Light weight easy to use

I built a table and wanted to pin the trim to secure it as the glue dried. The tool was easy to load and use. I liked the view window so I can see if I am low on nails.The only issue I had was adjusting the nail depth. Most of my nailers have an adjusting knob this nailer needed an allens wrench and no matter which way I adjusted the depth it was not always consistent. I had to increase the compressor pressure so I was sure no heads were exposed. It also took a while to get use to the safety trigger, it was awkward to use.

rEAL NICE NAILER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this NP35A pin nailer 6 mos. ago and have had some time to use it. Was very impressed with the "feel and fit" and light weight. First thing I wanted to do was put it to the test and see if it was as good as the independent pro reviews that I had read. I put it to work on some Oak and then the hardest wood I had, some Elm (the Elm was from New England, most of which was decimated by the Dutch Elm Disease). Set every pin I fired neatly below the surface with no marring. The holding power was also impressive. I own several nailers and staplers but stability, handling and weight were the major factors for me. It has been pretty much mu "go to" nailer for trim and cabinets. The safety trigger took a little getting use to was the worst of it.
I have no real complaints. Hands down, it is a great nailer.

Great finish nailer at a great price

I have been using the pin nailer on several projects and find it very valuable. You cannot see the pins if you put them in correctly. This is also handy for holding items in place as an extra set of hands, the beauty is no mark is left if you remove them. The pin nailer is well built and comfortable to use. I have not had any problems with jams or partial driving of the pin. Low air consumption is a plus as well. I have been using the pin nailer on several projects and find it very valuable. Another metabo for the collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Years ago, my dad got me a Hitachi miter saw. I used it and used it, and it never failed. Recently, I needed to upgrade to a larger saw and got another, this time called metabo. I was so pleased with the quality, I bought a metabo router next. Now I just got this metabo pin nailer. It works great, easy to use, and reliable. I have a whole lot of yellow tools from a different brand, but I will not hesitate to buy green when the need for a new tool arises.

Brand new gift

I expect this will be a great gun based on the experiences and reviews of others. It's a gift received in early January 2019, I've used it once for some trim, it worked nicely. More trimwork is coming. The extra room in the case for packs of pins is appreciated. The double trigger is different than the 16 ga and 18 ga guns I've had for years, it will take some getting used to. This is the first Hitachi or Metabo product in my collection.

Great Pin Nailer! Highly Recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little PIN Nailer. This is my 3rd Air Nail gun and it is my favorite so far. It's easy to use, easy to load, once you learn to move the little trigger guard, easy to operate. Best of all it hasn't doulbe shot, or missed shooting a nail. I love being able to nail trim and even glued panels down and the nail being hidden because it's so small. I will most likely look at another Metabo for my next air Gun of other size.

Reliable, accurate, strong, and good quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Metabo tools are very well made and durable, and this nailer is just that, every time. It does small work carefully, never jams, is well made and easy to use.
I have a Metabo HD 500/2 VSR drill that is at least 20 years old, and is an absolute horse, despite some of the treatment I have given it. Seems like Metabo tools are always very well engineered and last forever, which is a lot more than most other drills these days.

Perfect for fine trim work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use several different Metabo air nailers and love them all. I recently picked up their 23 gage pin nailer. It is the perfect tool for attaching very delicate trim such as glass bead inside windows or cabinet doors. Also great for end capping trim. Never has jammed and leaves an extremely small hole. Very delicate and has never split any trim I’ve used it on. Very fine tip for detailed nail placement.

Doesn't Miss A Beat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a Must Have for any finish trim work! No large unsightly nail holes to touch up! Works great in both Soft & Hardwoods! Well built & extremely reliable, doesn't miss a beat! The only time I have ever had a pin nail jam is from my own error where I was nailing too fast ,& inadvertently tried to nail through a metal fastener😟 My only wish for it would be that it had the 2 inch capacity!

Where is the serial number?

The nailer is a real charmer!!!! I was, however, disappointed with a single characteristic: the determination of the accurate serial number could not be made, which was necessary for warranty registration. I recorded the numbers I could find and was informed that the registration was successfully completed, but.... I still have no idea where, on the nailer, the ‘real’ serial number is located!!!

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Pin Nailer 23-Gauge over a year ago and it still works like new. It helps me get in tight places where I can't get to and is strong enough to close a miter and keep it closed. I love how I don't have to really come back and fill in the nail holes because the nails are so small but strong. This tool is a must have for any finish carpenter. I can't be at the jobsite without it.

