Bought this after shopping around for a 3/8 electric ratchet, asked a bunch of other mechanics for their input, and it came down to this or a snap on one, i think for the cost you'd be crazy not to go with the Milwaukie. Also this was a whole lot lighter than i expected it to be with plenty of power

The need for speed!

Love having this extra speed to drive and remove fasteners. This thing is crazy fast yet still controllable with the paddle switch. The rubber overmolding makes it easy to hold too. The head is very compact and easy to get into most places to do some work. Happy to have this tool in my arsenal!

High speed, but not an impact to break them loose

This doesn’t break fasteners loose, or tighten them. But it is easy to gently swing the ratchet first, then pull the trigger to quickly spin them out. Also run them in, and finish tightening with ratchet or a torque wrench (I was replacing timing chains on a front wheel drive, tight quarters)

Best tool ever!

Next to the 1/2” impact this is the most useful tool in my box. This thing is fast! I had the original M12 ratchet that was destroyed after a trip into a coolant bucket. I decided to go with the fuel this time and it is well worth the money. Don’t buy cheap this ratchet is second to none!

The M12 Fuel 3/8 ratchet is a great tool for tightening fasteners. Especially in areas where getting a regular ratchet to the fastener is difficult. Works great and came with two batteries making it easy to keep using by changing batteries and charging the used one while continuing work.

A must have for anyone who works on their own vehicles. I’ve saved so much time with this tool. Fuel is the way to go the speed is much better. Only con I can think of is how loud it is, but I only notice the sound when I sneak away to work in the garage when kids are sleeping.

I have a language barrier for English. However, my experience to use this tool it is amazing. I love it so so much. It is convenience when I am working. I really want to buy an other impact wrench but my budget is not enough now. Thank you for you guys making amazing products.

Great tool

Great tool and does exactly what it should for the job it was bought for. Only reason for 4 stars is that it’s missing the battery indicator that most of the tools have and only comes with the small battery. Works better with the 3.0 and bigger so it will stand up on its own.

The speed increase in fantastic, the build quality is excellent as with other Milwaukee ratchets. The 3/8 head area has been slimmed down and is perfect for close quarters work in difficult locations.

12 volt 3/8 ratchet with small battery.

This 3/8 ratchet is the most versatile battery powered tool I own. It gets into small spaces quite easily with the small battery and surprisingly has enough power for the whole job, which included removing all accessories and front cover and both valve covers on a F 150.

Needs a more suitable battery. or you need 2!

Battery is less than stellar for this product. I used it for the first time and typically love Milwaukee items. The battery ran dead after only taking out 24 nuts, which is pretty poor. I know you can purchase other batteries....but that shouldn't be a must have...

Wow, Speed!

I was skeptical on the speed of the ratchet vs the non-fuel 3/8ths. I played with it a few times on displays. I finally made the purchase and when using this ratchet, it seems to be faster when turning a fastener. I'm very impressed and happy with the purchase!

These compact ratchets cut the time out significantly for mechanic jobs. would definitely recommend this product to anybody that’s looking into electric ratchets. If you’re looking for something with more power as well the impact right angle wrench is a beast.

It's fast, but not fast enough to offset the complete lack of power.
This ratchet was great for assembly, but for disassembly it's almost useless. Unless the nuts or bots were free moving enough to thread apart by hand, you were using a bulky have ratchet.

Small package but good torque

So far this thing is great for running fasteners in and out. I’m a diesel technician and this thing really speeds up some time on the jobs than just your handy dandy favorite ratchet. Now it doesn’t break bolts loose but it sure will run ‘em out.

This thing rips!

I upgraded from the non-Fuel ratchet, and this thing rips! Highly recommend it. One thing that isn't really listed anywhere is that the head is notably smaller than the non-high-speed Fuel ratchet which really helps with accessing tight spaces.

Great product for speeding up removing and tightening fasteners. Does a good job of breaking most fasteners, but stubborn ones sometimes require the lower torque model. Great tool for putting the standard ratchet away and speeding up work!

It’s not an impact wrench does not have the advertised torque. You must break the fasteners lose first and this will speed them off. It take’s some getting use to. It’s nice for those tight spot where you have zero room to move a ratchet.

Power ratchet

Well, it's a power ratchet. Definitely speeds up disassembly on fastener-intensive work (for lack of a better term), such as engines or transmissions. Don't rely on it to break loose stubborn things, but it's great for speeding them out.

This tool makes my work so much more efficient and I'm pleased with the average battery life. The fact that you can still use it as a traditional ratchet it handy as well although I think I'll need to upgrade to the 55ft-lb ratchet.

Love the speed and power!

I love using this rachet for hard to reach bolts. I also love how you can use it as a hand ratchet as well. My only regret, i shouldve bought the 1/2" drive too. I can tell you, the 1/2" drive ratchet will be in my arsenal soon.

I have a large assortment of Milwaukee tools. I had high hopes that this tool would be as great as the others, but it leaves a lot to desire. My 1/4” electric ratchet is just as strong and the tool struggles to break bolts free.

This ratchet makes it so much easier to work on things. Ive used it on several different vehicles,even put deer stands together with it. If it requires a socket this ratchet gets it done so much quicker than a regular ratchet.

This Ratchet works great, comes in handy when there are long bolts that need to be taken off from the bottom of equipment. It saves my arm from ratcheting like I used too. I don’t know why I waited this long to purchase this.

I love it! I’d highly recommend this one over their chunkier fuel ratchets. Less power doesn’t mean much since it’s still a ratchet and you can easily just twist it loose by hand first then let the ratchet do the tedious work

This is a huge time saver when working on cars. It’s also better than dragging around an air hose. The only improvement would be more breaking power, but I know that’s not what it’s meant to do. It is a little pricey!

Quick and smooth

So far, so good. This ratchet is fast, versatile, light, and just enough torque. Excellent battery life. Been using it to go thru my motorcycle, and it works great! Just need to get me the protective boot, and I'm set.
