Never Buy This Product !!
il y a 3 ans
I bought the Milwaukee M 18 impact driver and a set of Drill bits and a set of Driver bits for screws. Both sets also Milwaukee. Then I needed to both drill and screw in at angle. I purchased at a very high price your 11 PC./P. 30 Knuckle Impact Pivoting Bit Holder. I put into it a Philips head screw bit from my Impact driver set not form the 11 PC./P. Knuckle set. Now I cannot remove it. I did not use a drive bit from the Knuckle set because their are no instructions included. So unless I receive an answer today at my e-mail address below or by Cell phone 1-516-241-9317 I am returning the 11 PC./P. set today and you owe me for the unremovable Screw bit from my Driver set.

Better than Dewalt’s knuckle

Pull the bit ‘til it clicks, then hold the stainless steel sleeve in place holding the bit like you would on your impact. It won’t pull back like that mechanism but it seems to help when wiggling the bit out. Once out, use Makita bits or anything but what comes with it and this tool becomes butter to use. It has been years Milwaukee, add a quick release to this for sanity’s sake, and find a way to make the angle hold itself in place and you have yourself the most useful bit holder imaginable.
As others have stated it is almost impossible to remove the bits from it. I had to cut a slit in a piece of metal that fit around the bit so I could pry and basically beat the big out. Also when I first got it the internals did not turn. I had to clamp the housing in a vice then use an impact driver to break it loose. After several minutes of working on it I finally got it freed up. For the time and effort I invested in this tool I could have bought several competitor’s tools.
Hello Smittysrepair, thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention and we will follow up via email in order to address your concerns. Thank you-Mackenzie

This is the second one I tried and no way will this bit come out either just like my first one. I tried everything from wiggling, pulling I even tried holding the bit with lineman’s pliers and walking the lip of the holder with a hammer and if anything I would say it got harder to remove. Absolute fail with this product and not a cheap price I expect the normal Milwaukee quality and functionality but so disappointed!!!!!
Like the other people reviewing this flex adapter. Mine got stuck once I put it in. Irritated, I yanked and I pulled to try and get it out. When I did manage to get it out. I got rid of the little internal ring that has a death grip on the bits. It still has a magnet at the bottom so it still holds the bits just fine. After I did that it works as advertised.

I definitely buy this again

I agree with the other review on here once you figure it out is easy you buy it for a reason it's a strong magnetic tips as a right there and you guys already know that every time you buy a bit holder that ring and there's got to wear a little bit before it gets a little smoother or do you want when it wears out right away and your buts fall out second use
I thought I was alone in frustration and then I see that this is a common problem with these knuckles. I have a specific job right now that this would be the best solution for but I can not get the bit out! It's crazy for the price we paid. I'm a Milwaukee guy through and through but someone needs to make this right. Please contact me

I purchased this product with the expectation that it would live up to the milwaukee name however when I tried to change the bit I found that it wouldn't release and now I am stuck with this bit that I can't change.... needless to say I am incredibly disappointed with this tool. I would like to get my money back for this product.
