L'accessoire coupe bordure M18 FUEL QUIK LOK Milwaukee est alimenté par le bloc moteur M18 FUEL avec QUIK LOK et est compatible avec le système d'accessoires QUIK LOK. L'outil comporte une lame de 8 po et une protection haute résistance pour plus de durabilité. After using this product 6 times the gear head started to lock up. I completely disassembled the gear head to find the cause. The bearings in the gear head were assembled with damage to the sides of the bearings. IMPROPER ASSEMBLY! One bearing came apart, and pieces from it locked up the gear head preventing it from moving. since I took it apart I had to pay out of pocket for new gear assembly.

This edger works great, I have about 800 feet of edging to do and the small edger or the old electric edger that I have took forever, the result is it only got done once a year. With this edger I can do it in about 90 minutes. The only problem is that for an 82 year old it is a bit on the heavy side, even with the shoulder strap. I almost used up one blade on the first run.
I was concerned that being two pieces hooked together the edger attachment would be wobbly. Well to my surprise it's not! Also, a big plus is the overall length means i can edge and not be all hunched over. I've been using an electric B&D edger for years and it just kills my back because it is so short. The M18 has plenty of power, easily as much as my electric edger.
This Quik-Lok Edging Attachment is an economical and well designed addition to your lawn care tool inventory. I get a clean straight line along my driveway, patios, pool and sidewalk that gives the lawn the necessary finishing touch after mowing. A real professional tool that gives you professional results all from the good folks at Milwaukee!!
Brand new out of box the adjusting wheel would not tighten. I called and asked for simple replacement parts that were out of tolerance preventing the wheel from locking down. I was denied because they said I had previously put in claims on other Milwaukee products throughout the years. I ended up fixing myself with different thickness washers.

I received this item as a gift from my daughter earlier this year. As I started to use it for the fourth time the blade barely spun and then it completely stopped spinning. I own a plethora of Milwaukee tools and have never had an issue, but with this product failing so quickly, needless to say, I am very disappointed in the quality.

Recently purchased the Milwaukee edger and once again I really can't say enough about Milwaukee brand it is awesome a bit of advice use a bigger ah battery as it does go through the juice on larger projects but the tool on its own is great it's light and very user friendly 100 % recommend if you are looking for that go to edger
I really enjoy the convenience of having an edger attachment versus having an entire power tool dedicated to just edging. The Quick-lok system makes this easy to attach to my Milwaukee trimmer power head. The edger is heavy duty and the reason why I went with Milwaukee. The tool creates great edges and is very easy to use.
I bought the string trimmer and got this also to help with the yard work around my house and that of my parents. Was really surprised how easy it was to swap in and out and to use. The power this has to cut thru some rough yard edges surprised even me. It really cleaned up the yard and made it look 10 times better.
Got the edger to go with the blower and quik-lok trimmer. A great compliment tool! Tore through the grass, roots and dirt that hasn't been edged in a year. Burned through a couple batteries but I'm sure that will improve with regular upkeep. The blower then had no problem removing the dirt from the driveway.
Good edger! Heavier then I thought it would be. But seems durable. Cuts through the grass, dirt, and mulch easily. The rear rubber flap also has a site guide so you can help keep your edging straight. Hopefully they have a replacement blade available at some point (if not already) available.
The lot at the home I just purchased had not been edged in over a decade. There was 4"-6" of heavy overgrowth past the edge of the cement along the driveway and sidewalk. The edger cut through all of it in one pass. Yes, I had to take it slower than normal, but the tool never bogged down at all
Picked this up as I already have the string trimmer. It does a great job for pre-edged beds, but needed more along driveway and this spring to help re-shape the mulch beds. This is a great edger, plenty of torque, and reaches full speed nearly instantly. It may not seem like it’s a big deal to reach max speed quickly, but when edging mulch beds that take over 20+ cu.yds. of mulch, you don’t want to spend a bunch of time waiting on the equipment when dodging roots and rocks. I really like the center line that shows the position of the blade behind the deflector. It’s a small, but thoughtful addition that really adds to precision edging. The weight and balance with a 6 or 8 ah battery is perfect and it feel weightless. The wheel adjustment is quick and solid. Battery does not last as long with this as it does the string trimmer, but this is cutting into dirt and slinging a thick metal blade around…so I figured that. Even still, downtime for a battery swap is minimal and typical property size would last on one battery.
Edger m18 gears in head sound noisy, added more lib and it sounds a bit better. Tool edges ok but the head seams to lack power and often cuts out.
I have many other m18 equipment and have never been disappointed but this edger does not give me the same enjoyment

