Useful for us
il y a un an
I use this speaker around my house while I complete projects. We also use it at our pool and backyard when we are spending leisure time with family. The speaker sound is just enough for our needs, the fact that it takes m18 or m12 batteries is very convenient. The sound is loud enough to be pleasant without overbearing. We’ve taken it to the beach and the battery life has not been an issue, it comes with a power cord if you need it and you can charge your phone from the speaker as well.
Bought this speaker about 2 weeks ago. I was wondering how long the run time is suppose to be with various size batteries....5amp lasted 2 days, 4amp lasted 12 hours, 9amp lasted 4.5 days then again with 9amp only lasted 2 days. Since there seems to be a variation in run time, I would like to know what exactly can I expect. The volume was mostly at maximum using Bluetooth. Also, had some sounds like music was skipping, this was not caused by phone via Bluetooth.
This speaker flat out is awesome! It has rich tone, clear voice, crisp notes with some bass. I did not know Milwaukee has what it takes to add some music to the job site. But once I turned it on, connected the bluetooth, and cranked up the volume instantly my job sites are now soooo much more productive. Thank you Milwaukee for being the best tools in the toolbox. Milwaukee thought of it all. You can use the USB port to charge your phone while streaming music. You can run this speaker on the same battery that powers all of your other tools. M12 or M18. YES IT ACCEPTS BOTH BATTERIES. No matter which platform you have this speaker will work for you. It also has an AC charger so if your near a power source you can save your battery. If you are even thinking about buying this speaker, think no more! Go buy it and thank me later!

This thing is a beast for as small as it is!

Whoever did the DSP (Digital Signal Processor) is a genius right along with the rest of the designers of this speaker. Anyone that wrote a negative review doesn't know what DSP means or how bass reflection works. They just want to be hateful. It's plenty loud enough for its size and best of all it sounds awesome. BTW I bought this as a display unit and quite literally punted it across my driveway with my high demand 9.0 battery and both work perfectly fine.
I have an iPhone 7 and the bluetooth in my stock truck audio system works flawlessly every time I start my truck. This radio is one of multiple M18/M12 tools we recently purchased for our business. Unfortunately this radio is useless to us because it will not connect or play music from an iPhone. It will pair, just won’t reliably connect. It should auto connect or at the very most, connect upon pushing the Bluetooth button on the radio.

Great jobsite speaker
il y a 4 ans
Works as described. I was looking at another Bluetooth speaker but decided to go with this to compliment my Milwaukee tools. Sounds pretty good but wish it had a little more bass but otherwise sound clarity is pretty decent. My only complaint so far is I’m having difficulty removing the 2.0 12v battery from the speaker. My question also is when plugged into a/c does it charge the 12 or 18v battery that’s plugged into it?
I've owned this speaker for a few months now and it's worked great. It's pretty loud and sounds perfect. But when it comes to songs with awesome bass (Songs that have a really loud drop) it starts having fuzziness if you have it on the highest volume. If you have it just 2 ticks under the highest it'll play 90% of my songs fine. Otherwise battery life is great (Using a m12 6.0) Really only charged the battery twice so far. I'm sure if I used it with a m18 battery it'd last even longer. The speaker has a perfect handle to carry it around and storing it is pretty easy. Next time I see the m12 Bluetooth radio with am/fm I'll definitely be buying that to give a review on. Something to note is im just a regular diyer that basically does a little bit of everything.Otherwise I'll definitely recommend this speaker to anyone that's in the tool line or even wants to start out.
Bought this speaker less than a week ago. Mainly for camping, fishing and general outdoor use. Used it this past weekend while working on my snowblower. It was -8C and it held up in the cold with a light wind and the sound quality is great. The battery on my phone went out before the M12 battery on the speaker. I'm impressed with the build of the speaker look forward to many uses in the coming outdoor season.
I had bought this yesterday for my garage. The Pros are: It is a great design, lasts forever on a battery, and compact, Cons cant use with any music with bass or distorts, even with a EQ app speaker distorts. would like to try a different set up and see how it compares. my garage is all set up with only Milwaukee tools so I wanted a speaker to fit in. would like a different Milwaukee stereo.
My wife bought one and at first I loved it....did everything I needed.now it's useless... when I try to power it up the power light flashes 1 time and that's all....thought maybe the power cord so I tried using 3 different batteries that I know are good because I use them daily on other tools. Love Milwaukee but the speaker doesn't live up to the Milwaukee standard in my opinion

