All in one unit

Small package and you get plenty out of it. Just want I needed on my toolbox for work. I get to charge my m12 batteries for my 3/8 ratchets and right angle impacts while also charging my phone or the red lithium batteries for the flashlights. Many things can be done all at once in one package.
I love this radio/ charger combo. This lost a star from me due to a few minor inconveniences. 1) When running off of the battery, the Screen light shuts off after 5 minutes, so you cannot see the time from a distance when this happens. 2) I would have preferred hooks instead of hanging this by passing a cable or cord through the handle, my usb cable would not fit, I tried to pass it through to Tuck away my cable.
Another minor annoyance is that when setting the time, after 5 seconds of inactivity it cancels the time set function, this was a small problem whenever I had to double check the time.
The sound ia great to me. You can play music, charge the M12 battery and use the usb port to charge your phone at the same time. You can store 5 Radio Preset channels. Hold Am/Fm to enter the Treble and Bass settings. Press AM/FM once in this mode to set the Bass.
Suggestions:
Add a cup on the bottom of the sides so you can leave your cellphone there . Add one key functionality
Great sound! cool radio on job site. Love Milwaukee, both 12 & 18 BUT have your engineers tackle removing the battery from the radio? There’s no way one can pinch both side of the battery… there’s just not enough space! Have to use pliers to switch the battery. Really! Very disappointed!

Bad quality?
il y a 11 mois
It’s honestly as super nice speaker for its size and the amount of battery life even at full volume. However mine will now not pair to my phone right away and randomly go into Bluetooth pairing mode anywhere from 2 mins- 1 hour after being turned on and manually put into Bluetooth mode.
A fantastic product, it's really loud I like very much. It's a small radio with a big sound. I would definitely recommend this. When I'm at work I wanna listen to the radio I can play it and I can hear it over all the racket in the background. Very convenient I can charge my battery.
Good and compact radio/speaker. My only issue with it is that when I turn it on, it automatically plays whatever I had played last, which can be annoying, especially since it does it even when taking my phone in and out of Bluetooth range despite not having it playing when I leave.
Got mine at a Christmas Party, I love how loud it is in the shop. How easy it is to use, just wish when you set the time it would stay set, once I turn it off for any amount of time with just the battery in it, it looses the time. Otherwise not a single thing I can complain about!
I use milwaukee everyday and tried a lot of radios. I'm seriously impressed with this one. Great volume for the jobsite, really good sound for a compact speaker, good radio reception. You would be hard pressed to find a better jobsite radio with these features at this price
I love my radio. It's my most used & favorite Milwaukee purchase. It has become an extension of my body, I don't go anywhere without it. It's a great size & it's got respectable volume for it's size. Only giving it 4 stars cause the Bluetooth range isn't as good as it could be.
This little thing packs a pretty good punch in a small package. The charging capability, and the wall AC power adapter are handy. The connection to Bluetooth is good. The only reason why its not 5 stars for me is because of some vibration/rattle with the bass during some songs.
Nice portable radio. Small size makes it easier to move around. We use it in our side by side on trail rides. Love that you do not have to use the AAA batteries, I have one of the M18 radios and it will stop working if the AAA batteries are dead - which is extremely annoying.
Radio sounds great, love the size of it. The problem I've had since day one is the presets do not work and the bass/treble does not adjust. Originally thought it was operator error but nope.
I've have had for few years now, so I do not know what my options are at this point.

Great sound in small package

Great radio…just not going to compete with the big bigger units for volume but compared to size this is worth the dollars. It will charge m12 batteries, has usb charging, is durable and has long run times off of a 3ah. Great unit, worth the price especially when on promo.
I use it all the time. Charges your batteries when it's plugged in, works off the battery if it isn't. It knows what it's supposed to be and stays in it's lane. Doesn't route your phone calls through it, and the sound it produces doesn't travel through walls/doors much.
The Bluetooth doesn’t work very well at all if your more then like 15 ft way from the radio. Just got it a few weeks ago and we’re doing a 20x60 deck and have it in the middle of the deck and it brakes up every time you walk away from the radio. I would not recommend it!
Love the new M12 radio. It is compact and dose not take alot of space. It is loud enough for just my self. The best part is I can listen to the radio for a while and then connect my phone. Before I was just using a small portable speaker. Difenantly an upgrade for me.
I have the m18 packout radio and it’s awesome
I can have the radio on the bottom and stack my packout drawers on top of it or most of the time I have my packout drawers on the bottom on top of the packout dolly and then the worktop it’s the perfect system for me
Great little Radio, very Portable, the little battery lasts quite a while. Love being able to listen to my favorite radio station (great reception) and my audiobooks (Bluetooth) while working. Closer to five stars, I just wish it came with a little remote.
Great for keeping my phone charged and also lasts all day with a 2amp battery.
Blue tooth is decent 30 foot range, could be better for range as I have a larger Bluetooth speaker that has 100 foot range. But his one can be moved around a lot easier.
Radio is great not quite as loud as I thought it would be but I didn’t expect it to be as loud as the m18 radio and the AAA batteries go in at an awkward spot but overall I love it especially how easy it connects to my phone when you turn it on
This little box is awesome! Sounds great and pairs through Bluetooth effortlessly. The fact that I can go from charging my M12 battery straight to using them to wirelessly powering the speaker is amazing. Perfect for in the shop or on the job!
OK sound, but nothing worth being excited about. Turn off your streaming devices EQ if applicable to reduce distortion.
No Play/Pause button is a deal breaker, though. I don't think I'll keep the radio simply for the lack of this function.

I love it it's a great little BBQ radio as a truck driver a bunch of is always most liked you on weekends for barbecue out add one small Beecher it don't have a bottle opener like the big brother radio happy LOL soda pop opener open are. LOL
This is my second unit.
Returned first one because Bluetooth might turn on 1out of 100 tries.
Replacement radio is the exact same way.
I can push on the button a thousand times and it never goes to Bluetooth mode.
Truly disappointed.

Great Radio!!

Great little radio, not too big or bulky. Doesn’t take up any space in my truck. I work solo most of the time and is plenty loud. Love that it has Bluetooth so I can play my jams. Runs all day in fact runs like 2 full days no problem.
Love this radio ! Works great while camping and I can bring the battery collection to keep it running …. Roughly a full day on my smallest battery. Love that I can recharge as well if genterator is running. Sound is OK. For what it is
I bought this radio because I set a lot of kitchen cabinets and wanted a smaller radio/speaker than my giant m-18 radio charger. The size is very convenient but the radio reception is not really that good and the sound is a bit tinny.
Bought this radio about a year ago now and use it pretty well daily. Super rugged and love the radio signal and Bluetooth option. Also nice that you can adjust the bass/treble on the speaker. Can’t wait to try the Bluetooth earbuds!
Awesome sound and now charges batteries, frees up space on my tool box because I can get rid of one of my m12 chargers and just keep the radio/charger out. Sound quality is great and this has am/fm on it too for local stations.
The quality is fantastic, It’s very durable. It’s pretty loud and keeps a good pitch no patches. The only problem I’ve had with it was that the battery didn’t want to come out at first so I had to loosen the screw a little bit.
