All the drilling drive all in one package

Nice set and carrying case with 2 battery’s that last all day it has everything you need for drill steel to concrete to wood with not worrying about snapping your wrist ruining your day with the auto stop the hammering mode really get quick work done with concrete the impact driver delivers a punch on lag bolts and tapcon fasteners only thing I wish it had was 6ah battery’s and rapid charger ether then that it’s a big upgrade from the first generation hammer drill and impact nice case that I wish had a little more room for Milwaukee drill bits and drivers cases
Speed and power. I've been using the drill to cut holes in studs for running cable. The hole saw is moving so fast the wood starts smoking. I don't know if the battery lasts as long as my old Bosch and the Bosch had fewer amp hours. It finally died after being used for too much concrete drilling.
I have not had an impact driver before. It will take some getting used to. It somehow drills a screw in so fast it pushes the first piece away from the second piece and then they won't pull together. I imagine I just need to practice some and it'll be better.
Had this new 1/2” hammer drill for three days now and all I can say is WOW!!! The size to fit in tight spaces are spot on! The weight of the drill is great for all day usability!! The auto stop is a must have with today’s drills IF you want to continue your career or everyday life with both wrist!!! The feel of the drill in hand is top notch!!!! The POWER is UNMATCHED!!!!!! This drill not the impact is a all day carry like the impact driver would be just with more control!!!!! NO OVERHEATING SO FAR—-I’m in a remodeling trade. LOVE THIS DRILL 2904-20.
I didnt need the generation 4 I have a lot of your fuel line products but it was too impressive to pass on. I love milwaukee im a very die hard fan. Your product mops the floor with the competition and makes my life easier in every aspect. I boast about your company all the time and try to keep up with your product lines. I would buy anything you guys make and the things you havent yet. You guys are killing it and really love they have the people using the tools in mind in every facet. Only thing I want for christmas is one of everything you make.
Great all around drill and driver . Very powerful . I like the company style of both makes it real easy for pipe work . I use the drill for all kinds of applications . I work in civil construction so I am in concrete , steel , wood . Almost all of it this drill and driver out preforms see them all . Both have excellent torque . The battery life it second to none . Over all im very impressed . The one draw back to the set I have seen is the case is a bit bulky and it would be nice if it worked with packout . Or atleast have the option to .
The power and smoothness of the torque is amazing. I do hvac retrofitting and when removing old rusty screws the impact doesn't even engage and removes the screws at first I thought something was wrong, but I realized the torqure is just that good. The tighten mode has worked amazing on 24 gage selftrappers not stripping out from over tightening.
The hammer drill I've used to drill 2 ⅝ a 3⅝ vent pipe holes into band board and the autostop works so good when u catch a nail. I'm not sure why I waited so long to switch from another brand.
After using a Milwaukee 14.5V drill/driver set with NiCad batteries for too many years, and spending time charging NiCads a three times or more each day --the powerful M18 Fuel set has been found to be an amazing improvement. 18V Fuel Batteries charge in about a half hour, and after using the impact driver for 3 days, the battery still shows a half charge. Excellent. BOTH the 1/2" drill and the driver are far superior with magnificent torque AND control. Clearly, quality doesn't cost, it PAYS.

This drill and driver combo should last me many years in the field I’m in. The hard protective case to start things off is very durable. The lights on both drill and driver is very bright and you can see all around your object. The torque on the impact is unbelievable. The drill and hammer drill can hammer and drill through anything you put in front of it. And the batteries last way longer than any other power tool than I’ve ever had! Great product so far and I am looking to buy more Milwaukee products everyday!
I've owned combo sets by multiple different brands, so far this one is the best I've owned. The impact driver runs everything in nice and fast and haven't had a problem. The drill, just impressive. On small jobs I'll mix up concrete in a 5 gallon bucket, I've had low speed high torque 1/2" corded drills bog down on this task, this cordless drill almost blows through the bucket, doesn't bog down, and seems like it's asking for more tougher tasks. Only problem I'm having so far is me keeping up with the set.
