The impact driver is a great tool. I have used other brands in the past. Non of them can compare to the power and compactness that the M18 FUEL 1/4" Impact driver can produce. I highly recommend this tool to all professionals and do-it-yourselfers out there!
Just drove 4" screws into 2 x4 with no issues. As well as a 1/2 x 13 carriage bolt through a hardwood pallet into the bottom of a grill. Feels good in the hand and isn't heavy. Even with a 5.0 XC battery. My new favorite next to the M12 I already have.

I consider this impact driver like my most powerful and versatile tool in my toolbox. When you do your job with this kind of tools you feel that you're using the right tool, it's like the tool knows what you need to do and it works for you, like a Mjolnir.
This impact has immense torque and speed, but also control with the trigger, and it won’t break your wrist. It’s lightweight so the heaviest part of the battery, but the tool itself is almost as light as the m12 tools. It’s a nice addition to the toolbox.
Very powerful and long lasting battery life. I am truly impressed with it. I purchased the bundle with two batteries expecting to be needing to switch every so often. It lasts for several days. I am not a professional. I am DIYer building my deck.
Have been a Dewalt user for the last 15 years, received this kit as a gift and love everything about it. Nice looking tools, batteries last a long time, everything has good power and built heavy duty. Nice work Milwaukee, you have my attention!
Quite a leap from my Gen 1(which is still going strong). Ability to adjust power to varying screw sizes is a great advantage. Plenty of power for big screws and lags. Lights are a big improvement. Overall another great tool from Milwaukee.
It’s a great tool, very powerful and long battery life. Love it! Making the full switch from Dewalt tools now, as all mine lasted me for only max 5 years and fall well short of all expectations in terms of longevity, power, and diversity.

This is a great impact driver so far has worked great for me. Good power, doesn’t kill my batteries and I know it’s reliable. I’m a plumber and do mostly new construction and this gets used almost every day and hasn’t let me down so far
Bought this to upgrade from a 15+ year old impact. I wanted more power and this one definitely delivers. I do find the handle to be a little on the large side but it’s not uncomfortable. Seems to be well balanced with a 5 amp battery.
Nothing but reliable power. It's nice getting what you pay for every time. After the tragic and sudden death of my gen 3 that I was very attached to the gen 4 has not disappointed me. Consistency breeds quality keep up the good work!
Tired of having to pull the large drill out, and fight with the size. This thing is nice and small full of power. I was able to drive in three inch deck screws with little effort and no stripping like i have done using my drill.
Made me switch from DeWalt, will never look back!!

Absolutely fantastic tool, I have zero complaints so far, paired with a five amp battery, there’s nothing it can’t do for me on the job site. I recently switched to Milwaukee from Dewalt, best move I’ve made. I am very satisfied.
This impact really drives screws and concrete anchors beyond the ease of any similar tool I have ever used. It has helped me provide much more efficient work on all my projects, both to customers and the local school I work at.
Great 1/4" impact driver love it replaced my blue brand with all milwaukee tools love them. This tool is compact compared to some on the market and unlike some other brands the belt clip comes with it and is not extra for it.
Quality loaded with power, my old impact after 8 yrs many many projects was feeling tired , borrowed a guy at work I was so impressed had to go out and buy my own. Old one still trucking new one doing the heavy pulling lol
Have an older gen M18, and watched lots of reviews on the Gen 4, all I can say is WOW. Huge difference. I particularly like the different settings for the types of screwing your doing. The lighting is also majorly improved
These tools seem to be of very good quality so far. They feel different from the DeWalt from the moment you pick them up. More area to grip, more torque, smoother operation. They just feel better. Time will tell longevity.
Power right out of the box. This tool is a staple of our farm we use it for drilling holes for brace pins to support our fencing braces. This replaced our dewalt 20 volt impact and the Milwaukee tool beats it hands down
This impact has he perfect amount of power for what I’m looking for and the debility this tool has is very impressive also I highly recommend this impact especially if you need it for a verity of tasks it will preform.
Compact size and Milwaukee never say die quality. Milwaukee is the only brand i will buy for a long-term tool. In over 35 years i have only needed one repair, and Milwaukee stood by their tool and repaired it for free.
I have been using Milwaukee tools for quite some time and found them to be good solid workhorses. So, when I accidentally abused my Milwaukee Impact Driver, I bought the newer model to replace the one I destroyed!
So far the best impact around.
I’ve had the Gen2 and used the Gen3 and this thing rocks them both. More power then both and it has the ramp of the Gen2 which is the best if any impact around.

I specifically wanted this as a house use cordless drill . As a single female I wanted something that would work easily for me for any use .
Great impact. Only complaint is handle needs to be more ergonomic. Long hours of use in tight or non parallel situations leads to wrist pain. a more tapered handle would help with this. Zero performance issues.
I use this all day long and it does the job right 100% of the time. My batteries seem to last forever on this impact driver and the power on it is incredible. There's no better impact driver on the market!
Great powerful set. Only thing that’s disappointing is the light. Feels very cheap and not very bright. I would just opt to not have it included as after trying it I do not think I will actually use it.
I bought one late last year and it was so amazing that I had to buy another to have in my wood shop. No complaints whatsoever. Lots of torque, the speed selection is awesome. Great work Milwaukee!
I bought this tool because a friend helped me build a bench and the torque on his Milwaukee was much higher than my Ridgid even though the advertised torque on the Ridgid is supposedly the same.
