This is just one of more then we can count. This is by far Princeton's most favorite toy. He is always sleeping with it very close by. Even though it is tore up, and only pulls about 1/2" he totally loves it. He is so smart that he knows how to hold the tail with his feet and puts the body with his mouth and lets go hoping it will vibrate again and again and he never gives up. I have been searching for him to find a replacement. I lucked out tonight.

Looks almost real

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats love this toy. I only wish the string was a bit longer so the mouse would scurry a little more. It's very soft and my younger cat has the most fun with it. The older of the 2 was a bit nervous at first. The big baby had never seen a large mouse. Only the occasional very small field mouse. It might be a good idea to make a smaller size one as well. I would definitely purchase both sizes.

Cute, but not a lot of motion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this toy as a part of Hartz Happy Tails program. A toy that wiggled and moved sounded great for my 4 cats. You pull the tail, and the mouse "runs" around. Unfortunately it only runs for about 6 inches. Not enough time for the cats to get engaged. One of my cats did enjoy picking it up and tossing it into the air. It needs to run/move around a lot more to make it a top item.

The only toy my cart plays with!

My cat has been obsessed with these toys for years, it's the only toy he plays with! He only likes the original grey or black fur ones though, the newer ones (Brown, rainbow) are silkier and he refuses to play with them. Unfortunately he's on his last one now and I haven't been able to find more in the original colour - any idea where I can find one in Canada????

Keeps my Dog Very Interested

My terrier is always looking for new things to pique his interest. This time, I chose a cat toy and he has had so much fun playing with it. He holds it in his mouth (gently) and I pull the tail. The vibrations make him drop it and try again. I don't leave it around on the floor for him to break, but bring it out for him every 2-3 weeks. He's crazy about it!

Adorable Mouse!

She also likes to also grab it and bunny kick it with her back legs! It's a very cute toy. They only thing is my Siberian Husky loves it too and tries to steal it from her! I might have to get him one.

Fast and fun toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I received the toy to try for free my cat knew it was for him. I took it out of the package and pulled the string and let it go. My cat jumped up and ran away. It took a couple times for the cat to realize it was for him to play with. Once he did-he couldn’t get enough. It’s his favorite toy.

Very entertaining!

The second my cat isn’t looking, she grabs it & runs away with it. They both love chasing it & I love that it runs without the hassle of batteries!

This looked good in the packaging

I bought this 4 hours ago. Brought it home and pulled the tail to wind it up. On the 4th pull the tail came off. My kids were interested and probably still will be once I sew the tail back on. It is a very interesting toy to my kids, but the quality of manufacture is very poor.

They barely played with this unless I sprayed liquid catnip on it then they went nuts but other then that, they didn't care for it.

Colorful guy!

Favorite Dog toy!!!

This is my dog favorite toy by far. She rolls on her back and puts the tail in her mouth and pushes the mouse and loves the vibration. She has gone through about 10 of them because she is constantly playing with them. Please don't ever discontinue this toy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This running rodent is a cute at toy but it needs a longer string so it will run longer. My old cat just gets interested about the time the string runs out. It could be softer, too, as the hard metal is rough on a cat's mouth and teeth.

Very disappointed.

I bought this for my 3 month old kitten and was excited to give it to her. It is right up her alley with other toys she really enjoys. Unfortunately, in less than 5 minutes it stopped running/vibrating and the tail and string came out.

My Dog Loves this Mouse Toy!

I buy about 3 a week from Safeway because my chihuahua mix absolutely loves this toy. He holds the tail in his mouth and it comes out to make the mouse shake like a live critter. His favorite toy ever. I have to keep buying more!

Waste of money

I bought this toy today and showed it to my cat. After pulling the tail to make it move, the toy moved 6 inches in a quarter circle. There is no way a cat can chase it as it barely moves.
It wont even go in a straight line

It runs in a very tight circle for no more than one second. Before my cat is interested the toy has stopped moving. I'm not sure if it's supposed to go in a straight line or not, and there is no description from Hartz.

Older cat wasn't interested

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this about a week ago. Older cat only interested in the tail movement as it retracts. Once the movement stops, so did his interest. Toy doesn't move well on carpet, so it's a "smooth floor only" toy.

I Brought 4 of these and all 4 broke within a half hour, the tails detached/broke and sting went up into the rodent, so no more vibrate or movement,, very disappointed.
