Peinture SICO Muse, Mat atténué, Base 3

I asked for flat, best quality paint and sold this. This is NOT flat and there is just enough sheen to this paint that if you have plaster, all of undulations and irregularities become extremely visible at night with the lights on. There are also roller marks still visible at night after 2 good, solid coats. Looks awful, wasted my money and money and time. The latter of which which is extremely limited and not happy with having to repaint. It also is absolutely NOT a one coat paint. Avoid this product. I’ve done a lot of painting and use high quality tools so this is not user error.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The SICO Muse paint + primer is a miracle worker! I had the chance to try this paint for free and I chose my stairwell that had a bright orange color. I knew I wanted a lighter more neutral color and this paint totally allowed me to skip the priming step. I choose gloss paint because I have kids and little fingerprints to wash off the walls all the time. It went on very smooth and seems thicker than other paints I have tried. After one coat you could definitely tell this is quality stuff. I did two coats and the colour looks great! I think this paint will hold up well for a very long time.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The results I was able to achieve using Sico Muse Interior 100% Acrylic Paint are truly impressive. I decided to start with a coat of primer because I was covering a very dark green with a light colour (Rice Paper). I also had some areas of new drywall I was painting over. This paint is easy to use and has a very low odour, clean up was also easy. I was almost able to get away with a single coat, especially in the rolled areas. I needed a bit more coverage in the cutting areas so I went ahead with a second coat. The ‘soft gloss’ finish has a slight sheen and looks beautiful. I could not be more happy with how this paint job turned out. This paint is premium so it does have a higher price tag but the results are well worth it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Sico Muse paint is not one that I would have chosen in the past. I was excited to try it. We decided to paint the stairwell and upstairs landing area with the paint. My husband and I chose the freezing rain color as we wanted something different from the sand color we have on the main floor. I love the fact that it is a paint and primer in one. It is a tricky area to paint so not having to do a second coat is a bonus. It goes on smooth and looks great. The area looks ten times better as the previous color was a dirty yellow that originally covered all the rooms and stairwell area. The stairs were the area that needed the attention. I have some left so I may even try to carry it over to do my bedroom which is the only are left with the gross yellow.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I chose the soft gloss sico muse interior paint on my front entrance and main floor. I thought because it was paint and primer all in one it would only need one coat but I had to paint 2 coats and around the trim cutting in it needed 3 coats. It did dry pretty quickly. My original colour was a light taupe and I chose hint of grey for the sico paint. It went on pretty smooth and I like the way it looks on the walls but prefer another paint I normally use over the sico paint. The sico muse would be my 2nd choice.

Brought a dark color to cover a beige and on third coat and still not covered. While brushing the paint is coming off. Have used other Sico paint but decided to go with this supposedly higher quality. Worst ever, so disappointing and still not sure what to do. Took every step correctly, cleaned and let walls try. Purchased best tools, stirred paint but still not covering and can’t touch with brush to cover due to paint coming off. Would normally take 3 gallons to complete but will take at least 6.

Nous avons peinturé le plafond du salon avec la peinture Muse et c’est un vrai désastre. Nous voulions le fini Cashmere et on s’est fait dire que c’était remplacé par la collection Muse et on se l’est fait vanté. Résultat, plafond plein de coups de rouleau qui ne se match pas. Ça fait plus que 30 ans que l’on peinture, plafond, mur et ce n’est pas à cause du peintre. Normalement peinture impeccable. Jamais plus, nous n’achèterons cette cochonnerie de peinture.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used the colour "Flawless Grey" over top of my yellow living room walls. This paint covered beautifully. I used the matte finish( it is best to use matte on walls and semi gloss on trim). I had a hard time choosing a shade as they are all so modern and beautiful. This paint looks exactly like the swatch and hides imperfections well. Having young children I am also very impressed with the lack of paint odours. Wonderful paint!