Money well spent make upgrade from what I was using before love the hammer drill. Most people don’t know how to turn off the auto feature, put the Ford reverse switch in the middle and press the auto button five times and it will turn off the auto feature. The impact driver love that it has three lights so you have full coverage of what you’re doing at night or in dark places in the cases of bonus. Glad to see Milwaukee keeps on improving would definitely recommend this set to friends and family
I had just finished shelling out a different brand drill drilling 2 1/2” holes in a metal building and through 2x6’s to run lines for a mini split system. Even with only 450 inch pounds of torque the old drill was painfully wrapping up my wrists. I was concerned the more powerful Milwaukee drill (750 inch pounds) could break my wrist. I was very pleased when I discovered I could get the power of Milwaukee’s most powerful drill with the protection of Auto-Stop to protect me from the bit catching

These are way better quality for a little more money. Very powerful and 5ah batteries last a long time. I purchased this kit and the 2962-20 impact. They are well worth it. I am a industrial refrigeration technician and we also use the milwaukee fuel line at work. We got a new set 3 years ago including skill saw, saw zall, drills, impacts, rivet guns, heat gun etc. They last through alot of abuse and the batteries are great.
Am a Ridgid supporter and fan. But I had two drills burnt out from regular use in the past month. So i figured I’d try Milwaukee and man glad I did. First off the batteries are 5ah which is great for an all day job, second the heavy duty case perfect keeping everything in its place and third the power. Man the power of such a compact drill is perfect for everyday use and just speeding up your process and days work. I’m definitely looking forward to switching out everything I have to Milwaukee.
Really nice powerful tools. They have a lot of oomph for the compact size. With that in mind, I think unless you're away from a power source or second battery, the 5 AH batteries are almost overkill. Don't get me wrong, they're awesome, but the weight of the big battery takes away from the streamlined size and weight of these tools. I'll probably use 2 or 3 AH batteries for routine tasks. The side handle on the drill is a little finicky until you get the hang of it, but it is solid.
Upgrading from a Makita LXT, i had 2 generations of Makita 18v tools brushless and brushed versions. The torque management in these new units are really handy, I used to have to sneak up on screws or I’d over drive them every time. Ended up getting some 12v units for smaller jobs just because I broke so many things with the old cordless tools. These have several levels and seem to get it right almost every time. The new batteries last forever, though they’re a bit heavy working overhead.
I was hesitant on these 2 from a view videos but went ahead and upgraded! Here’s a few things about them, the impact has brighter area lighting, the trigger is smoother, the switch button is more crisp and easier to switch modes. Also the f&r switch is easier one handed than the 3rd gen!! The hammer drill sounds different than my 3rd gen like more powerful and smooth, The speed trigger is easier also, the collar is much better now it doesn’t accidentally move to hammer when using it!
I had the previous generation kit and I made the decision to upgrade since I wanted a new model and above all with more power and the truth is that I do not regret it. It is the best thing I have ever bought. The drill makes holes in concrete quite easily and the impact gun what can I say wow what power it has, in option #1 it has quite a lot of power and in the 3rd you don't want to imagine. In all aspects it is better than the previous generation, especially with the 3 LED lights.
Everything about the Milwaukee Fuel 1/2” hammer drill and 1/4” impact driver shows the attention to detail and quality that I have come to expect from Milwaukee. The handle fits my hand so nicely. Both tools feel dense and solid. The driving power is unmatched for speed and stability. Whether your driving 4” screws or boring holes in studs, this set has you covered. Truly a great buy! This combo set makes my job easy. I can tell I've dropped both the impact and the drill from over 15 feet and no breaks no cracks no problems. They are tuff, rugged and powerful. I use them 6-7 hours a day 5 days a week. Hands down the best I've used in 30 years of working sheet metal and fabrication. The locking chuck feature is a big plus for the drill, bits don't spin in the chuck. You don't have to fight the chuck trying to change out bits. Just unlock it.
