Fast but not as powerful as I’d like

Still haven’t found a consistent use for this yet. It works great for small stuff but seems weak for the size and doesn’t operate as a ratchet since it’s an impact. I tend to use the stubby impact instead of this because it packs way more power and is similar in compactness. I’m sure it would be more useful to someone who could use the reach of the handle. I can’t see it being used in automotive much because of the torque but it could be useful for installing lag bolts or work were you need the reach(which is where I see its advantage). It is very ergonomic and speedy but I’ll reserve this tool for light duty/non critical work.

Desent tool, but a bit bulky

This tool is definitely heavy duty as the weight of it can substantiat and will likely last for years. It will however, be bulky and not as handy to use for light work and small jobs. It will likely be really handy when I don't want to be attached to an air compressor to us pnuematic versions of this type of tool. I've used a multitude of this type of tool and it seems like it could be lighter and more user friendly, especially if you are going to use it in hard to reach places to get fasteners loose or tightened. The purpose of this type of tool is to do just that and it is not the best choice in my opinion.

Amazing power in a small package.

I bought this for a job installing stair treads at a brand new apartment complex. I was amazed that it would drive in 1/2" x 5" lag bolts with no pilot hole at all. You will need the bigger batteries to do it though. I was using 5.0 and 6.0 batteries. Most of the time I was using it for 3/8" bolts that heald the concrete stair treads to the stringers. I actually had to dial back the power after I actually broke the concrete on one of the treads. I dropped this tool about 13 feet into the concrete and it didn't even leave a mark. It's a great tool!

220 ft-lbs. of nut-busting torque...really?!

The tool is advertised as having 220 ft-lbs. of "nut-busting torque". With a socket attached to the wrench, I can hold it with my bare hands to keep it from turning. I couldn't even screw down a self-tapping bolt through a pre-drilled hole. I exchanged the tool with the exact same model but experienced the same result. If it's operating as designed, I can't imagine what I would use it for. If it's not operating as designed, then the Quality Assurance process at Milwaukee Tools is a concern since two identical tools exhibited the same performance.

Awesome!! 250 ft.lb torqure!!

So i bought this because i was tired of not being able to get certain bolts off due to the angel of loctaions. Id have to use my electric rachet, but would always have to break the bolt loose first. Thie come in handy as it will bust the nuts/bolts out with confidense. I use it for brake caliper bolts, to suspension bolts, all the way to oil pans , and pretty much anywhere the head fits. Love the punch it has and has no recoil on wrist. Unlike the rachets when the have that initial kick or when the nut is reached it max tightening.

Puts the elderly back in the game baby!

The operation and versatility of this tool can't be beat. Extremely helpful reaching and breaking lose nuts and bolts in places that would tax the worn-out arthritic shoulders and wrists of the elderly still doing their own auto and home maintenance with manual tools. This tool along with a cordless fuel ratchet and fuel hammer drill put me back in the game and saves a lot of pain of doing the work manually with a standard ratchet and drill. It would be nice though to have a pinned version of the 3/8" drive wrench.

Great for tight spaces,lots of torque for the size

This tool takes off more than you would expect for the size, my family owns a dairy farm and I haven’t used it in any really tight spots yet. But there was some bolts on are manure spreader that were really rusted on and it fought for a couple seconds on some but broke them all free. I think the right angle impact would work really great for brakes if anyone was doing a lot of that work. I have the bigger 5.0 and I would really recommend anyone getting into M12 line just to start off with the bigger batteries.

A Few Issues but a Great Tool Overall

I recently bought the m12 Right Angle Impact. It is incredibly handy to have around and has more power than a power ratchet. My only issues with it are that the 3/8" drive is in the middle of the head, which is kind of bulky and doesn't fit real well into real tight spots. My only other issue with it is its got some sort of overload protection on it which is way to overprotective. Sometimes its hard to get it to take a bolt off because it wont impact it just stops. Incredibly handy to have around though.
