Ultimate hand vac!

Excellent product! It has fantastic suction and overall the unit is lightweight given the performance. Works better than some of my full-size shop vacuums. 10 out of 10 highly recommend! Only criticism would be for Milwaukee to include a brush tip.
I am a trim carpenter and I thought this would be perfect for my cleanups but it only runs for three seconds, shuts off for a minute then runs for three seconds again. If it wasn’t that problem this would be a life saver but it just doesn’t run.
After few months of use it stopped working properly. Constantly shuts off after 10 seconds of use. Filter is completely cleaned out and vacuum still messes up. Second Milwakee tool highly dissatisfied with. Makita might be the way to go.
Used this for cleaning out our personal cars, then the trigger stuck closed so I have to unplug the battery to get it to shut off or plug the battery in to turn it on. The way bottom opens up is not very user friendly and makes a mess

Compact Vacuum keeps shutting off!

I just got this Milwaukee Compact Vacuum a few months ago as a gift. It annoying shuts off after a few minutes use. At first I thought it was possibly filter related but after cleaning and changing the filter it continues to shut off.

Don't know why everyone rated this thing low

This thing rocks. 2 years and running and if you have a wife that constantly sheds hair on hard floor.... this thing kicks butt. All the people giving this thing low reviews must not know a good thing if it smacked them in the face.
I really wanted to add this to our Milwaukee collection of tools (which we love) but based on the fact the glaring issue with this vacuum has not been addressed in over a year of consistent reviews/feedback I will look elsewhere.

Nice little vacuum

Very happy with this little vacuum cleaner. I use it all around my house and in my vehicles. The filter is pretty small (it’s a small machine) and does need to be blown out fairly often especially when vacuuming fine particles.
I like just about everything with this vacuum. It is compact works well with plenty of power. The only drawback is I wish it had a longer hose since I rest it on the floor many times and vacuum higher objects like table etc.
Handy little vacuum. I use it everyday around the shop. The only thing I would change about it would be a slightly bigger canister to house a bigger filter. Other than that small thing its another well made tool in the books!
Bought it 3-4 months ago, worked good on tile and wood, very poor on carpet/rug. I’ve cleaned it every time I used it, kept the filter clean. Used it yesterday, went to use it today and nothing, not even a turn of the motor.

Stops working

Was a great vacuum cleaner when I first got it... But now it randomly turns off while using it..Have a lot of Milwaukee tools.. But this one is disappointing..Thought it was the filter.. But has to be something internal..

They stand by warranty

I wrote a review a month ago on the one I had. I sent mine in to have repaired and milwaukee stood by their warranty. They found the unit to be faulty and sent me a new one. Thank you milwaukee for your customer service!
Not well designed. Doesn't have a flapper to stop debris from falling out when vacuum isn't running. Vacuum end is not a universal size & only attachment that come with it fit. Looking for a replacement for this vacuum.

Stopped running

Had it about 3 months. Loved it until today. Used it for a few minutes, now won't start. Batteries are charged and connections are clean. Cleaned filter out. No joy. Read similar reviews and been retrying periodically.

Intermittently shuts off but works well when on

Use it around the house and garage. Works well but shuts off after an undetermined amount of time. Have to wait upto a minute or 2 then works again. Doesn't matter the battery you use, keeps doing the same thing.

LOVE THE TOOL, BUT I NEED FILTERS

IVE BEEN USING THE SAME FILTER, ALTHOUGH I CLEAN THE FILTER WITH JUST VIBRATION. THE VACCUM IS AND EXCELLENT FIT FOR THE CART I USE CLEANING UP THE USUAL STUFF. CAN YOU HELP ME FIND THE FILTERS FOR THIS MACHINE
Vacuum works great! The suction power for it's size and the portability are what have me going back for another. The hoses and attachments were stolen from a job site so I'll have to find replacements fast!
Right out of box this product would run for about 20-30 seconds & for an unexplained reason shut down. You have to give it a 5 minutes &then it will vacuum for another 20 seconds. Works well when it runs!

Battery operated vacuum

I LOVE this vacuum cleaner! We bought it for our off the grid cabin. It has great suction and longevity. I would like a vacuum head that has vents so the suction is less strong on low pile carpet. Lol
Worked very well until it didn’t. I purchased this vacuum in late July. As others have said this vacuum worked just fine one day and never worked again. I have tried multiple batteries with no luck.

Purchased and use to spot clean a house. 3 days later go to use it again nothing. Batteries is charged and works in my other m18 tools. Doesn't change my mind about m18 series just disappointing.

Randomly shuts off

It worked great for about 2 months but now it shuts off within 30 seconds of use and won’t work again for at least 2 minutes. Milwaukee has always been reliable but I don’t recommend this product

Purchased a few weeks ago and the vacuum has worked very well. No complaints so far. Only downfall I've noticed is the weight. It is awkward in certain positions but otherwise works very well.
Loved it for the short time it worked. Intermittently would shut off and wouldn’t run very long. Now it just doesn’t run. Maybe the switch. Didn’t last long unlike my other Milwaukee tools
The portability of this vacuum is awesome. Great suction power and meets the needs for regular workbench cleanup to car/boat vacuuming. Everyone in your home is going to want to use it.
Works good, the lock and release setup to empty it is a bit cumbersome, it’s heavy for such a small vacuum and battery doesn’t last super long using a 5amp battery, but overall I like it
It works well but doesn’t have anywhere near the suction I expected from a Milwaukee tool so it can’t do what I was hoping. Probably not much better than what you’d get for a lot less.

tea pot works

this tea pot style vac works great & fits my team of milwaukee compact cordless m18 vacs but like other compact cordless m18 vacs i don't care alot about the hose tht comes with them.
like another reviewer has stated in works intermittently and it's only a couple months old. Love the portability and power from it but it is not reliable like my other Milwaukee tools.
