very impressive!

Fantastique, cette peinture!

[Cet avis a été recueilli dans le cadre d’une promotion.] Fantastique, la Sico prestige! Elle couvre vraiment bien, en plus d'être facile à appliquer. Nous avions des réparations et du sablage à faire sur ce mur, et la peinture a bien camouflé tout cela. Nous avons cependant dû donner deux couches, puisque nous avons utilisé une couleur pâle par-dessus une plus foncée. Aussi, il y a une multitude de choix de couleurs. Je la recommande sans hésiter!

Étant habitué aux produits SIco, j'ai beaucoup apprécié je suis capacité de la couverture je n'ai eu qu'à faire un seul coup pour couvrir l'applicabilité de la pièce alors que le la couleur d'origine était due rose français j'ai pu couvrir ça facilement sans beaucoup discutés
Trouve que le produit ne sent pas très fort c'est un aspect très agréable visuellement comme toucher une fois sec

It really is a one coat wonder

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I would totally recommend this paint, it is so nice to only have to do one coat. I went from a light colour to a darker cover and it covered beautifully. I did have to cut in a second time in a few places, but that was probably user error, the rolled part looked great after one coat. This it the first paint I have used that really did cover completely in one coat and I didn't need to use a primer. This paint was quick and easy to use, saving hours of time not having to put another coat on and the roller cleaned up well.
It is difficult to pick a colour from a paint chip but the colour was pretty close to the chip, I really liked the colour on the wall. I love being able to change the feel of a whole room by just changing the wall colour. The paint did seem a bit thinner than other paints (might be part of it's secret) so I would recommend making sure you have floor covering in case of drips.

Amazing Paint

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This paint and primer in one is your go to solution. It applies perfectly in one low odor coat. There was even some left over dark brown paint which was coated in this Sico Prestige and only one pass was needed. The paint adheres so well and is so smooth to apply . The color I chose was Arctic Seal and there are many to choose from . I would highly recommend that you try this out !!

Essais de la peinture sico prestige

[Cet avis a été recueilli dans le cadre d’une promotion.] La peinture sico prestige s'applique très bien, elle a un bon pouvoir cachant. On avait une moulure à mi mur qu'on a enlevé et on a du mettre du plâtre, nous n'avons pas mis de sous-couche (primer). Nous avons tout de même dû mettre deux couches de peinture pour ne plus voir le plâtre.
Le résultat final est très satisfaisant, tout les défauts du mur ne sont plus apparents.

One of the easiest paint jobs I've done! I loved the whole application process until now the completely finished product!! I'm doing a stairway walkway next and I while I'm not 100% on the colour I know exactly which product I'm going to use again!

Amazing paint

And it's great for my house with my kids because I do a lot of scrubbing and there's nowhere on my walls. The Piccadilly Circus is a beautiful color and a great accent to my home. So happy to have had this opportunity to test and review this paint

What Went Wrong?

I used Simco Prestige to cover a tv Stand. We cleaned it, sanded it first. The paint would not spread easily. A 47" wide x 24" tall stand took hours to paint. Nightmare. It never dried, had a rubber like finish to it & each time I dust, dots of paint vanish. It's like rubber that won't dry properly so marks when you look at it hard. Was told it was the "Best" paint.

No bad odors

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It doesn't have any strong smell, and it dried fast. The paint was smooth in texture, not dripped as other brand I used previously. The only thing that I was kind of disappointed is I need more than one coat. I had selected picadilly circus colour, and I love the colour so much. I will purchase it again for my other room, and I will also recommend it to others.

La seule peinture à utiliser !!!!!

Une seule couche de gris a suffit pour faire un mur d’accent. La peinture s’applique aisément et surtout elle offre une couverture exceptionnelle. Suite à mon test avec la Sico Prestige j’ai déjà racheter la même peinture pour rafraîchir deux autres pièces.

Gave Sico a second chance and won't ever again

I normally use Valspar but gave the "higher end" Pristige a chance and regretted it. Was thick and didn't cover well, used on painted drywall and didn't cover in 2 coats. Got another brand to do third coat. My air quality sensor alarmed "high VOCs" with this "Zero VOC" paint and I had to send my pregnant wife out of the house. This paint is a lie on every claim.

Peinture couvrante et de bonne qualité

Je trouve qu'au pinceau, c'était plus difficile de ne pas faire de trace de poils. Mais la peinture de glissait pas non plus. Au rouleau, c'était vraiment rapide et ça couvrait bien. J'ai fait 2 couches pour rafraîchir une peinture qui datait de 2016.
Ma salle de bain a un bel éclat de jeunesse!

One coat promise

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I absolutely love this paint! One coat!! It completely covered all the stains, from finger prints to I don't know what but it's all gone. Paint still intact and no prints. Woohoo! It dries so fast and no smell. The color even matched the brochure.The can is lighter than the old metal ones, good idea using plastic cans. Overall this Sico Prestige paint is #1.

Wow et agréablement surpris

Dès la première couche on se demande si on doit en mettre une deuxième, mais on a quand même mis une deuxième couche pour être sur et ca été rapide. Le séchage aussi est très rapide et la peinture ne dégage presque pas d'odeur. Facile a étendre et camouffle très bien les imperfection ou réparation effectuer sur le mur

Nice thick rich in color paint

I noticed that where we tested and pointed on top, we could see double layers….. so we had to sand it and do touch up again…. So either you do one layer or do two layers but don’t try to make two layers with this paint …. Keep it consistent…. I liked it

Awesome paint

We got the eggshell colour which was a perfect complement to our existing ocean blue walls. The paint went on smoothly and dried within hours. We apply one coat and was completely satisfied with the outcome. The paint did not have a strong smell either. Highly recommend.

Avec une seul couche ma petite salle de bain sombre ces transformé en belle salle de bain lumineuse! Seulement une seul couche fu nécessaire pour couvrir les vestiges du taupe foncé qui rendait la pièce sombre et minuscule.
Aucun primeur fu nécessaire. Je suis très satisfaite

Cette peinture offre une couleur superbe et couverture maximum ,une seule couche sur un mur de couleur foncée et voilà.
Une application tres facile qui s’étale tres bien et une si faible odeur qu’on ce rend a peine compte que l’on a peint la piece . Je le recommande fortement!!!

Perfect paint and easy application

Great product!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was a bit skeptical about the paint being able to be applied in one coat (acting as a primer/paint all in one). But, after putting on one coat and letting it dry, I was impressed. It was smooth and even in just one application. The colour was really nice as well and pretty close to the shade in the sample. I painted a small bathroom that had white, builder-grade paint that feels more like primer and was a bit rough to the touch. The Sico Prestige obviously covered the white with no issues, but it made the wall have a more polished look and feels smooth. I will likely be using this paint in another area of the house now that I know it can cover in one coat. I would highly recommend this product for anyone that wants to skip the primer step and just apply one coat. The colour selections seem to be great as well, so there's likely a shade for every room. I have to paint my daughter's room in the next few months, and I plan to use Sico Prestige again for sure. A+

Don't expect 1 coat

I went to Rona looking for paint, and the sales rep was adamant I only needed one coat after I asked a few times if he was sure. Sure enough I painted and was left with a wall speckled with the colour from underneath. Had to end up buying more paint, which obviously became double the cost of what I expected.
