Milwaukee 2960 3/8 impact

Used the 2960 3/8 impact to change the spindles on my lawnmower and it handled the bolts with ease. I even removed a few lug nuts on my car just to see if it could do it and it removed those with ease too. Like with all Milwaukee tools I have been more than impressed.
This tool is perfect for anyone working in Automotive, Marine, or light Industrial Mechanics. Power to weight is excellent and led lights on face are bright and useful in low light areas. The multiple power/speed controls are also an advantage to this great tool.
Love this mid torque , I have almost whole impact line except 1” and this one is my favorite. It’s small and light enough to get in tight spots and hold above your head. Plus it’s powerful enough to tighten flanges without breaking a bolt or cracking the flange
This impact wrench has a good amount of power. Compared to the 3/8 Mac impact it has way more power. In our diesel shop this little gun gets a daily workout and performs. Now it will come down to longevity. As we only have had for about a month, time will tell.
I truly love this tool, I can do just about anything to my Jeep and ATV with it, I caint thank you (Milwaukee) enough for offering such a wonderful tool atta great price... Y'all have the best tools ever, this is just 1 of many tools that I have... Thanks again
I had the early version of this impact. Absolutely loved it. This unit is not near as smooth when using. I have 30 milwaukee cordless tools and if this is the direction in quality that milwaukee is going then I won't be replacing them with another milwaukee

Great tool for midsize work!

Great mid range impact. Fits the description great. I never needed a monster 1/2” and for little stuff I always used a impact drive with an adapter. So this was an upgrade to allow me to loosen lug nuts and stubborn bolts that I come across. Great product.
Great gun and its solidly built. It's everything I need it to be and the lighting is just an added bonus. The only thing I noticed was that there is a bit of play when the battery is connected but it's still fastened on well enough. Overall very satisfied.
Tried using it to remove a blade from a john deer zero turn mower. Wouldnt budge it. Still a greta tool but that nut was in thee. Still havnt gotten it out. Now I need a cordless grinder to sharpen the blades. I would def buy this tool again.
It has plenty of power to remove rusted bolts and can get into tight places the battery has lasted days at doing repair work, what a great battery operated tool, the battery pack is easy to install and remove to put into the charging station.
This impact is great! I’m very impressed. It’s a little bigger then expected but there are many options for smaller 3/8 drive impacts. It is so powerful If I could exchange it I would for a 1/2” drive to fit larger sockets without an adapter.
I would have given a five star review if the impact wrench would have came in a hard case like the pictures indicated. Milwaukee tools are very well made and to truly protect your investment they need to be available with a hard case option.
Absolutely great product! It torques way more than any 3/8" drive tool (could even compete against some 1/2" drive tools too) and the "turn until finger tight" feature is really clever when assembling engine parts that need to be torqued
I like this tool. I was already using M18 fuel 1/2 medium torque, for the quality and the easy use in slightly reduced spaces. That's why I made the decision to buy M18 fuel 3/8 medium torque. and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Great product, powerful and more torque than you’ll ever need. Unfortunately the only downside for me is the weight. It’s very heavy for what it is. I have not weighed it but I’d say it’s easily double the weight of the 250 ft/lb one.
Got the 2854-20 for light weight and short length but needed something with more torque. The 2960-20 has 600 ft/lbs of torque and does the job. Ran over my 2854-20 with D6 Cat dozer it crack the handle and bent it but it still works.
This tool keeps up with many of the high torques in the market but isn't a compact form this is my go-tool anytime I'm reaching for an impact wrench that gets the job done and is small enough to get into spaces that I need it in
This mid size tool does it all! It has enough torque to break free lug nuts and is small enough to use as a tear down impact tool. Slightly heavy for continued use, but gets all of the jobs down if you are looking for one tool.
I love the product and bow it preforms. In reality I have no complaints at all other than some minor things which don't effect the tool or how it preforms at all. All in all I love this product and would recommend it to anyone.
Exceptional Power. This tool delivers and is compact. Feels good in your hand and ergonomic. I also purchased the rubber boot as I do for all my Milwaukee tools. The LED ring around the anvil is fantastic! Two thumbs up!
This thing is an absolute beast! Provides far more power than I had planned on. The 3 lights on front are great for being able to see in darker areas. The only thing I wish Milwaukee would do is offer different colors.
Lots of power in a little package, wonderfully ergonomic and the fore lights are positioned in a spot that they actually work, when paired with a high output 6ah battery it has more than enough energy to last the day.
For a cordless 3/8” impact I don’t think this will be beat. I have used this thing to bust flanges up to 400ftlbs with no issues. Holds its battery life very good as well. Would recommend to any of my tradesmen.
im diesel fleet shop manager/mechanic. it has almost completely eliminated my use of my pneumatic one. i really like the torque/breakaway mode. no more slinging bolts and nuts across the shop when they come off
Bought this impact to replace my 2754-20 3/8 . I abused that tool everyday and it lasted 7yrs. Im sure this 3/8 will be just as good or better!! Hard to beat the power and reliability of Milwaukee tools!
Plenty of power for many tasks in heavy equipment repair. I use it everyday and it does not disappoint! Only down side is the rubber protective boot is pretty expensive compared to many other big brands.
I have been using for two weeks, so far, I like it. However, forward/reverse control switch keep accidentally pressed while holding and operating, it is very close to trigger, it could be little higher.
Love this tool, great for even big jobs lots of power and light weight. The compact size allows me to get in to the tight spaces and work more efficiently and not have to go looking for another tool.
Bought this impact to work on my vehicles at home and so far it's blasted through absolutely everything I've worked on. It's crazy for how compact the tool is, how much torque you get in the package.
It’s ok. Definitely prefer air powered over this. I had high hopes and was hoping for more. I don’t think it’s a replacement for pneumatic. Impact driver is too large for tight/ normal car work.