Solid but a tad disappointing
il y a 6 mois
Although I appreciate the various ways to keep it powered I found the non-charging aspect a tad disappointing. Also, the bass is not adjustable and I find it to be too high. The volume tops out but isn’t loud enough in a warehouse with running machines. I got it for a decent price and it runs perfectly as it is built to be. Just wish I could adjust a few things more.
Way too big, only one handle to move it around. Would think Milwaukee would put some rubber protection where the radio sits. Eats batteries super fast ( even 5 amps ). No play/stop button to skip/pause songs. Sound is very poor and distorted when put to the max. Way too expensive for what it is. Registered the tool to get only annoying emails, never win any contest.
This is an okay speaker, as long as you don’t want depth of sound and if you don’t try to use it more than 20 feet away from your phone (Bluetooth). It doesn’t get very loud, sounds very sharp, and overall just falls way short for a Milwaukee product. I’ve since upgraded to the packout stereo and that one gets 5 stars! (Although it’s very heavy )
I love Milwaukee I have Milwaukee everything for my tools. I got this speaker and I've had nothing but problems with it I'm sure this is a fluke and just needs to be factory replaced. But I cannot get the Bluetooth to stay connected to any device and once it does connect it is choppy in and out and then it finally kicks Bluetooth out

Really great sound but missing features
il y a 3 ans
Speaker sounds amazing and is plenty loud but I really wish it had skip/play/pause buttons on it. Cheaper speakers I have used have these and I'm bummed this doesn't. My hands aren't always clean enough or available while I'm working to dig my phone out of my pocket to control my music. Would be a perfect 5 out of 5 if it had these.
I have only one complaint with the poor Wi-Fi it's so weak even with my phone being on top of the speaker it plays weakly and the volume goes up and down to the point where you can't even hear it, I have to use the pin to pin to keep the sound even. It sucks. Other than that I think it's great and I'm happy with the speaker.
Excellent sound that carries very well. Absolutely would have been the best job site radio/speaker value out there, however, as others have mentioned, bluetooth repeatedly disconnects. I confirmed by trying multiple devices on the speaker and other bluetooth stereos. The Milwaukee speaker is unfortunately the culprit.

Batteries
il y a 3 ans
It’s a really great speaker and pretty much what most people would want other then not being advised that ( battery) not included or something if you pay extra people being aware of the purchase they make always wanna know exactly if it’s what’s they want or need extra when purchasing the product the first time
I saw another contractor with one and asked him how he liked it. After his raving review i went out and purchased one.
Great sound, good volume, excellent versatility with the 2 battery options plus a dc adapter if you wish to plug it in. Small enough not to be in the way or difficult to store somewhere.
Love this radio. Do wish they had a smaller option for the m18 stuff but overall i like it. For a job site radio is sounds pretty good. Charges my phone faster than anything I’ve ever used. The Bluetooth stays connected well even being far away through walls. Would be next level if it charged batteries too.
Sounds fantastic! Contrary to what some reviews on other sites say this unit has some great bass and it is the clearest sound I have ever heard from a speaker system. I love that you can use M18 or M12 batteries. The unit feels very rugged. I would not be afraid to throw it in the back of the pickup and go.
Amazing how you can use a m12, m18 or plug it into an outlet to use this Bluetooth speaker! Sounds great for it’s wattage and size and fills the room, shop, work space, even outside BBQ’s and family gatherings! As a forklift engineer, this gets brought with me everywhere I go without a doubt !
Looks tough, looks loud but, it's meh. I hated it this looks like it should be good considering the size i expected a good amplifier built in with all that room. Don't buy it Dave the money and get a JBL for a better price and huge sound. I did like the ability to cvlharge my phone though.

Bluetooth issues
il y a 4 ans
Bought the speaker and was immediately impressed. Sound was spectacular and a very tough speaker.. good for the job site! Till the Bluetooth stopped working. Now the Bluetooth won’t even cut on.. but the AUX works fine.. just nice to have a Bluetooth speaker that actually can Bluetooth..
Have several Milwaukee tools but I had one dealt speaker so I got rid of it to use the same battery platform and it was about half the size but just as loud. wasn't as tough but had all the same options and was easier to carry around in the truck. Other than the size its a great product
Speaker initially worked great but now it wont stay on and if it does stay on the bluetooth wont stay connected. Speaker is not even a year old yet. Havent heard a response back from Milwaukee and cant get in touch with them. Little disappointed since I constantly buy their products
Hi Mac15 - we are sorry to hear about your experience. Someone from our team will follow up with you via email and help get you connected with customer service.

Lost bluetooth connection.
il y a 3 ans
I have used the speaker for about 8 months. The first thing I lost was the loudness of the
speaker. The next I lost was the bluetooth connection. If I use a different speaker at the
same location my phone connection works fine. Also it is about half as loud as it use to be.

I purchased the speaker on Feb. 20, 2021. On Apr. 29, 2021 the speaker stopped working. It won’t power on, connect via Bluetooth., nothing. Trying to get a response from Milwaukee on what could be done. Prior to it stop working, it’s been a great speaker to listen to music.