To the point, these drills along with past drills handle more abuse and wear than any other brands we've used in the past. We've bought a number of Milwaukee tools over the years and almost ever tool has been a resounding success. These are being used with some machine movers who regularly move 40K lb. pieces ranging from bar stock lathes to large cnc multi axis machines. They get banged, dragged, and unfortunately sometimes sprayed with machine lube but so far, they keep going.
Works as described. I have been waiting for my other brand to die before purchasing, but I had a project that required a hammer drill. I knew I wouldn’t need to use one very often, but I had need of one in the moment. This was a great solution for me. I was able to get the job done without burning up my bits. Gaining more batteries and another rapid charger is great as well. Personally, I like the hard side case over the idea of a bag - so this was a great addition to my lineup.
Had such a great experience with my Gen 2’s may not last much longer as I’ve tortured them, dropping them off ladders and working in the rain. They still run and do the job. Buy these and WOW!!! I should have bought them sooner. First thing I did with the impact was send a 3-1/2” deck screw in some framing, not as a test but it absolutely blew through it and had me stunned.. no comparison! Didn’t even feel like it was trying, it didn’t impact until the head was past flush.
Great kit! The impact driver and hammer drill are very powerfull. The hard case that houses everything is great to have on order to organize and protect your drills. Got the kit for a great black friday deal where I was also able to pick another tool (tool only) which I picked the blower. That tool is also great. I love these tools! Im Definitely a Milwaukee guy now. I highly recommend! Also thank you for honoring military discounts! I along with other Veterans thank you!
I've been using this set for years and let me guarantee you - this is the best drill/impact combo on the market. I use these tools almost interchangeable and they both do a tremendous job. The hours I've tallied on each one is immeasurable, but these tools just don't stop. I've really cranked on them and they just keep chugging. Runtime, power, durability, longevity, efficiency - I give these tools top notch ranking. I can't say enough about them. Terrific job Milwaukee!
This is the first time I have purchased a Milwaukee product and did a lot of research comparisons on line before purchasing. I am a home DIY'er not a professional and through the years only bought cheaper tools. Getting older I decided to treat myself to some nice tools and these are definitely them. I have been using them on and off now for two weeks and they are working flawlessly. With this in mind I will be looking forward to purchasing other Milwaukee products.
This is the best power drill, and impact driver, I have ever used. I have seen this brand used at many jobsites for my work, and I decided to take my chances on purchasing it. I am not disappointed at all. I have recommended this to my entire wife's family due to its performance. About to be on my way to use them at my parents house on a small project after I was bragging on the phone with my mom on how I was able to perform many tasks around the house with ease.
The gold standard when it comes to Drills and Drivers. Used these enough at work and saw all the abuse they took day in and day out, I decided to get these while there was a deal going on to retire my highlighter green stuff. Drilling in exterior concrete, using a hole saw in metal, wood, or with the 4" in drywall and it didn't even stutter going slow. Very nice metal chuck as well, and I like the ease of installing and removing the handle for the bigger jobs.
The combo kit tickled a lot of boxes for what I was looking for. A hammer drill for multi use work and a compact driver for general purpose jobs. 2 batteries and a charger is great though would have enjoyed 2 of the higher amp hour batteries instead of one 2aH and one 5aH. So far these tools are performing perfectly and haven’t had any issues with any thing in the kit. Run time is solid and gets through a work day without needing a battery swap (bigger battery).
I was torn chosen the Milwaukee or the yellow when I purchased both the M18 Fuel hammer drill & impact and so glad I went Milwaukee (red) I have used the other brand for some time and thought why not give red a try. Once I got use to it there’s definitely a huge difference and it’s all for the good. I would definitely recommend the Milwaukee M18 Fuel to anyone looking for a drill or impact you will not be sorry. I’m now a Milwaukee fan and not gonna turn back.
These will only be used sporadically so I made sure to test each one out on a small job. I liked how well the impact worked and didn't notice the impact control settings on the packaging. I also was pleasantly surprised at the hammer drill feature on the drill. I didn't notice that on the packaging either when I picked it up in the store. I guess I was just so excited to get them at such a good price on Black Friday sale. Both tools operate as expected.
