Shockwave bits don’t disappoint!
il y a 3 ans
Although I don’t use these tools professionally, I’m above average for a DIY/home user. I’ve been able to use my Milwaukee drill and driver extensively over the last year while finishing my basement and helping friends with other home renovation projects. I can say that Shockwave bits are worth the money. They are built to perform and there is a noticeable difference over the hardware store multipack bits. I’m impressed with the durability of these bits and it’s rare that you’d have a slip—with enough use and long enough screws, you’ll find the breaking point, but these are quality! If you decide to purchase, you won’t be disappointed.
I'm an RV technician. I use ph2's and #2 squares daily. Milwaukee makes great bits and I can usually find excellent deals on their quality bits. I've been slowly transitioning to the m18 fuel system. Absolutely no complaints so far. Good to see a company care about the quality and durability of their products. Plan to buy a few new tools per paycheck to replace my old tools. The faster I complete a job the more I make and skimping on quality is not an option. Faster, more reliable tools however are and they are called Milwaukee. I did a ton of research before making my decision and everything kept leading to Milwaukee. Pull the trigger. You won't regret it.
Every day I am faced with different style fasteners at work, whether it may be a ph3 Phillips or a T20 torx, I use the Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE impact bit set to get the job done. Bits loosen and remove each fastener they are put on, whether it be my Milwaukee M18 FUEL Hex driver or my Milwaukee 12 in 1 screw stick. I like the hardened bits as they retain their edges, form and integrity after repeated daily use. No complaints as far as issues go, mainly run into hard to reach fasteners, which are quickly resolved by the arrangement of lengths provided in the SHOCKWAVE impact bit set. Keep up the great products Milwaukee!
I started a residential electrical apprenticeship recently. My driver has been a daily use for me. I bought a small set of drill bits that came with some driver bits as well I’ve been using those bits for my work. This new Milwaukee bit has had a noticeable improvement on my work. The bit has a very strong magnet, I’m not wasting time picking up screws off the floor. The tip also fits very nicely into screw heads, this reduced stripping but more importantly I feel like I have more control over my driving. The reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that my cheap drill set does it’s job just fine the only reason I would suggest getting this if you are looking for a new bit.
I have been using a different brand Power Tool Lineup for years and recently switched from that to Milwaukee, while the price point is higher, it is worth every penny more! It’s like going from a 4 door van to a Ferrari! BUT it all started with these SHOCKWAVE Impact Bits for me; I bought them for my old power tool setup and they out performed the other bits I had 10 to 1; not stripping, breaking, or chipping. They are so reliable I ended up looking at the Milwaukee Drills and now am in the process of switching my entire product lineup of power tools to Milwaukee. Only the BEST from Milwaukee!
I used to own only Milwaukee cordless tools, but I switched jobs and felt like I didnt need the rugged durability and strong dependability that I was used too. Well, after a few years of using lesser tools, I began taking on more and more side work, and let me tell you, I had to get Milwaukee tools again. The Sawzall is the only recip saw in the business worth owing. The drill and impacts are tough as nails. And if you get into drilling a lot of studs and joists, you will never find a product that competes with the nastiness of the Hole Hawg. I will only purchase Milwaukee from here on out!
The Shockwave PH2 two inch bit came with my Gen 2 FUEL impact driver and after using it for disassembly of a two tables I was refurbishing I was a big fan !!! So much so I purchased the 100 piece shockwave bit kit with packout case. All of the bits are awesome. The fit is perfect on all of the screws I've used them on. Not too tight so you can't release and definitely not loose. The magnetic properties aren't so powerful that with other brands becomes annoying. After first use I got some metal shavings that were easy to clean off and that issue was gone. The best bits Ive used.
I’m in love with the Milwaukee power tools and acc

The bit fits right into the screws. No wobbling no stripping of screws. Before I bought the Milwaukee gen 3 impact driver and hammer drill set I was using a cheaper brand didn’t know much until I bought this set how powerful it is how the bits didn’t break or wear. So I switched to everything Milwaukee. Bought me a right angle attachment another 45 PCs screw driver bit set and a spade bit set and two masonry bit set and ordered the 145 PCs bit set which is on its way. Amazed by the quality and power will continue to buy Milwaukee products. Could not believe how much time and money I was loosing with other brands. I will show you my tool collection. In the picture below. Going to get rid of all non Milwaukee tools.