The edger that I added for my Quik-Lok power head is outstanding. It has more power than the electric edger I had been using, is easier to control and being cord free is great. I am extremely happy with the Quik-Lok system. Hoping to add a pole saw in the future.
Works as it should. Trimming along my driveway and walk, I was walking at a brisk pace. When you hit the asphalt or concrete by accident you get a lot of sparks and obviously it is wearing the blade. Some sort of guide would be a welcome improvement.
It replaced an INCREDIBLY old plugin style edger I inherited from my grandfather. It was a workout just to get that thing to cut an already clean edge. Imagine how surprised I was. I've got to hold this one back, it just wants to go!! I love it!
It worked fine for a short time. I have owned it for eight months and just started using this spring. It did cut in a straight line and was fairly effective. Then it began to not fully engage on the interchangeable M18 Fuel trimmer. Repeatedly would not spin fast even though it was locked in and tightened down. Separated and reattached the parts numerous times. Located a video on YouTube of someone who had the same problem and they were able to show how to resolve the problem. Unfortunately no matter what mine won't engage enough. I would not recommend or buy another Milwaukee product.
The M18 cordless string trimmer head also now has two tabs broken off of it from using only once a week for eight months of use which is not covered by the warranty. It appears to be a common problem from other users experiencing the same issue.
Unfortunately now both of my 12.0Ah batteries are dying quicker on my Milwaukee Self Propelled Lawn mower. Initially I would have two bars left after mowing. Yesterday it just died after finishing 3/4 of my yard.

Great Edge Trimmer!

I have been collecting a lot of Milwaukee tools over the years and plane on collecting more. These are well made, powerful and dependable tools. I have owned many other brands in the past, and Milwaukee has been consistently the best.
I've patiently waited to purchase for tasks around the house and it was well worth the wait! From edging the sidewalk to garden to any other use you can think of this attachment is worth it. seems to be very durable and easy to use.
I love my Edger Attachment.
I've had other edger tools that were difficult to use , not do a good job and overall not a good tool.
My new Quick - lok attachment is easy to use and does a fantastic job. Best edger I've ever owned.
I have not used the edger attachment for three seasons and it works absolutely perfect. Has more power than any gas edger I have used. I do have one question… Is there a replacement blade for this? Mine is getting pretty worn down.
The M18 FUEL™ QUIK-LOK™ Edger Attachment is perfect for home use. Easy to use, light weight and versatile. The only down fall is the length for me. I'm 6'2 and find myself hunched over at times using the quick lok attachments.
Perfect for homeowners! I love having one lightweight tool and a couple small attachments to do what is needed around my property. The Edger works great and is so quiet & problem free in comparison to its gas counterparts.
I really just needed an edger to edge my gardens. Did about 14’ fairly well and now the blade barely spins and when you touch the ground with it it stops completely. Serious price tag for an item that broke in 30 minutes.

Edger attachment is better than expected!

I bought this hoping it would actually be powerful enough, but not expecting it to be. It is more than adequate to do the job and cuts through the nastiest, most neglected edge that I had. Would definitely recommend!
Works great!!! I have no complaints. I think for it being an attachment to a battery powered trimmer it does a fantastic job. My yard is not large so it definitely makes my life easier and the job more convenient.
QUIK-LOK edger worked well. Was first time using any quick-lok tools. Was able to engage quick-lok without too much effort. Felt good in my hands. Overall good product can't wait to get more quick-lok accessories.
This edger is a solid buy with easy cutting of an edge. There is honestly not much to say other than it doing exactly what it needs to and doing it very well. Don't hesitate and just get it - it is a must have.
I didn’t buy the edger for the normal uses, I bought it to install an In ground dog fence around my 2 acres of land . It was definitely worth the money and 100x faster than using a shovel! Money well spent!
