I purchased this power supply to use during power outages. I purchased four new M18 batteries for use with the power supply. All four batteries were fully charged and inserted into the power supply's ports. The power supply was never turned on; however, after a few days in "standby" mode, the batteries began to slowly discharge. I then removed the batteries, recharged them, and am now keeping them in a box until the power supply is needed. Before I purchased this power supply, I purchased the Milwaukee MX FUEL 3600 W/ 1800 W Lithium-Ion Battery Powered Push Start Portable Power Station Battery Generator. The batteries on the MX FUEL power supply do not discharge over time.

I have had the Carry-On for a few months now and overall the price point doesn’t warrant a purchase. For my setup I got 4 12 amp batteries. The biggest problem with this is if one battery goes out it stops working. It also doesn’t support pass thru charging and with no additional charging capabilities it really limits what you can do with this setup. For such a high price I would expect a lot more features, a solar charge port would be nice to go with this or really any other features. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Hi so i had purchased this item had upgraded from Ryobi power inverter and one day that i decided to use for microwave and for some reason it smelt like burned thinking it was microwave then come to notice that this thing had melted my batteries 3 12.0 batteries and one forge battery when i seen the this it well hurted that I put all this money into this item just to be a huge disappointment and now I won’t be able to get no replacement for my thing I hope milwaukee can find a solution I’m in disbelief of this situation

Great Product! We haven't put this through a lot of field-work yet- but what we have put it through has been pretty strenuous- an SDS Max Hammerdrill (plug-in, full speed, with load). Only improvement it'd like to suggest is making the locking handle (where you can "lock" the batteries into place?) Make it metal- anyone with a pair of pliers could walk by and cut the plastic- make it a little bit more difficult is all...or a cover/compartment like what you have on the transfer pumps?

I’ll preface this with saying that I have to have a defective unit. All I was running on this was 300w of LED lighting and 4 good 12.0 batteries were dead after 2-1/2 hours. I say that this is possibly defective because after 5 minutes all 3 batteries were at 3 bars, which doesn’t seem right to me. I had high expectations and will write a new review if this is resolved in a way that proves me right about the one I have. Time will tell.

I bought it to try on a camping trip as I am a big Milwaukee guy. I wanted it to run my cpap for the night. It lasted just a few beeping at me at 230 I'm the AM. I had a bigger battery in with 3 others. It's only as good as your weakest battery. Luckily someone else had a Jackery to try and I slept like a baby the next night. I didn't even bother trying again. I will be returning it tomorrow.

Neat but didn’t make the expectations. -Needs pass through power. IE charge and supply at the same time. Literally a 3rd dedicated plug for that is all that’s needed. -Needs options to run on more batteries but will run in less. Etc 6 batteries to extend runtime, but can use only 4 -Needs simultaneous rapid charge. -Should have a kit option with reduced battery prices

I was waiting for Milwaukee to come out with this! This is exactly what I needed. My intended use is for my daughter's pitching machine, though I tested a full size fridge and chest freezer and it worked for over 12 hours for emergencies. For pitching, I have used a normal generator for the passed 2 years, but it was loud and required a long 10/3 extension cord such that the fumes weren't an issue. This unit solves both problems and ran it no problem for hours! Since information is not very specific in the manual, I found in testing if you run close to the 1800w nominal draw, your lowest battery amp-hours will be the amount of time it will run (roughly). So if you put all 12Amph batteries, you would get about 12 hours run time...5Amph, 5 hours, etc... Obviously if you are drawing less, you will get more time on those same batteries. This might be helpful for many since those specs aren't really published.
