[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My furbaby is 13 years old now and occasionally has accidents. I put the Hartz Home Protection Pad down in the area she generally uses, not sure how this would be received. It's large sized (30x21) and lightly lavender scented which I wondered if this would dissuade her from using it. After a couple of days checking it out she did use it! The urine does not spread throughout the top like most do, it seemed to be confined to the area she went on. There's no leakage, not from the bottom or the sides. The odor absorbing FlashDry Gel that liquid turns into is makes these pads by far the best I've used! And my Emma is content using them....winning!

I bought a pack for my new puppy. These are definitely better in regards to odor control, (until it soaks through) compared to the last brand I used, but the moisture goes right through the pad to the floor. I even doubled up to keep the urine from soaking through. My dog is only 2 lbs so I know it isn't because of a large dog. These pads seem very flimsy. If they protected my floor from the moisture they would be a good value, but I'm having to use two at a time for layering protection. I'm going to have to have my tile floor steamed to get out the smell. There are so many great reviews regarding how the pads don't leak. How can that be? Bad batch?

I have 5 small dogs & they only use the puppy pad for emergencies because I walk them frequently. I like the Lavender scented pads because I think that the pads with the built in "attractant" made my dogs use the pad more often. The pads with the attractant are more for potty truing. I used those when they were puppies & they are also extremely good. The lavender is just enough so they no where to go but the dogs aren't driven to go. The Lavender Pads smell really good. They are very strong. The pads are large enough for a big dog if you have one. These pads make accidents super easy to clean up. They really have made my life easier. Thank you Hartz! :) 

I received this product for free in exchange for my unbiased review. I actually really like these pads! I have a new puppy so we're in the process potty training her. These pads were absorbent and easily held all of her urine. It would spread to the edge of the pad and then stop before it hit the bottom liner, it never leaked through! She's a decent sized puppy (Border Collie/Terrier mix) and it was able to hold a lot of her urine. The only reason I took away a star is because the beautiful Lavender smell went away almost immediately and it did not trap as much of the odor as I like. Otherwise these are great puppy pads!

These Hartz Home Protecting Fresh Scent Odor Eliminating Lavender scented dog pads are great. I like that they have flash dry technology which turns the urine into gel. This way you do not worry about the pad leaking when you go to change it or soaking through. When you have a busy schedule and have an inside dog these are the perfect dog pads. When you return home your house will still smell fresh. I love the way they are made and the way they smell. They have lavender and spring meadow scents. I prefer the lavender. I would highly recommend these and have switched to these completely myself. I received a free product in exchange for a review. Opinions are 100% my own.

I use to buy Hartz dog pads and they were good, however these pads now are just a waste of money and time! I have a 5 lb. chihuahua and these pads are suppose to absorb and flash dry? They do neither, you have to put 4-5 around so that if they leak they don't stain or wet the carpet! When you pick them up to put them in a garbage bag they drip! The lavender fragrance is also a joke, they smell like urine when used, I don't know what changes Hartz has made to these pads but what a waste of money! Terrible when you have to use 4-5 and throw all of them away because they are soaking wet & smelly! If I can't get more than 1 use out of them and use more, to me just a waste of money!!

I liked the brand of dog pads. I have never tried the hartz brand pads before and I definitely noticed much better odor control with them compared to the knock-off brands I had been using. The price is another thing that I liked about this brand. it's comparable to the knock-off but the quality is so much better and definitely worth the extra few bucks. I have recommended this product to friends and co-workers and have given them some of mine to try so that they can test out the product for themselves. I'm looking forward to sticking with hartz in the future and I'll be trying out the other scents.

We had previously adopted an older dog so we had no experience with potty training. We had a rough few weeks with accidents and messes. We have finally trained our Tony to sit near the door when he has to go potty. We lay a Hartz pad in front of the door for him to sit on when he is waiting to be let out. Sometimes, we are not quick enough and he leaks onto the pad. This pad is lavender scented, so there is no smell of urine when he pees on this pad. It is really soaks up everything and is a great product. We recommend these pads to all of our dog parents!
