These batteries fail

Had 2 batteries bought in a kit. Both failed shortly after purchase. Both were replaced. Now one of the two new ones failed. Getting weary of driving 40 miles and wait for 1-2 months for replacement. (Wood worker.)

I have several Milwaukee tools and about 12 batteries M12 and M18 that I have no problem with but the M12 XC 6 I have two of them they have the green and red flashing light of death. Only used them a few times.

Bought this battery haven’t been that old and it’s already blinking the death of red and green. I can’t believe Milwaukee is putting out junk like this after having such good luck with all their other products.

Highly disappointed. I have purchased 3 of these that no longer take a charge and flash red and green while on charger. I’ve used these batteries for light use and have not received my moneys worth from them.

Bought a two pack. One worked once, the other never. Charges green but put in any tool and one blinking bar. The last 3 tools I bought have broke as well. Grinder, mag drill used once, and metal circular saw.

Love M12s but....

I have a 10 M12 tools- love them. However I purchased 2 XC 6.0 batteries and after 3 charges one of the batteries wont charge.(I tried it on 4 different chargers and all I get is flashing red an green lights.

I would not recommend this battery. After minimal DIY use it fails to charge with the red/green blinking light. I tried all of my chargers with the same result. Seems this particular battery model is bad.

Very expensive for a bad battery.

Battery charged once and then gives either flashing lights or green light even when battery needs to be charged. For some reason the 6Ah are defective and they don't seem to want to acknowledge the issue.

Battery flashes green and red

This battery sounds great right! Who would t want a battery that can last 4 times as long on the job. That is if it even makes it to the job site. Battery just flashes red and green on any charger I try.

I bought this battery to use in my die grinder at home. I’ve had this for about a year but was working great but not it won’t charge. These batteries are very expensive very disappointed that it died.

Worked great till now....no way has the battery been charged over 50 times m12 doesn't get used as much as my m18...red green lights of death for my only 6.0 probably why there is a 5.0 on the horizon

Batteries don't have a long life. I have one that looks like new. I probably used it a dozen times and it no longer takes a charge. This is becoming more and more common with Milwaukee batteries.

I have three of these 6.0 M12 batteries. Light use around the farm. Two of the three are blinking on the charger forever. They will mo charge. 4.0 and 5.0 seem to be built tougher and stronger.

I have 3 6.0 m12 batteries that are not working properly , flashing green and Red on the charger, noticed everyone else is having the same issue, Milwaukee needs to do a major recall on these!

This battery used 1 time and now all it does is a red green light will not take charge I bought 2 of them and they both did the same thing total junk. Pick another battery besides this xc6.0.

I have over 20 m12 batteries in all different varities. They all work perfectly except the 4 6.0 batteries that I have. They have all failed and flash red/ green while on the charger.

Total Junk!!!!! Thought i would pay the money for a longer run time battery. Only used a handful of times. Of all the M12 batteries i have, the MOST expensive one died first!!!!!!

I use these batteries for automotive and heavy equipment to tractors on the 3/8 stubby impact and 90° die grinder only thing is less then a year the battery starts flashing red/green.

Bad battery cell

I haven't even had this battery a year and now it won't charge. It works in a tool but when on the charger it flashes red and green. I've even tried multiple chargers to no avail.

2 months after buying this it is now a paper weight, doesn’t charge and is still under warranty but no Milwaukee authorized dealer will take it or replace it. Would not recommend

Battery lasts almost exactly 3 years with limited use. This was a replacement from a previous 6.0 that was warranted. A month and a half out of warranty and it stops working.

I bought one it doesn't work and I took it to a dealer and they put a charge on it and said it's fine but it still doesn't work don't waste your time on these. They are junk!
