Peinture SICO Portes et moulures, Perle, Base 3, 3.78 l

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) No odour! Paint went on very smoothly - easy to roll, no drips. Great coverage of several scuff marks that wouldn't quite scrub off beforehand. Only one coat was required (the doors had been previously painted). The label says it's durable & scrubbable. This is great if you have young children around the house. The 'pearl' colour has really made the doors 'pop'. Instead of just being there, they're nice & bright. I liked that the paint dried quickly. Best of all was the cleanup - soap & water quickly removed the paint from my brush & roller tray. Thanks to Home Tester Club for giving me the opportunity to test this product.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This was my first time trying any paint from Sico. I had previously went to a paint store that just carried one brand. I am very satisfied with this doors and trim paint. I selected the pure white colour with the pearl finish and it really made my trim and doors pop against the grey paint in our kitchen. They had previously been painted so I only needed to apply one coat. There were some dark marks left on the door after prepping them and the paint covered them very nicely. This paint applied easily and dried with a lot less brush strokes than the paint I normally use. The finish looks very nice. I would definitely purchase more paint from this brand. I find the price point to be reasonable for the quality of paint.

Super produit autant pour les portes et moulures que pour les meubles. Je l'ai utilisé pour repeindre un meuble et je suis tellement satisfaite! Facile à appliquer, sèche super bien et rapidement, couvre vraiment bien (après la première couche je voyais déjà une énorme différence) c'est donc économique d'un coté parce qu'il en faut moins... Juste wow malgré que c'est un produit dispendieux. On m'a dit que c'était un produit efficace et durable ce qui a facilité mon choix... reste à juger par moi-même de sa durabilité et sa facilité d'entretien.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Overall, I am happy with this product. I used it to paint a 1930s door I was refurbishing for my house. I used a spray gun to apply the paint after sanding and refinishing the door. I was happy with how it applied to the door; it was an easy to use paint. I felt my application wasn't perfect but I was very happy with the finish I got from the paint. The colour came out exactly as I wanted. I have to wait to try out its durability but I have high hopes for it. It is a thick paint, I had to use paint thinner in order to properly utilise the spray gun. I wish the store had more options for finish options, when I was there Pearl was the only option in this style of paint. I would use this paint again. I received a free sample of this product in exchange for an honest review.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was pleasantly surprised how well this paint worked for my oak trim. I purchased the paint in white and was a bit hesitant to paint without a base coat primer but, the can says "no need for a primer" so I didn't use one and it actually covered VERY well. The paint when on smoothly and dried like an average paint would. I did however do two coats of paint just to make sure the oak wouldn't pull through. So far so good! I will be purchasing this product again perhaps to refresh our trailer kitchen cupboards.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The first gallon I used was basic white. I found it covered over previously painted trim and doors nicely. However, I found that I needed to use two coats on some of the wood trim that had not been painted previously. For the second gallon, I added a taupe colour. The paint was a nice texture with little drips. The paint dried pretty quickly. The clean up was fairly easy too. The paint washed off my hands with little effort. I was also able to remove the paint from the brushes and tray fairly easy as well. Although it said it is Low Odour, I found the smell to be a stronger than other low odour paints I have used in the past. I did notice however, once the paint started to dry, the smell was no longer noticeable. Overall I did like the paint and will most likely buy it for my next project.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very pleased with the results after trying SICO Doors & Trim paint. We we given some previously installed baseboard and trim which was painted already. We gave the trim a quick, light sand to smooth and clean up a bit and went right to painting. We were pleasantly surprised at the coverage the SICO paint provided with only one coat. It did dry very quickly and a second coat could have went on the same day but we did wait overnight. Second coat gave complete coverage, with even, smooth finish. No strong unpleasant paint smell which was a bonus! The trim looks new and no one would know the difference. Pleased that it is also washable should make for easy maintenance. Also painted interior doors in the kitchen and bathroom with just as impressive results! Making the house look refreshed with just a coat of paint!! Love it and will be purchasing in the future!

The colours are very vibrant, the product itself was easily applied and took no time at all. There was a very mild oder from the paint, but it was not unpleasant. There was no bubbling and went on smoothly. Dry time was fast and dried true to colour. I would definitely purchase this paint again and would recommend it to family and friends.
