I own several of these and it’s been my constant go-to for years. I’ve owned the same knife for 10+ years and it has zero issues. I started using them as an architecture graduate school to cut all sorts of materials for building models - now it’s my go-to home tool for around the house & my craft projects.

Most used tool in my toolbox

I use this particular knife in my everyday work field. It performs the best as a rubber cutting tool and I wouldn’t look to use anything else. Other knifes dull quickly and a relatively unsafe. Having the ability to retract the blade and stick it in my pocket is one of the best aspects

The Best!

This knife is the best. I’ve used it on construction sites and in the art studio for the past 13 years. Any other utility knife just won’t do. It’s light, comfortable to use, and because of the ratchet lock you’re able to get a very precise and secure blade depth. A must.

Love the knife

I have used the 18mm for many years. I miss being able to buy the version with the rubber strip on the back. That strip made the knife fit my hand better and as a result was a staple in my toolbox and shop. Have moved to the larger knife now as it has the rubber parts

Works great and reliable

This 18mm L-1 Ratchet Lock Utility Knife works great every time. Blade Is well made and haven't had to replace it yet, it's been 2 years! Cutting boxes or tape on boxes or drywall ,no problem. Well made and fair price. I highly recommend this product.

Working in a grocery store for 12 yrs in the grocery dept.we used these every single night. I had some last 3 to 4 years with not a care in the world how i treated it. Dropped it regularly, got wet, dirty, dusty and always worked without fail.

Just what you need!

I have nothing bad to say about this product. The handle is sturdy in my hand and the blade is completely stable and doesn't move around the handle like it does with cheap utility cutters. I have three of these because I kept misplacing it.

Best Architecture model knife

I have been Using the same olfa for almost 10 years. Never let's me down in the 8 years of university and architecture model making. I suggest putting you name on it because it will get lost or borrowed before you need to replace it.

Great all around knife

I've tried many knives over the years and this knife has consistently remained my go to. Decent priced, light, and always sharp. Even used it to cut seat eats of an old couple in an auto accident. Never leave home without it now.

This is a cheaper knife in OLFA line of products. But I use it everyday. For remove jackets from cables. Cutting drop sealing tiles. Cutting drywall for running cables. Opening beer cans and prepare sandwiches! :)

Strong and Durable

Used this style of Olfa knife for years, never let me down. You can buy the cheap knockoffs but their locks always suck and you end up throwing them away. Always end up going back to Olfa.
