This impact was bought for heavy duty shop use by multiple users. The other mechanics like it due to light weight and not having to deal with an air hose. It has performed well on all the jobs it has been tested on.
This power tool worked like magic
I was concerned we would have problems removing some bolts on a heavy duty brake job we where doing but NO it did it with ease made our job so much easier to do

I bought it for my Isuzu NPR to be able to rotate the tires at home without having to call road service. It loosened the lug nuts that road service tightened with a 1 inch anvil compressor tool without hesitation.

Heavy truck and trailer repair we abuse the heck out of them the tools keep getting better and better as do the batteries..... only down side is at times they can be hard to get and ordering can take a long time
Save your money on this one. Have the 1/2” and this one and this can’t do anything the 1/2” can. Sent it in for warranty and told there is nothing wrong with it. Hardly used and biggest waste of money there is.
we needed a impact drill that can handle the heavy duty nuts and bolt removal and installs and this product has that power without being cumbersome it has quite a loud but with hearing protection it seems ok.
WE ARE IN THE UNDERGROUND UTILITY LINE OF WORK WE USE THIS IMPACT TURNING 1 1/4 DEEP SOCKET DAY IN DAY OUT N WET SANDY MUDDY CONDITIONS THIS IS OUR THIRD ONE BUT NOTHING ELSE WILL STAND UP TO THE CONDITIONS
We purchased this impact because we needed a rugged high torque impact that we didn’t need to drag around air compressor to use. This thing is a beast!!! Easily out performed any pneumatic impacts we have.
I’ve wanted one of these for a long time. Finally got one and I love it! The main reason I bought it was for semi truck lug nuts, and it should also make very light work of taking off car/truck axle nuts.
Absolutely disappointed 2864-20 bought it new less than a month ago will not undo 1"-8 x 6" shcs torqued to 800 ft lbs claims 1400 bolt bustin torque... Yeah not so much... Have video but can't upload...
I fix heavy machinery. I’m very impressed and it has similar power as my 3/4 air impact guns. The 12 amp battery last all day. I used to use snapon impacts and they are over priced and a waste of money.
I use this product in the oil field industry. Allot of “1” to “2” nuts are easily broken loose. I feel if 1/2 in impact is falling short of nut loosing capability the going with the 3/4 in impact wrench
I like it a lot. I have a 1 inch and a 1/2. Needed this, a heavy hitter but not as heavy as the 1 inch. Use a 1 inch adapter and still use my big sockets. Heavy equipment and industrial maintenance.
Milwaukee continues to deliver with quality tools. We have used other cordless tools in our shop, but none can match the power and dependability we've come to expect (and receive), from Milwaukee.
I work with a group called Texas Ramp Project. We build handicap ramps for the handicapped. I have used Dewalt 18 volt. The Milwaukee is great improvement on power flexibility and dependability
Best investment into the shop I've ever made. It handles great for removing stubborn rusted 33mm lug nuts no problem. Even going up to the 41mm on the Isuzu's we have, it works like a charm.
This impact is great. I use this when my 1/2 don't have the power. 3/4 impact works great for heavy duty applications, use it most taken lug nuts on and off of semi tractor and trailers.
Nice product when works correctly hope this replacement one doesn’t just quite out of nowhere.It was covered under the warranty for replacement due to replacement parts on back order.
Great for tightening wedges on railroad tracks for switches. Also used for any bolts and nuts for a secure connection on the railroad where corded and hydraulic tools can’t be used.
only thing I have concern about after it hammers a bit it stops while removing lug nuts on a transit bus lug nuts But gets the job done in a pinch nice for side of the road repairs
Having issues with availability of tracking tools but the feature is still better than nothing and very useful. The performance, the power and the service on repairs is excellent.
What short time I have had it I love it. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and it is really handy not having to drag a hose and gun out. Only regret is that I didnt buy it sooner.
I work in a papermill, it's fairly big industry and very wet environment. Milwaukee has the only power tool that actually hold up. I would highly suggest any of their products.
I’m using it mainly in lug nuts on tractor and trailer tires but also using it for larger nuts and bolts
Would and will by buying more Milwaukee 18 volt tools in the future
These impacts 3/4 and 1/2 are power houses I have both, mainly use them for pipeline work loosening 2-24” flanges. But for home use I haven’t found anything to stop them yet
Ended up with my first one after needing cordless tools for an emergency job, started using it to replace my corded gun. It takes apart stuff that my 1" corded gun wouldn't!
Makes life so much easier for all my mid- heavy duty mechanic needs, the 3/4 chuck makes all the difference compared to the 1/2 with an adapter you don’t loose any torque ,
Great Impact. Not much bigger if any than the 2767 1/2 Impact. It would be nice if it had a little bit more torque, but that would probably lead to breaking more things.
It’s good a few issues on one keep app unlocking tool and have error codes on adjusted setting but it still work great when it catches up or just running factory setting
This impact surprised me. It was great. There wasn’t one time I had an issue with it. Breakaway torque is crazy strong. And honestly wouldn’t trade up for another brand.
