Great power in a small package.

This little vacuum is amazing: I’ve used it to clean my boat and vehicles mostly and one flood in my basement. During a tough flood, this little vacuum pulled about 80 gallons of water out of my basement before my battery died. It’s been an amazing vacuum: I highly recommend it.

I love how portable the vacuum is. I use it a ton for work. I live how i dont need to grab a cord. I want to buy another one to keep at the house so i have easy cleanup for the cars when the kids spill something or to vacuum around the wood burners just as a quick cleanup tool.

Fantastic unit. Really puts my shop vac to shame! The size is a game changer and the power is beyond surprising. A few attachments comes with it. Also easy to cleanout. Perfect unit to clean out my excavator and work truck without the hassel of size and cords. Highly recommed!

Great product but the plastic end on the hose brok

Great vacuum. Good suction and light weight, but the only problem that I have is the end of the hose where the plastic piece is for connecting other tools broke after a few uses and you can't buy a replacement hose for it. So now I have a useless vacuum with a messed up hose.

Compact and strong

The power is good and I can get a lot of liquid extracted. For when I need it, it acts as a blower as well and the blower is strong enough for its size. For dry debris it is fantastic as it gets a lot of material on one go and the battery runtime for a 6 amp is phenomenal.

I wish I had one years ago

I typically only use my vac 2 to three minutes at a time. After reading other reviews I had to put it to the test. With a 9.0 high demand battery I just cleaned my office and shop of a lot of dust and dog hair. After 30 minutes of continuous run time I still have power left.

Hose is junk

It's fairly good vacuum if you've got the High Output 9.0 batteries. This is the 2nd one that I've bought and had the hose separate at the tool attachment end after a few months of light use. The hose is junk and you can't buy a replacement hose anywhere. Super frustrating.

Love this vacuum, I love that I don't have to drag a cord all over the place to use this but I'm having to move the vacuum because the hose is just to short. I see all these accessories for the other vacuums but hardly anything for this one... Especially a hose extension.

I love the power of this vacuum. It's size and shape stores well. It's lightweight for its power. I do not always put the hose away in the lid for that's a little unconvenient to do every time. I have been using a DeWalt 20 volt vacuum for years and this is my new favorite

Great for when you need a shop vac but don’t want to get out the extension cord. Perfect for cleaning out the vehicle or cleaning up after a little job inside. Great power for all the bigger it is and I’m a huge fan of the carry handle and how it all stores inside itself.

Nice little vacuum but too short of a hose

I love the concept of this battery-operated compact vacuum. It's great for after job pickups, short vacuum needs. The hose diameter size is easy to use, but the short length is cumbersome to me. It would be wonderful if Milwaukee made an extension hose for this vacuum.

Very handy and easy to use. Don't have enough experience yet to comment on run time with a M18 5.0aH battery, but it seems sufficient. Very portable and on board tool storage is convenient. I wish the suction was a tad more powerful, if anything. Overall good product!

Call this vac "Drop Dead"

I received this vac as a gift, used it one time maybe two and it died never to work again. Since Milwaukee doesn't have a repair shop anywhere around and I didn't have a receipt for it, it is nothing but a light weight boat anchor. So, no I wouldn't recommend this tool.

little good vacuum

good little vacuum. have been on. the fence about buying one for years. I heard people liked them but I wasn't sure just due to how bad portable vacuums used to be. I had a ryobi around 2008.
Vac works great for my job as a service plumber and fits great in my van.

Love the 0880 vac. Two things missing; extension wands (2) and clips for on-board storage. Company says 30 minutes run time on 9ah battery; I've tested it on several battery packs: correct rating should be 3 min per Ah.
All that said, yes I've bought 2, 2nd was a gift.

Seems to be some problem with it starting up sometimes, not the battery issue after running it for a bit and shutting it off occasionally and intermittently it does not stirred up right away. If we leave it sit for a day and try it again the second day it will start up

Good suction and build, but pretty much worthless with the short and stiff suction hose you get. Nothing but frustration the hose should've been a lot more elastic and twice as long. Would not recommend for most jobs. Given the cost and usability would not recommend.

