M18 Fuel Combo Set

I have other brands of tools but recently had a friend help me drill holes in concrete using Milwaukee M18 1/2” drive chuck drill/hammer and could not believe the speed and ease it accomplished the task. I was so impressed I purchased the Fuel M18 combo kit with 1/2” hammer drill and 1/4” impact driver and could not be happier. The tools are well balanced, lightweight, and compact in size. Fantastic battery life and just all around a great set of tools.

Very impressive power and quality! The Drill is unmatched compared to any other drill that I have used, power wise performance wise and features. Will do any job you give it! The impact is equally as amazing. With the three different speed modes and screw mode you are sure to have the options you need for any task. I absolutely love both of them and plan on buying another set shortly. The quality is not easily matched by other brands! Highly recommend

Best Hammer Drill & Driver Set

Picked this hammer drill and driver set up to replace an older set I had by another manufacturer. So far the set has lived up to my expectations. There is plenty of power in both pieces to get any job done. Battery life is good with the supplied 5ah batteries. But I have a couple of 6ah and 8ah batteries that I have been using with them primarily. I would definitely recommend this set. Especially when they have free battery or free tool add ons.

From rigid to Milwaukee

I’ve had my Rigid power tools for years and when I started to notice that distinct smell coming from them I knew it was time. I watched a lot of videos and talked to tradesmen before making a purchase. My first impression of the kit was that they were a lot smaller than what I was using before however, they were a world of difference. The drill alone was worth the money. The features, usability, and durability is unmatched by any tool brand out there.

I've used a number of different brands of powertools throughout the last two decades. I've never owned Milwaukee tool before now, though I have had opportunities to borrow them from friends. I'm so glad that I finally bought my own set. Unfortnately, having my personal tools stolen from my truck led me to make this purchase. It is now time to rebuild my set of tools with Milwaukee. Thank you for making such a great tools that are strong and reliable.

Better than the rest

I used to be a Dewalt tool guy. After going to a place of employment that only uses Milwaukee brand tools, I come to like them A LOT better. They have more power in the M18 than the 20v Dewalt tools I own. Milwaukee is stting the standard for cordless power tools in my opinion. Heck, setting the standard in cordless anything. Can't wait to have my Dewalt, Kobalt, and Bosch tools replaced, eventually. Love all the Milwaukee tools that we use at work.

Wrist Saver and great lighting.

This is a wrist saver, and you can see what you are doing. I purchased this to replace my three-year-old 2 tool combo that i gifted to my son when he moved out last month. Of course, he asked for my assistance with installing a security system in his new house so i had a chance to try out the new drill. I had to drill several holes to route the security camera cable and this hammer drill rocks. The first hole was straight forward, and then the next two hit embedded nails with a spade bit. This is one of the few times where my hand did not get smashed and my wrist put through a workout, when I encountered the embed nails, but it just stopped and then I reset and continued on. As for the impact driver it now has three LEDs so I can see up under the eaves when mounting the cameras. Highly recommed taking a look at these, they do rock.

Cordless impact and hammer drill 18 volt

The best cordless tools i have used. Well worth the price. They are very well balanced even with bigger batteries unlike other tools i have used. The batteries last quit a long time which saves me from having to always charge them up while duing a job. Mine has different settings that come work great when putting screws into soft wood and it makes it easier to control how far the screws go in. I think everyone in construction so give them a try.

Best hammer drill, impact driver set I’ve ever owned. I had the older set that I purchased 5 years ago but gave it to a friend and it still working well. This drill and impact driver definitely has more power and torque than the older model and a few new features not available on the older model. Milwaukee is definitely worth the money up front, and saves you money in the long run. Milwaukee has a loyal life long customer due to their quality!

Powerhouse paring of tools!

What an amazing bundle.
This drill has serious power. And when paired with the anti-kickback feature, it allows you to push its limits without worry of twisting your wrist 360 degrees. The impact gun is very light and comfortable. The 4 speeds are a game changer. Speed 1 is perfect for lighter jobs where traditional impacts would send a screw though a board before you realized what was happening. Another great couple products from Milwaukee.

After 20+ years using another brand I switched

I’ve been using the yellow/black brand for years with good results. However, when I was ready for a new hammer drill and impact driver I didn’t like the quality of their new products. I looked at a lot of reviews of both Milwaukee and the yellow/black brands and I spoke with my son-in-law who has a heating and air conditioning business and uses only Milwaukee. I decided to go with Milwaukee and so far I’m very happy with the quality.

Milwaukee has impressed time and time again with the quality of their tools and their impressive warranty is always a big factor as well. Quality, performance and with a warranty like their to top it off, you can never go wrong buting a Milwaukee product. I'm sure to buy more in the future. I wish i could get their heated jacket to beat the cold sense I work outside, that thing is amazing. A couple of my crew have it and im jealous.

Very good drill driver combo. Free extra 5 ah battery was a definite plus. My old porter cable 20 v was a good drill driver for several years but it was definitely overdue to upgrade. This has plenty of power to get the job done and then some. I've barely scratched the surface with the use of these. I was told that the drill has an auto shut off if it kicks back while running the drill. Nice touch Milwaukee. Definitely recommend.

One of the best drill impact combos out!! Drill is great and the clutch is so much better than the previous gen which wasn’t very sensitive. Impact is very small and still has all the power. Only downside to the impact is being so short, when you have a high output battery installed you need to run a longer bit. A 2” doesn’t quite extend past the front of the battery. Other than that they are great tools and i enjoy using them!!

Drill works great for 8 inch ice auger.

