Rapid red and green battery maker!

Had this thing a couple of years my issue is that it drains the m12 battery, doesn’t matter which one 2,3,4, or 6. Leaves the battery inoperable, can’t and won’t charge, will get the flash of death, rapid green and red lights after a few seconds. At first I thought the batteries sucked, but it was always the radio zapping them. I’ve had to warranty several batteries because of issue and I will be submitting a 2023 marked battery. What I would liked to do is get an updated version that won’t drain the batteries. I can’t plug in the radio on remote locations. It can hold down paper from flying away. Now, time to submit another battery claim.

Good radio

Pretty happy so far. Pretty decent for a small speaker. Read the directions there is a way to adjust bass and Trebile which is nice. Bluetooth isn’t near as loud as the radio which is kind of common across all brands. Wish the volume keys were located differently or bigger than the radio tuner butttons. Every time I go to turn it up I change the station but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Overall a nice solid piece. I like you can charge you phone or Milwaukee battery with it plugged in or run off a battery. Also be nice if there was a spot to store the cord within or on the radio somehow.

Great but has an annoying flaw

Now let me start this off by saying i do like this a lot and it has nice sound and plenty loud. I like being able to adjust the bass/treble and having a radio plus being able to charge batteries is great. Now to the annoying part: the on off button rattles very loudly. I bought the speaker, heard the rattle and returned it. I bought another thinking it was defective. The second one did the exact same thing so i think it’s safe to assume it’s just a flaw. It’s not bad enough that i want to not keep it, but just annoying on a brand new expensive speaker. I’ve had 3 Milwaukee speakers and none of them did this. Maybe after some job site dust and dirt it will stop. If it wasn’t for that, would be 5 stars all day long.

Same crappy millwaukee radio new shape

The cord could have been designed better by a 4 year old.
I forgot I hated my m18 radio for only having 5 presets.
Well guess how many this one has.. ding ding ding. 5
Upright m18, crap Bluetooth, 5 presets. Fail.
Cpl different radios after had to pick Bluetooth or radio.
Then it jumps to 300 for m18 packout radio and Bluetooth and takes up 6 sq ft or tips over. Could be half pack like vacuum. Then this crap again. 5 presets... so anti technology. Also not cheap. Unless you shop miwaukees 40% price sales bmsm. B.s just a good price all the time. So many hoops

I've worked in the contracting industry for 10+ years, as a tool manager, union support, and now inside sales for HVAC/ R... Honestly, I'm impressed. Loud, light, easy to set it up anywhere it's needed and I love the handle! Haven't come across a negative feature about this product yet. Wasn't sure what to expect with an electronic product made by a tool brand. Purchased specifically for the radio + Bluetooth+ charging feature. Unmatched of it's kind, in my opinion. Especially for the price. It's a fantastic speaker for the pool, not worried about it getting wet. In the garage or shop, I can trust it won't decline in quality with it's durability. Oh & the sound quality is adjustable to preference which is was an unexpected bonus! Great product, Milwaukee!

It's ok, not great, not bad, just ok. Sound is decent at lower volumes but gets rough when turned up. Volume doesn't go particularly high. Not much base. Nice compact unit, hanging option is easy to use and very handy, however, the plug socket and usb port are directly on the back making it dificult to have anything plugged in while it is hanging. They should of put these ports in the m12 battery space on the bottom. Connecting to my phone was easy and works well. Controls are easy to use. Radio reception is surprisingly good.

Solid investment for my shop

An excellent addition to our Milwaukee collection. Pairs easily with our iPhones, which utilizes the Bluetooth capability.
Mainly purchased because it also offers a great AMFM option which is amazing for our area and needs. Easy to connect, and great reception. Sound is probably better than can be expected, and I have to mention how easy it is to transport this small yet powerful addition to our collection.
Good price point, just make sure you are using the M 12 batteries, or you will need to add those to your arsenal

Milwaukee M12 Radio - So-so

The unit has good Bluetooth connection and rapid connecting for decent sound but does have limited range through walls if you walk away with your phone in your pocket. The volume level that comes out of the unit is not as loud as I expected, especially compared to the M18 radios which I own. At max volume, the speaker struggles especially with base and deeper sounds. The sound lacks depth even when compared to other single speaker Bluetooth speakers, a characteristic all the Milwaukee radios have. I have yet to drop test the radio but I think it would hold up well enough from a reasonable fall. I do like that it uses the M12 batteries which I have an abundance of and also comes with a power cord for 120v outlets and serves as a charger for batteries, a nice feature.