Room for improvement

Would be nice if there was a mesh screen around the hepa filter to catch bigger debris instead of clogging the filter. The battery compartment gets quite warm I think due to using brushed motor instead of BLDC motor. Otherwise very respectable and more than adequate.

Great Vacuum but only for a year

Powerful vac um and especially like that it’s small enough to pack around. Worked great for a year maybe even less, but it just stopped. I have read multiple troubleshooting advice, but it still doesn’t run. Iffy rate it a 4 or 5 if product lasted longer than a year.

Fantastic, versatile vac

I love my M18 Wet/Dry vacuum. It's perfect for small jobs around the house, and I keep mine in my office. I most often use it when I need to clean/dust IT equipment. Having the suction and blower options provides the perfect strength to make quick work of anything.

Great vacuum. Plenty of power for the tasks at hand. So much more convenient then carrying around a traditional, big and bulky corded shop vac. Stores away neat and can be used as a seat when working on something messy. The hose stretches father than you’d think too!

No more extension cords and looking for outlets . I can bring up to my car and not bring car up to vacuum . I can vacuum out all 4 of out cars and still plenty of battery left . Portability is king with this and sucks up water , no problem . I absolutely love this .

Suddenly died

One year old, used it less than 5 times for small dry cleanups and all the sudden it no longer turns on. Tried 5 different batteries and nothing. I do like that the hose and accessories fit inside the box, which is convenient to stack. But I’d prefer if it worked….

Versatility, compact, no cords! Vacuumed my truck out without giant shop vac. Cleaned up stairs in house. Easy to clean out dirt in container. Reverse hose to air up pool inflatables, or cool me off when I’m hot. Clean up dirt in debris in skid steers. Great vac!

Excellent Vaccum with Great Runtime and Suction

This vaccum is great for the jobsite, or homeowner in mind. I personally use this vaccum to clean up small messes and areas. It works excellent when I do not want to drag a cord out just to clean up a small area. This vac has its place though. I would not use anything less than a 5.0 battery and with it, I get a long amount of runtime and even vaccuming for quite awhile I only drop 1 bar, granted my 5.0 are still pretty new :) Honeslty I like the storage compartment on top to keep all belongings together and the ease of cleaning the filter makes this so much easier than any vaccum I have used. Being that it is a HEPA filter, dust does not blow out the exhaust port like my craftsman vacs do, and being that Milwaukee includes this is HUGE!! Honeslty I give this vaccum a A+ as it is a direct replacement for my small 2.5 gal craftsman unit and exchange for the m12 vac which kept shutting off on me for a strange reason. Being that this is brushed, I believe it will have zero issues and will last a lifetime as less to go wrong.

It worked well for the time that it worked. I vacuumed up dog hair and under cabinets when I would do trim out at work. I used this maybe a total of 10 times before it stopped working. Thing still looks brand new. Milwaukee's products are getting worse over time.

This is an excellent addition for quick jobs due to its portability. From cleaning your work truck to picking up on a job site it is great to have as part of your Milwaukee Tool arsenal. I was also pleased at how long it continues to run on 1 M-18 5ah battery.

Great little vacuum! I looked at several reviews and videos before purchasing and ultimately decided on this one over the fuel and this thing has some power. Used it to vacuum out my work truck and my wife’s suv and it still had juice left using a 6ah battery.

Great, except the hose...

I use it to clean cars. Works awesome and powerful motor so I get great results. The hoses keep falling apart. They are supposed to be ‘flexible’, but watch how you stretch it, because I broke my first hose, bought another vacuum, and now broke that hose too.

Awesome. Compact. Fits behind seat in work truck. I always buy the FUEL line of Milwaukee products, so I was apprehensive about this model. However, it's smaller footprint, sturdy design, and more than adequate power has been perfect for my on the job needs.