I bought this because i needed the drill to run my 8 inch ice auger, super impressed by its torque. I used the 5amh battery and drilled through over 300 inches of ice and still had 2 bars remaining at the end of the day. With the new auto stop feature i feel at ease knowing that if it bites it won't rip my arm out. The impact i haven't used much but from the dozen or so 3 inch deck screws I've used it seems extremely powerful.

I recently purchased this new kit as an upgrade to my non hammer drill version brushed version. I have used it on a few job's so far and I am very impressed with the upgrade in torque and use per charge in regards to battery juice. I rally like the peace of mind of the new auto stop feature in regards to the drill getting fetched up on something. I also work with metal and I previously wasn't too impressed with the chuck not being able to grab tight enough to drill bits and marking the shank on my bits. So far I am pleased to see that there has been an upgrade on the chuck, so far I haven't noticed this happening. I am also pleased with the more compact size of each tool, I can see them being friendlier working in tight spaces. My only gripe would be that the Milwaukee don't have the same life time warranty that Rigid does. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

M18 Fuel Drill Review

I found the M18 1/2" drill to be packed with power and able to hammer drill into concrete with ease. The tool has great ergonomics and balance and is robust enough to withstand a drop from several feet. Overall, it is a well designed and built drill. While the handle accessory is a bit time consuming to assemble and install, it holds the drill securely; perhaps the only drawback is that it can be used in only two positions.

I was skeptical at first to see how much better Milwaukee could really be compared to competitors but as soon as i put both the drill and impact to the test, i was immediately impressed. These are both a very good weight, very good battery life, super detail oriented, super easy to use. The speed of these things sets far above competitors, it helps alot to not have to fight your tools when fastening or drilling. 11/10

Love my Milwaukee

Kit works as expected and the case is durable if utilized! One question/suggestion I have is why the case isn’t packout compatible. My years in the HVAC industry has never included the use of the original case my portable drills came in as they are cumbersome and end up in storage, but if they were packout ready maybe these cases would be utilized more and my drills, chargers and batteries would have a proper home :)

Impact Driver

Really enjoying the 3 settings on the impact driver. Being able to dial the tool back with these settings along with the trigger control makes for very smooth easy operation. Also the lighting rather than shining up from the base of the tool its right where the bits attach. Lots of times Im using my second had to stabilize the tool at the bottom and with the lights being up top now i never lose light while working.

The drill/driver impact set is very powerful. The one feature that needs addressing is the high/low speed switch that gets caught in between gears when the drill rotates and makes contact with the speed setting. At first I had no idea what was wrong. All I heard when I pulled the trigger was gear noise. I wasn’t able to get the bit backed out being in between gears. Very frustrating not knowing what was happening.

Milwaukee M12 hammer drill/driver and impact drive

So, I had actually bought the M12 version of this kit so I think there’s some confusion.
As far as the M12 version, I can say that it packs way more punch than I expected. The first task I gave the M12 hammer drill/driver was a 1/2” hole in 1/4” steel and it breezed through the task. Lots of torque.. haven’t used the impact yet but if it’s got power like the driver it’ll cover any tasks I have planned for it

Very pleased by the abilities, and performance of both the drill, driver, hammer drill, as well as the impact driver. The battery life is truly impressive. My only disappointment, and reason for not giving five stars, is the length of time it takes to charge the batteries. It forced me to buy two extra batteries, and a dual charger. Something I never needed for my last setup from a different manufacturer.

Perfect set for all applications

This is the perfect kit for virtually all your drilling/driving needs. The tools are extremely powerful, especially when combined with the 5 amp batteries. The driver is compact and the lights around the collet are a brilliant feature that I find very useful. The drill locks tightly around bits and the hammer feature is easy to use if needed, particularly when combined with the optional removable handle.

Super Powerful M18 Fuel Kombo kit

Highly Recommended.. Super powerful M18 fuel that makes difference from Milwaukee Tool, during working with multi materials.
But I would prefer 2 (XC 8.0) batteries High Output with the Combo kit specifically for ProMax contractors, because it works much better as performance for long time hard workers.
Or at least 2 batteries of XC 5.0 High Output.

Milwaukee Mic Drops Again!!!

The Gen 4's are amazing! Everything has improved. The impact is a mic drop to the competition. As for the Hammer drill.
...... Holy crap the difference! From chewing up slabs, to auto stop. Highly pleased with its performance. I am concerned about how hot it gets. Time will tell. My Gen 3's have made me alot of money as a contractor. They now get to rest as the Gen 4's easily retired them.

Milwaukee 2904-20 drill + 2953-20 driver

Only had this set for 2 weeks but used it lots to build a 38 foot wheelchair ramp. I screw all my projects with 3 inch coated deck screws into treated lumber. Very powerful drill and impact driver. The anti kickback works great when drilling concrete or using hole saws. Seems like an upgrade to the blue brand set that wore out. We will see how the waukees perform with more use. So far, I like them.

Two Weeks with Hammer Drill/Impact Combo

I bought this gen4 combo kit 15 days ago, so far so good. The auto-stop feature on the hammer drill can be turned off and on, instructions in manual. Both are very powerful and seem to be quality built. The carry case is very convenient and nice for keeping tools clean and protected. Both do not have any sort of but holder but one can be purchased separately. Looking forward to continue using them!

Amazing Set for a great deal!!

I have been using the brushless sets for a couple of years now and finally upgraded to the M18 FUEL set, I love the case that it comes with it’ll be great for keeping my tools clean and protected. I do contractor maintenance so I end up in all kinds of scenarios that get my tools dirty and can be rough on them. But if these hold up to the standard brushless sets I have nothing to worry about!!
