My 1st m18 tool

It has no brake but spins faster then corded grinders I have used in the past. Built some iron work for my daughter and with 1 4ah and 2 5ah batteries plus a rapid charger was able complete the job without waiting for batteries to charge
This is the perfect grinder for my needs - lightweight, portable, versatile. Whatever material I'm digging in to, this tool has my back. You can tell Milwaukee paid attention on the design here, because this grinder checks all the boxes.
Great grinder plenty of power I like the mobility would recommend this grinder to anyone cordless is the way to go All around a great grinder you can take it anywhere I like the flexibility of the size of the size of the grinding wheels
Work realy well, power is good for the size. My favorite part is the handles, she’s really confortable. The balance of the tool is better when you use h-o batteries. Realy happy of my tool and it’s a good addition of my tool collection.
It is quite light and does not weigh much, it fulfills its cutting function. I had to cut a fairly large 16x12 beam and even though it helped me with the zawzall it helped me cut a part that was getting in the way. very useful the truth
I like the power and paddle trigger but the guard is sometimes in the way. there are not enough positions to move it to for some application. over all well pleased. I would purchase another any day. it is a better grinder than Dewalt.
Simply I loved it. The first time I used it was to cut an aluminum plate in a recycling center, at no time did I feel that it reduced its strength or had difficulties cutting (with a grinding disc). It is simply an excellent tool.
Nice tool, but eats through batteries real quick while getting them toasty hot. Too hot to recharge for a bit. However, this beats a corded tool any day. Additionally, I’ve never had a grinder with a stop. That is a sweet addition.
What a beast of a grinder. Now it will chew through batteries but, with a couple batteries and no cord performing remote work is possible. It is so nice not having to lug around generators and extension cords to get a job done!
The paddle switch stopped working after 20 Minutes of lights use cutting aluminum L Chanel. Sent product in for warranty. Entire grinder was replace. I docked a star for QC QA Dropping the ball.
The new grinder works great.
A great tool to add to the M18 line, I’ve used corded grinders and I have to say this matches longevity and strength to cut. I’ve used it to cut rebar as well as for automotive purposes such as cutting studs and into the frame.
While the grinder is a great addition to my Milwaukee tool arsonal. The biggest drawback is the lack of a dynamic braking system. Other than that downfall it is a great grinder and makes short work of the targeted project need.

This is my second one. My first one lasted over four years. And was use almost every day. If it was grinding, cutting or wire wheeling. The most handiest tool for a service truck. Along with Milwaukee drills, impacks, ratchets.
Definitely works well, would’ve liked it to have less plastic like for example the trigger, it feels like if I drop it once the trigger would break, or some other component, other than that it works well and gets the job done
Great tool to have on the work truck! Love the Brushless Motor, but only time will tell! I've had my Dewalt 18v. grinder for 14yrs and had no issues. This just completed my transition to all Milwaukee tools on my work truck!
Smooth with plenty of power the weight feels nice and balanced.You can get good use out of one battery
Cons- I wish there was a couple more Dee tents on the adjustable guard and a third thread Mount on top for the handle.
I am left handed and this grinder allows complete movement of the guard and handle, without tools, to accommodate its use. Lots of power and no lock handle is perfect for grinding in difficult areas without locking it "on".
Exceptional tool. This grinder is used daily as I am in the elevating device trade. We are always cutting steel and grinding nails and anchors. Lots of fabrication involving grinding. Long lasting even using 5 hr batteries.
Very impressed with the ergonomics of this grinder. While using a 5 amp hour battery it feels very well balanced.
Wish the instructional booklet was a little more clear and straightforward especially for more novice users.
I bought this thinking I would qualify for the special that stated if you buy a 5.0 A battery you get any tool for free. But this tool was not included in that offering. I’m happy with the tool but not the bait and switch.
Does great with cutoff wheels, struggles a bit with a 4 1/2 grinder wheel. Great for field work for making cuts or grinding when corded tools aren’t an option. Runs through a 5ah battery in about 15 minutes of normal use.
The 11amp m12 fuel cordless grinder is a perfect edition to my arsenal. No more cords for a quick cut. Nice strong power band. And the rapid stop is great for safety and overall time saving by not waiting to put it down.
Plenty of torque and fairly easy on battery use. I used it to cut body panels of an older chevy truck with a 4 1/2 cut off wheel and it ripped right through them with no bogging down. Very impressive for a cordless tool.
This is my first cordless grinder, most of the time, I am near the work shop, or I towed a generator with me; so I'm loving the freedom the cordless cut-off provides, and the ease of use and light weight of the product.
I love it. I had a previous generation for years that finally kicked it. After I got this I didn't realize how much nicer it is. The instant stop, start, the easy position guard, love the paddle switch. Plenty of power.
This has to be one of the most used tools in my bag when I am working on a project. You can get some pretty wild cuts done anywhere. Would highly recommend this tool to anyone who doesn't have one in their collection.
Working perfectly. Only one point off due to the fact that is not possible to attach any accessory at the shaft level. The mechanism for the blade protection doesn't allow to attach any king of generic dust collector
Replaced a corded Milwaukee 4 1/2 Grinder that served me well, with this beast. Couldn't be happier, it seems quieter, is cordless so I can take it places I wouldn't dream of before. Wish I would of upgraded sooner!
Functions exactly as advertised. I've had corded angle grinders for years and this one has doubled the uses. The power seems to match my corded Dewalt pretty much evenly. Can't believe I waited this long to get one.
Great little grinder to carry with a couple HO batteries up on a scaffold when welding pipe or or prepping small pipe for welds. I have both brush and brushless and both are great. They eat batteries but work great
