I Would Never Buy This Tripod
il y a 9 mois
I was set on buying this tripod for my new 3-plane Milwaukee laser, but after watching the many videos and reading multiple reviews from as far back as two years ago, it appears to be a piece of trash. This is very disappointing as everything I own is Milwaukee — I have always had faith in, and been happy with every Milwaukee product I have purchased — even before cordless was available. Milwaukee, you have had years to fix this, but here we are with the same piece of junk you put on the market two years ago. Please pay attention to your customers’ reviews, pull this product from your line and make something we will be happy with.
I’ve used the laser level, tripod, and vertical adjustment attachment about a dozen times over the last week (just got them), and the laser is good, attachments are complete garbage.
The laser is too heavy for the stand, after getting everything set (using the two level bubbles on the stand) once you let go the laser will sag due to the weight. (Doesn’t matter how tight you turn the dials)
The adjusting knobs/locking knobs are useless. The amount of force required get things to remain where you set them will throw off any precision. So you are guessing and wasting a bunch of time.
(I have 10s of thousands in Milwaukee tools, all sorts, first time having a bad experience, first time leaving a review)

Ehh not the best
il y a un an
I am a proud Milwaukee guy, I make fun of my friends yellow and black and blue and black tools all the time, but this tool is not one that I'm proud of. It constantly falls short (literally) on jobs, and something you don't think about is being able to place a line very low to the ground which this cannot do. Just a month ago it was rendered completely useless because the vertical stop screw stopped working. There seems to be a small piece that is threaded that fell out in transit after a job. There's no way to get the part either. I'd be happy to buy it but there's no way I can find. If someone at Milwaukee is listening, please point me in the right direction so I can get my tripod working again.
I do not know why there is some much disdain for this tripod. I need a tripod for the 3632 laser, I read the reviews, watched the video and stayed away from this item. Subsequently I tried the Bosch, Dewalt, Husky and others. Low and behold all of them had the same alleged problems. This weekend, I finally bought one from my local store as I was able to price match.
This tripod is amazing. It leveled itself and I was able to use it on stairs.
Maybe it is not suitable for commercial use but for the price and as a DIYer this gets 4 stars
Just disappointed and annoyed with my overall experience with the tripod. The First problem was that base where laser attaches to was loose and could not tighten up to keep my laser steady, second issue was when I went to set my laser back up after lunch the handle to raise the laser stripped out and next thing you know I have a bunch of small plastic pieces on the floor and the handle just spinning with no raising or lowering. so I guess back to old reliable Bosch tripod. Boo…
I feel a 1 star is about 3/4 more then its worth. I have had junk since I received it. Loose, wobbles, while cranking up it drops down a couple teeth every rotation right out of the box. I have disassembled and sure enough teeth missing on the crank handle. When putting on my laser 360, it feels like its going to collapse under the weight of the laser. VERY DISSAPOINTED in the quality of this. Something you would expect from a big box stores "name" brand tools....JUNK

Very flimsy
il y a 2 ans
first of I only own Milwaukee tools and they are a dream to use. I have the 360 degree m12 laser and I was excited when Milwaukee came out with a tripod. BUT the moment I opened it I was disappointed. It is very flimsy and wobbles back and forth with the 360 degree m12 laser mounted on top.
I guess I will have to continue looking for a tripod to pair with this amazing laser.
Hello, thank you for your review on the 72" Laser Tripod. We will email you to assist. -Cayla with Milwaukee Tool

72" Laser Tripod
il y a un an
I love Milwaukee, 90% of my equipment is from this brand, in this opportunity I am going to complain about the 72" Laser Tripod, I did not reach the first year and the screw that fixes the vertical position stopped doing the job, I am trying to get the warranty and it is not easy, I hope someone from the brand sees this comment and help me to get what I want.
