Coffre à outils PACKOUT, 22" x 16" x 6"

So I've had my packout set for about 3 years and can't come up with one single compliant. It's tough, durable and very well thought out. Milwaukee has the tool storage industry down to a science. But leave it to me to push it to the limits. I was in a bad car wreck on my way home from work about 2 weeks ago.(broken femur, broke pelvis,3 broken ribs and bruised and bleeding lungs) The work van and my packout kit were both totalled unfortunately. Every box was stacked together and it was ratchet strapped to the wall of the van but that still wasn't enough. Every box is also busted, cracked and warped. But my tools inside we're fine. I was wondering what I can do (if anything) to possibly get a new set. I'm a Milwaukee man for life!!

I had my tools scattered across multiple tool carriers and tool boxes. I needed to get them into one as I am doing some work on our remote property on weekends and always tend to forget something or other, so having the important, commonly used handtools in one place makes this a great option. It's rugged enough to be tossed into the back of the car or whereever. I got the Packout instead of other similar options as it seems to have the best expansion capability

Currently I have four of these boxes with closed cell foam routed to the shape of specific M18 Fuel cordless tools, and will be buying and outfitting more. I match them with the organizers loaded with the appropriate hardware for whatever type of work the service call required. For instance an installer will have a 4824 box with hammer drill and impact driver, and will stack organizers with self tapping screws and assorted bits and tips.

I currently have two of these cases, I put high quality foam in them to hold my tools in place. One is for my M18 Fuel 1/4" Impact and Hammer Drill, the other is for my 18 ga brad nailer and crown stapler. My Impact is One Key so I didn't need to utilize the Tick mount for one, but I did on the second case. Light but durable, and the metal posts are great for labeling what is in each case.

I never leave reviews but I feel I had to due to all of my inpac sockets Rustin after having them in there for a month I love all of my Milwaukee tools and the other pack out bins I have with that said I was under the Impression, that they where all sealed very well but, not this one really disappointed being a huge fan of Milwaukee.

I bought this pack out to store my sockets in and after being on vacation I came back to work and my sockets had rusted because the box had taken on moisture after rain shower that happened earlier in the week even though it was closed and locked. Haven’t had that problem with the other pack outs but this one was very disappointing.

I love the sturdiness and multiple organizational bins. My only gripe is although it looks great directly on top of my rolling tool box, there is not enough gap between it and the extension handle so you cannot open the lid all the way while it is in the locked position. Other than that, it's great!

This is the 2nd of this model I had bought. I bought it to keep my ne Milwaukee D-handle saber saw (tool only) secure and together with any needed accessories, i.e. blades. Reason not a 5*, wish there were more options or ways to configure the toolbox to secure tools from not getting tossed about.
