We bought this paint 13 years ago to paint our two exterior entrance doors to our home. Only now, after 13 years is there slight chipping and very little fading! That's amazing. As I was looking up colours for ideas on repainting the two doors now, I decided to check and see if we still had the old paint can around. We did! And it's this exact paint. Needless to say, we will go with the same paint again. Fantastic ling lasting paint.

Easy application, great finish

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried SICO Exterior 100% acrylic paint on my garage door and my fence. I chose semi-gloss for the finish. I found that the paint went on smoothly and evenly. I applied two coats for peace of mind but it gave excellent coverage on the first coat. I tried applying the paint with a brush and a roller and found both worked very well. The paint texture was neither too runny nor too thick and was a good consistency to work with.

SICO Exterior Acrylic Paint

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) On opening the tin the paint appeared very viscous and easy to stir creating a lot of visible bubbles. Application was smooth with few visible brush marks and very little dripping. The paint had very little aroma which was not noticeable. Coverage was good and a second coat was needed on bare wood as recommended, small cracks and imperfections were covered by the paint which did not dry too quickly in warm temperatures.

Superior, Exterior acrylic !

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Absolutely recommend SICO Exterior 100% acrylic paint to anyone with an outdoor project ! The quality is AMAZING , such a smooth finish ! SICO Exterior 100% acrylic paint does not have an extreme odor like most outdoor paint. Easily wash off any splatter with water . All in all SICO Exterior 100% acrylic paint is a great choice for quality and superior to the grand majority of outdoor exterior paints on the market !

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Application was easy, it went on smooth. Good coverage, not a strong smell. We painted our front door and side door, seems like it will be durable. I had a good experience using this paint and would recommend it to others. Also, when purchasing the paint Sico had a wide variety of colours to choose from with a variety of finishes, which was nice. Easily accessible to buy at our local home improvement store.

The coverage was good, although I was painting over a similar colour and I really liked the fact that the primer was built in. It saves so much time not having to put a primer on, wait for it to dry, etc. The lack of strong odour was a welcome feature as well. I would recommend this product for your outdoor projects.

Amazing paint! Smooth, and luxurious!

I painted 8 shutters, and 2 doors. I still have to paint my front door.
Took 2 coats, as I expected, but the first coat dried in 15 minutes.
I barely used 1/4 of a gallon!
There were lots of colours to choose from! I loved the large brochure at the store to choose my colour.
The dried paint washed off my hands with just water!

Exterior painting made easy!

There were no brush marks left in the paint after application, little spray and easy to clean up. For the most part I only needed to apply one coat. I would highly recommend SICO Exterior 100% acrylic paint for all your outdoor painting projects.

Beautiful finish!

This is beautiful paint. Covers great and the satin finish looks beautiful. I've had terrible experiences using Behr products and was looking for a different brand. This is the first time I've tried Sico paint and I love the result. I plan on continuing to purchase this paint brand for future painting projects. Highly recommend!

No fuss & great coverage.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Since moving into our home a few years ago, I've been wanting to paint the white trim to our house & our unpainted fence to a dark grey colour. The opportunity to try SICO Exterior 100% Acrylic Paint has succeeded in giving our property a new look! I picked the semi gloss finish, which was ideal for the pressure treated lumber of the fence. I did minimal prep, i.e. scraped remnants of vines off the surface & cleared spider webs. Using a narrow roller, I applied one coat of paint on a fence, then detailed using a paintbrush. I was pleasantly surprised that this paint lives up to the "paint & primer in one." The thickness of the paint is the perfect consistency & provides sufficient coverage in one pass. That was two weeks ago & I'm looking forward to completing the fence with this SICO Exterior 100% acrylic paint. Good news is the paint has withstood torrential downpour & super hot temperatures. Overall I'm very happy with this product & would purchase again.

Great paint at a great price.

Some of the things I loved most was the low odour, easy cleanup with water, and quick dry time. I applied it using a good quality paint brush and brush strokes are barely visible. Great paint at a good price point.

I chose a black rice colour which is actually a dark brown colour. my house has a lot of brown accents and I was really happy with the colour. it went on smooth and dried quickly. it has a nice not shiny look. Excellent Exterior Paint - Doors/Windows

A very good quality paint that spreads very evenly and covers the area in almost in 1 coat, but obviously applied several coats for thorough coverage and protection. Washes up quite nicely and the smell is very tolerable, not offensive. Now time will tell if it holds up to the weather.

Makeovers Made Easy

So many options... Major wow factor

Colour ends of vibrant, and matte finish is perfect for exterior colour. Drying time isn't too bad, and final outcome made our shed look brand new.

My favourite paint ever, but needs perfect weather

I love, love, love this paint, which I bought because the previous homeowner had used it on the deck and deck supports and I wanted it to be the same. A local painter who gave me a quote to do the siding of my house for me told me that the acrylic stain they normally use won't go on over a Sico product, so I wanted to be sure to use the same product. It goes on marvelously, has great coverage, and is really beautiful! One coat was all that was needed. I have tried it on plastic as well, and it went on well, although I can't yet speak to how long it lasted. The problem is - and this is a HUGE problem, so much so that I didn't buy this brand when I started on the wood siding of my house - you have to have 3 days of dry weather before you apply it, with no rain in the forecast for two days. This almost never happens where I live in Ontario, so I would do a small job with this product in a heartbeat but I absolutely would not take on a multiple day job with it. You just aren't likely to have that many rain free days in a row. It's a pity, because I have never used a paint/stain that went on so nicely and looked so good!
