This grease gun makes lubrication a breeze. We usually go through about three cases of grease per year with a piston style grease gun. I don't want to have to go back to pumping manually, especially on those cold harvest mornings. This is a quality tool sitting in my tool box right next to my 2763-22 1/2" high torque impact. The only thing I could ask for on the next generation is a fuel series brushless motor and a shoulder strap that is better quality. My shoulder strap broke and I have yet to try to warranty the strap. Buy this product, you will not be disappointed by its performance. Milwaukee makes some of the best cordless tool available.

I bought this grease gun at the end of the mowing season thinking it would save my wrist v/s pumping the manual gun. It seemed to do the job the couple times I used it in 50 deg+ temp. At 29 degrees it does not work. I needed to grease something that was sticking in 29deg weather normally to get it working it takes 2 pumps with a manual grease gun. I hit that fitting with the Milwaukee gun 4 times (it was set at 10 pumps per pull). I thought the grease tube was empty.... It was not... New tube, new battery, will not pump. I loaded my old broke grease gun with a tube and 2 pumps the fitting was oozing grease. Do not buy unless your in Florida don't buy.

I have used countless different grease guns over decades and this one is the absolute best!!!!! I've used a dozen different makes of manual guns, lots of different air powered and 3 different Battery powered guns and this one is simply the best. ease of use lots of pressure and power tough simple to use no air locks I despise wasting grease and I hate the chore of greasing my logging machines and if I waste grease with this gun it is my fault not the gun. This gun it worth every penny I paid for it. DO NOT BUY ANOTHER MAKE!!!! BUY THIS GUN!!!!! PS: you trades list doesn't include forestry/logging so since I do most of the work myself I checked the DIY box

I am a heavy truck mechanic, My shop calibrates our grease guns to make sure they meet our standards. we require a grease gun to be able to push grease at 5,000 psi, and push 5oz of grease in 30 seconds. Milwaukee claims on the box that it can push 10,000 psi and put out 10oz of grease in 60 seconds. I have even tested the 10oz in 60 seconds, I only got 5oz. Not only does it fail to meet my company’s standards for use, it fails to meet the standards listed on the box. However it is still a very good grease gun. But I can not use it where I work, witch it what I purchased it for.

Initially I was not impressed. When I went to put a grease tube in the barrel the first time, I pulled the piston back and unscrewed the back of the barrel and the rubber diaphragm on the piston rod had folded over on itself and would not fit inside the grease tube. I had to unfold that diaphragm so it would fit, which proved to be rather difficult as I had to release the piston rod from its safety catch on the end of the barrel and then fight the spring to get the diaphragm folded back over itself into the correct position. Once I accomplished all that and got it put back together the gun itself works pretty well. Hopefully that doesn't happen again because it makes the process of putting a new grease tube in take about half an hour.

Having trouble getting gun to prime new grease tube, end up messing around with it longer than a hand pump should do. Battery life is not that good only got one grease job on truck and trailer. I bought this to save time out over the road and ensure my truck gets greased properly. This grease gun looks amazing has a good long hose on it to help make the job easier but all that to end up not getting it finished because I end up frustrated when I change out for a new tube of grease, this is super frustrating when you look at how much it costs!

Overall M18 is a great product, like the fact that it comes with a case this is why i gave it a 4star instead of a 5 star. Now for the last star rating, i had a very hard time taking off the factory coupler at the end to replace it with a lock-n-lube. But the main thing is i wish they would design the case to accommodate the grease gun with a new full grease tube inserted. Because you can not use the case at all after a new tube is inserted! Would be nice to be able to utilize the case with the grease gun. Just for future design thought!

The grease gun is excellent at distributing product evenly and fast. Grease tube replacement is simple. The only reason I gave it 4 out 5 of stars is because the hose tip that snaps onto the grease fitting is very tight. My staff have ripped multiple grease zerks out of motor which had to be re-tapped. If the motor has a housing plate that will not allow the hose tip to be tilted sideways for removal, it is very hard to pull it straight off. Im sure it will break in over time but besides that, its a great tool and I would buy it again.