Great little tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to try my hand at making cabinets. A video I watched suggested a pin nailer to help with assembly. A great suggestion! This 23ga nailer is a winner! It hardly leaves a hole and adds just enough stiffness to get the pieces together so clamping and glue can take over. I have used it in many other projects as well and I"m sure you would find it as valuable!

Seems fine. Have only used it on one small project. Cons, if you use the no mar tip, pins won't fully seat. leaves the pins proud of workpiece. If you remove the no mar tip, pins seat properly but you have to be careful about touching the nose to the workpiece as it will mar the workpiece. Pros, it works. Small pins leave a barely visible mark in workpiece.

Great value and quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about it is great. Already completed a couple projects using several different nail lengths. Only once did a 1-3/8" long pin nail wander so far as the break out the side of the board bein joined. But the 23 ga is so fane you can hit any protruding part with a file and make it completely flush. Otherwise works flawlessly. Nice case. Love it.

Amazing Fine Brad Nailer

Great control and tip, you could nail a flies' eye so to speak! Its surprising what these little nails can hold and they hide very well. The safety trigger takes a little bit to adjust too! The only way you could improve this is if it was cordless

Great nailer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this nailer to install some trim around cabinets that I was redoing. I put over 500 nails through this gun with out a single issue. No surprise as Metabo is well known for their mail guns. This one is no different. It is so light and small enough to get in where you need it. If your thinking about this nailer you won’t be let down.

Every carpenter needs one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great entry level micro pinner. Every finish carpenter should have one of these. Super handy for small moldings, especially on prefinished and stain grade. I like this one a lot better than the comparable porter cable it resembles. Not as much power or features as some of the more expensive 23 guns out there but a great tool for the price.

Nice, solid tool. I have used it only once so far, and it feels right. It is quiet, and shoots the nail perfectly. However, at 90 PSI into pine, some nails protruded a little bit (you couldn't see it, but you could feel it), so next time I will try it at 100 PSI. It appears to be well made, and feels very sturdy and safe in my hand.

Works perfectly, great for small parts, and when holes need to be very small

Gun has performed perfectly. Frankly I did not think I would use it a lot however I find it very useful and use it frequently when parts are small and a larger fastener would not be practical. Also great for to hold until glue sets. Hole is very small and could be left unfilled but if needed can easily be cleanly filled and blended in.

This Pinner does everything I expected.

At this point I have put a couple of hundred pins through this gun and have had no problems at all. I am currently making molding and after painting, the pin holes just disappear. I made one assembly mistake and had to take the pieces apart. I was surprised at how good the pins hold. I am going to get a lot of use from this tool.

Smooth and consistent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went through 4 pin nailers in the space of two years. All had issues with jams, misfires, and an inability to sink pins in hardwood. I ended up buying this nailer and have been using it for over 2 years now without a single issue. Consistently sinks nails in whatever material i use it on and can get in awkward, tight spaces

What's not to like?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What’s not to love about the Metabo NP-35A pin nailer? It is lightweight, very maneuverable and setting pin depth is relatively easy. It is a great pin nailer and I have been happy with its performance so far. My one complaint is the double trigger safety lock lever. Quite frankly I find it to be cumbersome and annoying.

Exactly what I needed

It is great to pin thin or small trim, or even larger stock to hold it in place. It is small and light. The depth of set was perfect right from the box. I will be using it to apply trim on my kitchen cabinets next.

Great nailer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this headless pinner about 6 weeks and used it on some pre finished maple cabinets. I bought it based on a recommendation and that it has the most consistent hole and I was very impressed. Very tiny hole left that was pretty much unnoticed unless you got close. I’m very happy with the weight and finish.

Hard to handle trigger but otherwise great

I have used this product alot and I find it great except getting used to the trigger safety sequence. I have put four pin nails in my left hand trying to get the tool in my right hand so I could position it propery. But after a few of these in my hand I am hoping your company makes this tool easier to handle.

High hopes but disappointed

At max 100 psi and with the nose adjusted to full depth and freshly lined out of the box this nailer wouldn’t drive pins flush into a 2x4. Tried both 5/8” and 1” pins. Shot about 100 pins each. Not one would drive flush or under the surface, protruding pins are no bueno. Pretty disappointed, returned.

Wanted to like it

I got a great clearance price on this and felt great about my find until I tried using. Even with Metabo pins, it constantly jammed. Looked on line trying to find a fix but no luck so I reluctantly returned it. Maybe they've since improved the tool, but my experience a couple years ago was not good.

Lightweight and gets into tight places

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A new way to dry assemble a project before nailing and gluing. I use a pin nailer to hold the parts while I adjust everything. Then I glue and nail. The pin nails hold great and easily come apart for final assembly. This even works great on craft projects, small repairs, and attaching trim.
