This is a great bit that should last a while saving you money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 1/4" Shockwave Carbide Multi-Material drill bit doesn't live up to its name. It drills thru wood & sheetrock fine. But don't try it with anything harder, unless you want to be drilling that hole all day. Tile, nope. Metal, nope. So if you're looking for drill bit to cut either of those don't get it. But for wood & sheetrock, sure.

It starts quickly with no moving around and going off center of the intended position. I hammer-drill mode, it goes through concrete very easily. Great for drilling for plugs in masonry.

I read the Required hammer drill settings and I said it in after like the fourth hole the tip broke Which is kind of disappointing since Milwaukee makes good tools And not long lasting drill bits for small duty jobs which requires hammer drill settings

I’m single and having a home i attempt to fix small things myself. I try to buy quality tools and this drill bit does reflect that.

Could not drill 1 complete hole in concrete floor before the bit wore out (see pic). The 3/8 bit worked fine on dozen other holes but this 1/2 did not. Appears to be a defect. Like to get a free replacement
