They dont last very long in the headlamp or magnet lamp. That would be fine if you could have four or five of them on a multi charger like the m18 and m12s have. However, they must be charged one at a time either in the charger tube or in the light itself. That makes it hard to keep spare charged batteries ready to go for night work since you cant just stop using your light to charge the battery. Also, they use mini-usb to charge and almost everything uses usb-c these days so you cant forget to carry around an outdated cord that doesnt work for anything else so you can continuously cycle your batteries. There needs to be some updates to this battery’s charging peripherals. The lights are great but the batteries are really a pain to deal with.

Not the quality I expected out of a Milwaukee product. Other reviews mention that it doesn’t charge your phone entirely but this isn’t a power bank for a phone. The slow speed to charge the batteries it is intended to charge is the real concern of mine. I was able to fully drain my second battery in my headlamp (3 hours or so) before the other battery reached a half charge. If the true purpose of this charger can’t be fulfilled it is no longer convenient or useful.

I'm very unsatisfied with this product it charges fine but when I leave the battery in there waiting for when I need it it gets warm almost hot and then it drains the battery so if I have it for a day or so fully charged waiting for me to use when I need it, the battery is drained. Very, not like Milwaukee. I run all Milwaukee tools and they are excellent, very disappointed.

I have two of these and at least 6 of the batteries. I’ve had them since they came out and unlike a lot of other reviewers, I’ve had zero issues with it. Seeing the number of comments made like it only charged my phone to 25% or is slow to charge other devices makes me question what some of these people are expecting out of this. It’s a 3.6v battery with a rated 3AH capacity. It’s tiny compared to the batteries in most, if not all modern phones let alone dedicated power banks. Expecting this thing to fully charge or even half charge a modern cell phone only means you don’t really understand batteries and the purpose of this. The one critique I will say is valid is the lack of USB C for charging but honestly it wouldn’t charge any faster if it was USB C so I don’t see that as a huge issue. As long as you understand what this is, what it can do, and most importantly what it can’t do then you should be fine. I certainly have been.

This works as described.Big issue is that I need a charger not a power source. I have a whole shop that uses these batteries in the lights. They need spares charged and ready to go. A 6 unit charger for these would be awesome! Right now I have these chargers hanging out of almost every outlet in my shop. You have got to come up with something better!

I bought this charger a month ago and returned it today. This would not even charge a cell phone completely from 25%. Very disappointed with this purchase because I really like the idea. With a 3amp battery this should be a winner but unfortunately its not. Alot of money for something that does not work as advertised

Purchased this product to have a spare battery recharge a battery for a flashlight and it will not recharge the battery when plugged into a USB port while the flashlight will recharge with no problems. Disappointed in that this is the first problem I have had with all my Milwaukee tools.

Same experience as other buyers: with a full charge, it can recharge my phone maybe +15%. To call it a "portable power source" is a pretty big stretch. I own and use daily many M18 FUEL tools and expected much more from Milwaukee on this one.
