Very disappointed

I purchased the 3/16 drill bit to drill some small holes in a concrete finial on my fountain.
The finial is a 10 inch concrete plate that is 1 3/4 inch thick.
After over 30 minutes of drilling the bit was only half way through and it couldn't finish the job. I kept going back to drill some more, and no, it would not penetrate any further.

I buy this product again and again

These are the best drill bits you can use in an impact drill. Others break way easier. For the price I buy a new kit every year. If you break a bit you typically did something incorrectly (I recognize my mistakes) that’s why I just replace the kit every year. I drill titanium, stainless, copper, mild steel. Happy Drilling
Like others have reported, the 1/16th inch bit failed by coming out of the shank within seconds of its first time use. The bit was used with a normal drill and I was making a pilot hole for a door hinge screw. A replacement was sent to me after 5 1/2 weeks. They called the replacement a "one time goodwill replacement ".

By far the best metal twist drills on the market!

These bits are by far the best metal twist drill bits I’ve ever used. I’ve been an Electrical Contractor for 30 years, and was taught how to drill metal by a tool and die machinists. The folks who wrote the poor reviews of these bits obviously do not know how to properly use a drill bit, and misuse of any bit will result in a failure. These bits never walk once you start a hole with them, and that’s a huge time-savings when you don’t have to use a punch to keep a bit from wandering. Also these bits are the sharpest bits I’ve ever used. I warn you to use gloves or a tool like some pliers to pry them out of the plastic holder otherwise they will slice up your fingers. I have probably different 10 sets of twists drills in my huge collection of tools and now I only use these Milwaukee® SHOCKWAVE™ Impact Duty Titanium Drill Bits. They've made all the other twist bits I have obsolete! My only recommendation is that I’d love to have a set of long bits as these are short and stubby.
Always appreciated the compatibility with bit holders. Unfortunately seems as all of my bits under 7/32 size are broken or broken before trashing. Have 3 cases with left side empty on all 3.....most recent one didn't have a threaded mount on it(which i use) even though packaging said onewas there.....
I bought these bits a little over a week ago and whipped out one to drill some holes in a 2x4. For holes in and the bit snapped off in the wood. It was one of the smaller bits, but I was using a driver and not even my impact driver which these are "rated" for. I thought they would be quality bits.
These bits are sharp, but just don't hold up on metal. They snap very easily and are hard to remove from the case. I will not be buying again, not worth the money. If you're only using on wood, you should be ok, but if you intend on using these for metal, look for another brand.

Wast of time and money

Couldnt be more disappointed in these bits. Was excited to get a high quality bit impact ready but half of them broke their first use and the 3/8 couldn't even get through aluminum I had to switch to another bit which went though in less than 20 seconds.

Bad batch of bits

I'v been through 4 boxes of these sets in the last 5 years and they have proven to be far less durable than any other bits out there. My newest 1/8" bit broke in 10 seconds while drilling through thin gauge sheet metal covering a wooden parapet wall.
Really am annoyed, drilled two holes and now have two broken bits. This wasn't even hard drilling, into soft lead, save yourself the money and dont purchase these drill bits. Usually I dont ever review a product good or bad but these are horrible.
I drill wood, soft and hard metals. Dad taught me to keep everything in alignment, don’t force it and let the drill do the work. Haven’t broken a drill yet and I break plenty. I’ll be back to give the 5th star after using them a while.
Have had these bits for less than a year and a third of them have snapped while drilling metal or aluminum. Have caused me lots of trouble having to extract them. Really cheap. Don’t waste your money - find higher quality bits.
My 3/16 bit helixed itself into a new shape on the first use. This was drilling a basic pilot hole in 16ga stainless steel sink, the bit didn't hold up. Does not inspire a lot of confidence in the rest of the set.

Solid drill bits for normal use (hobbyist)

Great bits for wood, drywall and aluminum. Been using mine for almost 5 years and have had zero issues. I would probably not use them for harder metals or concrete but I don't think they're meant for that anyway.
I love Milwaukee power tools, but these bits are a disappointment. Cannot handle any shock load whatsoever. Snap off way too easily, looked for a warranty but it doesn’t seem like there is one on these bits.

I usually lean toward milwaukee tools, however I won't be purchasing bits from them again. The 13/64th broke within the first minute of drilling. I'll definitely be buying a higher quality index next time.

We drilled 4 holes before the 1/8 drill portion came out, and the 3/8 had been bent so badly it wasn't worth keeping. We even used cutting fluid and were utilizing the bits in the proper manor.

I am disappointed, I really am a fan of the brand here in Argentina, but using these soft iron bits they dull and did not drill :(

I wouldn't buy this product again

Wouldn't even drill through a grade 8 bolt dull from factory just bought them yesterday 4 of them had already broke i use to stand by milwalkee products but i think its time to go else where
3/8 bit broke after drilling 5 holes in obs plywood. Usually I am throughly impressed with milwaukee shockwave products but this one left me disappointed and frustrated. Would not recommend.
Disappointed. Purchased today and they didnt last. Broke 3 and only drilled 3 holes. Didnt go crazy with pressure or speed either. First time i purcheased Milwaukee bits and the last time.
Broke 4 different bits drilling a lug nut within 30 min of buying them. Absolute junk. Wish I saw these reviews before I wasted my time and money.I would get negative stars if possible.

The drill bits wobble when mounted in a drill or drill press. Had to cut the back off to have the drill bit not wobble. These aren't for being accurate when drilling into metal!!!!!!!

Horrible case design

If I could ever get these out of the boxI could possibly review the quality of the bits but it is so difficult to remove these that I just gave up and used a different manufacturer !

They work, but not the greatest had one snap on me last night, only drilled roughly 10 holes with that specific bit, kinda bothered me but hoping Milwaukee stands behind this.

Broke first time used !!

Was doing the job with a Generic brand for years with no issues… decided to upgrade to a higher quality “ milwaukee” but broke on first time use… would never recommend it!!

Very disappointed

Never been more disappointed, broke almost every bit in the kit. I was only drilling into wood, not steel I beams. Doubt I'll be buying anymore of these.
