Perceuse à percussion compacte sans fil M18 18 V , 1/2" (outil seul)

I have had this a couple of years purchased wit a hammer Drill. I have used this drill very little up until a month ago when I replaced my Deck which is a bout half finished. I used a small Bosch Drill for most of the work but I have almost worn the batteries out so I started using the Milwaukee. Suddenly when the screw is almost in and the most power is needed it appears the Gear Box is stripped from the noise and no more drilling. It will still drill when low torque is needed but beyond that it will not work. I consider this to have been a very poor investment, shouldn't have deteriorated in the case 90% of the time. I considered purchasing a new gear box but way too expensive. Very poor investment.

Lo compré para usarlo en mi casa para cosas muy domésticas. Se me ha hecho muy fácil usarlo, me gusta el que no tenga llave para apretar las brocas, sino que su sistema hace que con un click girandolo, queden muy bien sujetas. Le he usado para hacer perforaciones pequeñas y super fácil y rápido, y la batería pequeña me ha alcanzado hasta para 25-30 perforaciones fáciles. Solo una vez lo ocupé para hacer una perforación en un material muy fuerte y estaba bastante profundo y sí me terminé la batería. Pero lo recomiendo si quieres algo super sobrado para el hogar

I bought a Milwaukee Magnum corded drill 30 years ago and it is practically like new, but needed a decent impact for portability. This drill is amazing, really cant believe how rugged it is and what it is capable of. A VERY powerful and well build drill. It comes with a belt clip but would be nice if there was some easy way to hang it on a 2x4 beam. Some type of hanger accessory would be pretty handy. Couldn't be happier this drill is definitely the best I have ever used. Just sayin -

Bought this drill late 2017 and it functioned well for 2 years. Last year plastic bits started flying out the rear vent. Best i can figure is that the cooling fan disintegrated. Went to use it again last week and the chuck seized on me. Tried lubing it but it is not budging past the halfway point. I have tons of Milwaukee tools, some going strong after 13 years and three house renos. This tool is not made of the same stuff. Hopefully Milwaukee stand behind their warranty.

This hammer drill goes right to it as soon as it hits the concrete you better be ready cause here it comes with the variable like trigger you can get it marked and drill right into the concrete almost as easy as wood with a auger. I recommend this drill for anyone in the trade industry fast effective ready when you are just mark the hole, pull trigger and hang on. I have an older M18 1/2" Hammer Drill/Driver (~2010) and a 2018 model. The 2010 unit still works flawlessly, but they made a change to the motor or gearing in the newer units that cause the motor to snap to a stop immediately when you let go of the trigger. The net effect is that this sudden stopping of the rotation causes the chuck to loosen and the drill bit falls out after a dozen or so stops. I’ve tried reefing on the chuck with gloves to tighten it before drilling, but it still loosens after a number of start-stop cycles. I explained the issue to the local Milwaukee service center, and they replaced the chuck, but the problem persists. The rotational inertia in the chuck is enough to undo it given that the motor snaps to a stop so suddenly. It’s bad enough that I’ve stopped using the drill, and I definitely wouldn’t buy another unless they went back to the motor/gearing design of the older 2607 drill.

After about 3 to 4 weeks started to smell odd then I looked at it when I use the drill on setting two and hold it wide open it’s sparks slightly but when I let go and the motor clunks to ramp down it lets out a large spark and smokes after about 20 seconds of use. The drill still operates but it’s bound to catch on fire shortly!
