Awesome. Compact. Fits behind seat in work truck. I always buy the FUEL line of Milwaukee products, so I was apprehensive about this model. However, it's smaller footprint, sturdy design, and more than adequate power has been perfect for my on the job needs.

Great vacuum for picking up small carpentry messes

I do agree the switch should be at the end with the hose. I was using a wand vacuum before I got this vacuum. Yes it is loud, but the suction is great for its size. I now have two of them. One for my job, and the other for mom wife to use around the house.

It's great for what it is

I've been using this vacuum for small jobs here and there and for minor clean up, works great. The battery usually doesn't last long, I use the 5.0 mostly. My only suggestion is that they design a vacuum that can attach like a packout, that would be great.

Its small,light,and has great suction! This is my first milwaukee tool and now i am planning on having milwaukee tools in all my trucks! I run a lawn care business and a handyman service. The design is great dont do anything except keep it the way it is!!!

Very handy, but should come with foam filter

Nice little vacuum - very handy and easy to carry around. Seems fairly sturdy and powerful enough. I did have to purchase larger capacity batteries for better runtime. Wish it came with the foam filter they sell for wet use. Overall pretty happy with it.

It’ll suck and blow

Works awesome, used it from cleaning out the truck, to blowing out brake dust. Sucking up metal chips and blowing them away from work areas. This thing is great. The wet vac works amazing too, cleaned up plenty of spills already and it never disappoints

Can't use 1-14" accessories?!

Can't use standard 1-14" accessories!? First, where I am coming from. I have 13, M18 batteries and many many tools. Love the M18 system. I also had the previous version of this vacuum, where the hose was stored on the side of the unit instead of under the cover like this one. On the previous vac, you could use standard 1-1/4" accessories with the M18 vac. Need an extension wand, a brush, something else Milwaukee doesn't provide? No problem, just grab what I needed from my shop vac. It was great. On this vac, the hose is just a pinch bigger (maybe 1-5/16") so it does not fit in a standard 1-1/4" extension and the nozzles provided fall right off the end of a standard 1-1/4" extension wand. What were you thinking Milwaukee?!?! This seriously impacts the utility of this vac. Were you chasing some CFM or Inches-WC spec with the larger hose? This is a big fail. Were it not for this major failing, I'd give this vac 5 stars. I got 5 other people to buy the previous version of this vac because I raved about it so much. Really disappointed...

M18 2 gallon wet/dry vac. great choice

i like this vacuum because of the hose being on out side. makes use fast. And it connects to my packout boxes. I ordered and got the fine dust filter bag and wet filter and have used the fine dust bag and like the way it keeps the gilter from pluging.

Switch must be defective

I have used this vac to clean out the vehicles for the last 18 months and it has worked great
Just got back from a trip, recharged the battery and went to use it and nothing
Could it be the switch?
How can I get this repaired or replaced?

Works great

I like the vacuum but only issue is that the hose always breaks on me. Also trying to get it out from intake to switch to exhaust part horrible which it was designed better. Also can’t find replacement hose. I literally own everything from Milwaukee

Vac works great. I only wish the on off switch was on the other side so when you are walking around vacuuming you can toggle it with your thumb. you can only do this with the blower which on a vacuum should not take priority. otherwise its great.

Great for small to medium size projects. I love how the attachments are contained within the unit eliminating the chances of the losing them while moving from site to site. Has the sturdiest cartridge filter I’ve ever encountered in a work vacuum.

Great for service work

Been using this vacuum while working for contractors for several years. Been able to clean up small messes, use while drilling concrete, and suck stringline in conduit with it. It's gotten a bit pricey, but priceless in service and construction.

Love the vacuum. It’s has a lot of suck, more than I expected. The only thing I would change would be the ability to sit on it. The lid seems underbuilt and at some point, someone is going to sit or step on it and it seems like it’s gonna break.

Small, light weight and compact

Since the first introduction of this vacuum I liked it, Perfect size for the Handyman on the go. A little on the noisy side, but it sucks the crud up. When they offered this vacuum I made this one just for wet ( the original version is just dry)

Works great, light and gets the job done nicely. Quiet doesn’t make a lot of noise in customers homes. I would recommend for its power, size one portability. You won’t be disappointed and it works great also in the service vehicles to clean up.

Picks up all kinds of screws and garbage from the bottom of the electrical panels. Great Vacuum powered by M18 batteries. Only thing I don't like is the little inside elbow that gets clogged a lot. Once cleans sucks garbage like no other!

Perfect size, powerful great for a quick all around vacuum. Dragging the shop vac between three cars on gravel can get annoying. Luckily I have this awesome Milwaukee vacuum. Light enough to carry and plenty enough room to get the job done.

Great cordless wet/dry vacuum

I am a carpenter and this is great for all around work. I can hook it up to my saw, use it to suck up wet dry issues, and powerful enough to clean up leftovers from chunks of wood as well as sheet rock tape and spackle. Highly recommended…

I don't usually write reviews but I had to on this. I've used the hoover 3 times. it will not even switch on now. I'm really angry, I paid so much for it and it doesn't work. I bought so much from Milwaukee and now I'm just angry with them.

Very strong suction and quiet, great for working around customers and patients when needed. I work at a hospital we have around 150k employee's system wide. We all love and use Milwaukee tools in the Facilities Department that I work for.

Vac works great use it all the time. I've had the hose problem others had mentioned. The hose did not break off but simply unscrewed. if you screw it in opposite of how you would normally thread a bolt, it goes right back in no problem.

I have the first model of this unit. Has the hose storage on the outside. Use this everyday. Needed new batteries. Bought some 6.0 high out put batteries. Charged them went to use them and they fit but the top will not close with in.

Suddenly stopped

I just bought this vacuum to attach to my orbit sander to sand my stair treads. A fairly lightweight project. It worked for 7 treads and now it won't turn on. I expected years of use from a MILWAUKEE® product. Can I get a replacement?

Works amazing, looks amazing buttt after my 10th use on my boat (40 days old) I have the infamous hose issue. I am going to leave a 3 out of 5 because unlike one of their largest Distributors, I am hoping customer service will help.

Milwaukee wet dry shop vacuum

Works great, I personally like the boxy design, makes it easier to store. Main reason I got this particular milwaukee vacuum besides already having the batteries was because the hose stores inside it so no tripping or stepping on it.

A little bit more scratch resistant

Great product, I love the extra tips that it comes with, only issue I see is that the casing itself it’s not very scratch resistant , got a in my van and the next day it had a few pretty deep scathes from bumping into my other tools

We use this vacuum only around the house. It's never sucked wet material. lt has stopped working now no matter what battery I put in it. Very frustrating. Seems like lots of people have the same problem with it not powering up.

I don't use it often but when I do, it works great. Good suction, hasn't clogged yet. I use it to clean up after hardware install, usually wood chips. Oh, and you STILL don't have Locksmith as an option under "What is your trade?"
