It’s a great all around bandsaw. The three things I think could be improved…1. Easier single hand safety start. ( often you need the other hand to hold EMT). 2 the older guard plate was faster and easier to adjust. 3. Fuel?Is it just mine or is the rpm a little low? That being said, I still think it’s a great saw if you are only going to have one.

Honestly want another one for myself, this one was bought for the crew, and as an apprentice, I’m using it every day and need another one, highly recommend this tool if you want to get your job done quick and effectively. No other tool on the market does what the bandsaw does. From pipe to rod to anything in between. 5 star well deserved
I haven't used it much yet, but it feels smooth and sharp. Since I bought my first Milwaukee power tool decades ago, all following purchases of power tools have been the Milwaukee brand. I believe Milwaukee makes the best power tools. They are smooth, powerful, durable and comfortable to use. They are well worth the price.
Being able to have the convenience of carrying a band saw in one hand around a job site is amazing. Milwaukee Tools has once again completely crushed their competition. Having a band saw that is compact enough, you can operate it with one hand and boasts the power of a full size saw, is like having your cake and eating it too!
This bandsaw so far is awesome. It’s so much better to use this tool to cut old black iron pipe, unistrut, threaded rod, pvc, and pretty much anything that can fit nicely in the cutting area. Haven’t tried it on cast iron but I’m looking forward for the opportunity. Very useful tool.
I'm an industrial maintenance electrician and this saw is amazing. It cuts quick it's light weight you can even cut then ream conduit with the reamer attachment. After just buying a couple fuel tools they sold me I now have over 20 m12 and m18 fuel tools. No more yellow only red
Man this band saw is the bees knees!! Makes me cutting bigger copper and unistrut and all thread so much quicker and clean cuts every single time! If you’re in the market for a band saw, I can’t recommend this enough buy this band saw!! You will be more than pleased!!!
Let me start by saying I'ma tool junky even if ion need it I want it, but this it was essentially for my line of work. Weather it wire, conduit, pipes, or anything that can fit it'll cut it up like there's no tomorrow. Just keep a good sharp blade on it all your set
This gem rips through material! Powerful and undeniable in its efficiency, this BandSaw is a must add to your kit. Blade eats through steel, aluminum, and plastic. Speed adjusts with trigger. Keep material next the guard when cutting and you’ll be safe and happy!
I like that it has the variable trigger now but the safety switch is in a terrible spot. You need handles of an NBA player to have your thumb push the safety. Other then that it seems like a good unit. And it's much lighter then the old one. So that is wonderful
Great bandsaw, plenty powerful and very portable. I like the battery that came with it. Only downside I had was the blade that it came with wasn't all that great. Decided to go cordless after using a 15 yr old corded milwaukee bandsaw. Still works flawlessly

This bandsaw is awesome littary so light love the hook on the back i hook it on to my loft and is always available to grab the adjustable button on the gaurd is really nice and the performance from this product is awesome makes me do my job fast and clean!!!!!
This fuel bandsaw is a big upgrade on the m18 bandsaw, cuts smoother, much faster, and really light. The only problem I have with it, is the reamer attachment. Reamer attachment keeps falling off after a couple uses, does not tighten onto the bandsaw very well
This is one of the best investments I have made when it comes to tools. Nice, compact saw that makes the job so much easier. Just today, chewed through 20 pieces of strut in just 5 minutes. Makes a really nice cut. Hard to beat that with anything.
Works well but there is a tab that has to be pushed before engaging the trigger. It's at a bad spot and you really have to stretch your hand to reach it. Very inconvenient. In hindsight I wish I would have gone with the dual trigger or the Dewalt.

Saw is great, blade is poorly welded

Easily, the most usable and convenient bandsaw I’ve ever used! The only downside was the poorly welded blade included with the saw. It’s still functions, but there is a definite hitch in the giddyup every time that part of the blade comes ‘round.
Really good tool. It cuts through 2” black iron pipe like butter and thats the hardest ill ever go on it. Its light enough to use one handed, though the dummy switch you need to press before the trigger is placed a little awkwardly in my opinion.
The M18 fuel compact band saw absolutely rocks. This is my favorite tool in my whole collection. Super fast and clean cuts and really lightweight. Awesome for using one handed and over head while installing pipe and hanger rods. Must have!!
Perfect size, and I don't need more batteries now. Compact to use, perfect for all my applications. It's not the big heavy duty one or the corded one, this is exactly what I need for home and work, to take care of my big and small jobs.
Excellent power, weight, and size. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. My only complaint is the awkward safety button -- it makes single handed use difficult. The safety design used on Milwaukee circular saws would have been preferred.
Wonderful portable bandsaw with plenty of torque to cut even the softest metals. I use mine to cut stainless, carbon steel, copper and even pvc pipe. Cuts stay straight and the balance of the tool makes it easy for repetitive cuts.
Great tool, cuts pipe like butter, very easy to handle and feels light, the only cons is that is hard to make a straight cut on pipe, I wish it had some kind bubble level to let you know your plumb, otherwise works as it should!
My guys really enjoy this compact bandsaw. They say it cuts thru strut and conduit faster than the previous non-fuel compact band saw. I gave it 4 stars only because I’m not a fan of how the motor sticks out on the left side.
The saw works great. We used it to strip hi voltage cable to terminate the ends. Very fast and light weight came in handy. Would definitely purchase again.We have around 12 of them in our fleet now and are going to add more.
It been really helpful and hasn’t give me any problems yet and I won’t expect it either. In the meantime I’m looking to buy m18 framing nailer however, I noticed the price went up on that product few weeks ago.
Thanks for not telling us what size blades actually fit these bandsaws. All you do is tell us how many teeth per inch but not the length you know the actual measurement that you need to replace the blade!

Great for electricians

It makes clean cuts on conduit. Rips through rebar like nothing. Only thing I don’t like is the safety button. It’s in a weird spot and I feel like I have to strain my thumb to hit the safety button.
I use this saw for cutting square tubing and conduit, The size and weight make it easy to use and it is impressive how fast it cuts with the blade that comes with it. I wish i had bought it sooner.
I use to cut aluminum tracks with a plastic lenz on them. Tool is precise and easy to use. The blade that comes with tool is way too coarse so I purchased a fine blade and it cuts like warm butter
Cuts right through anything with ease. The work light is perfectly placed to give a cut path with the shade line from the blade. This is now my go to for cutting anything under 3” in diameter.
