(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Actually I've known about this product a long time ago, but i wasn't sure if it is good for our dog or not, and it was pretty expensive to just purchase a bag to test for my dogs. so I was hesitate to purchase it. This time I got a free a bag(whole bag!!!) of the treat, so I finally had a test with my dogs. they incredibly love it!!! We bought another brand before and that smells a lot(fish smell) from the treat but this one is nothing I can smell, so that would be much better for our dogs teeth health as well. I love it and would love to buy it bulk when I need it.
My dog really likes these... But he still has dog breathe, and these things are awfully expensive. Sometimes it isn't horrible, but sometimes... I wonder what the heck we're buying these for because his breath is still pretty bad. I have them on subscribe & save.... but always find myself wondering if it's worth it. Keeping it at 4 stars, because my dog has a sensitive stomach that these don't upset and they are his favorite treat (the only food/treats we've found so far that don't give him diarrhea are Blue Buffalo Lamb and the Nutro crunchy treats and biscuits).
I’m a professional service dog trainer, and have been for many years. I’ve used just about every treat/toy/kibble out there, at one time or another. Regarding, Greenies, they are the absolute bottom of my list. I’ve seen it happen multiple times (thankfully not with one of my dogs), that the Greenies dental treats have caused an intestinal blockage. They don’t digest well in most canines, and can lead to a horribly traumatic (not to mention expensive) surgical procedure to remove the blockage. I would recommend just about anything else available on the market.
I absolutely adore Greenies treats for my pups@ They love them too. All I have to say is, "who wants to brush their teeth!!?" and they come running. They love the taste so much they so all the tricks I can think of to get them. lol
I really love the long lasting, fresh breath it gives them. all while actually cleaning their teeth for a healthy mouth. I give the original fresh dog breath treat 10 out of 10. Definitely worth every cent and they are not too much money to begin with. Thanks Greenies, for helping everyone in my house when it comes to my dogs breath!
I needed to share this wonderful experience of my adopted Shih Tzu/terrier that enforces the quality and enjoyably of Greenies. Poohbear eats twice a day and after every meal he looks for a Greenie for desert. I gladly give it to him because I can't stand 'doggie breathe'. For the past year of giving Poohbear a Grennie for dessert, I can gladly say he has no doggie breathe and his teeth are whiter than mine. Maybe I should also have a Greenie for dessert to help whiten my teeth and cut down on cigarette breathe!
Maria
Thanks for this great product!!!!
My dog, Pibbles the Pit Bull Princess, loves Greenies! So much that she will sit in front of the entryway to the kitchen by the buffet where the treats sit in their jars (yes, jarS) and stare at the Greenies. Stare them down. She will remain motionless and obviously in everyone's way until she gets her Greenie (or her other dental treat). She much prefers the Greenies over the other brand, but they are expensive, so she doesn't get them all the time. If they were cheaper, she might. And they might get a 5 rating. p.s. She does have nice teeth!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used them as rewards for the command here . Her recall needs a little work and I worry about her safety if her responding to here is poor. Once a day, I'd give her a Greenie as a reward to responding to Here! and she seemed to thoroughly enjoy it! My husband and I waited patiently after the first time, preparing ourselves for a sleepless night of doggy diarrhea as our little girl suffers from allergies and many food intolerances. She gets the Hershey Squirts easily. This was a wonderful surprise to find and to work in as a new treat to put in her rotation that doesn't bother her. I also happy to report that we're almost done our first purchased bag and her recall / response to the command here is much, much better. Thank you!
I wouldn't say it "cleans" your pups teeth like a normal brush and toothpaste would, but it definitely does a nice job of freshening their breath! My chocolate lab loves munching on them, although he does get through them pretty quickly, so they're more like a quick treat for him. My chihuahua also loves them and she definitely takes longer to get through a bone. Definitely worth it for smaller dogs that need a longer chewy treat and fresher breath! Larger dogs definitely benefit from them, too, just don't expect it to last long if they're a chewer.
I have a 4 year old very beautiful pitbull, who is my best friend, as well as the pickiest eater. I swear on everything, you can put a cheeseburger in front if him & he won't touch it, if there's anything on there that he doesn't think he will like.....but & it's a big buttttttt considering how picky he is., he loooooves greenies! He doesn't have bad breath, but they're healthy & boy does he love these treats! They are expensive, but he loves them & they make him happy, so it's worth it! Greeniestm Original Regular Daily Dental Treats For Dogs 65
I was very surprised that these actually work, but my old doggo can't eat raw anymore and his breath has been KICKIN. I started giving him either half or one of these a day when he runs back in after going out to potty (might as well reinforce recall) and i do think it has helped a lot, and i definitely notice when he hasn't been getting these. Will it cure bad breath all on its own? No. But will it work in conjunction with other breath products (mypetlab dental additive too)? i say yes. Im much more willing to let my old man snuggle up now.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My dog didn't take to the treats for a while they just sat near his bowl and he didn't touch them. Finally after a couple days he tried one and ate some of it but didn't finish it. My dog eventually finished the greenies product but I don't think it was one of his favorites or it wasn't a flavor that he enjoyed otherwise he would have woofed it down. The benefits of this product though are exceptional and dental health is very important for your pet so I would recommend these just based on the facts that it helps with oral care for your pet.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about these Dental dog treats. And for the price, I was expecting my dogs to poop out gold. But unfortunately, I was disappointed. Yes, it did what it claimed. My dogs breath was fresher than usual. However I wasn’t expecting the vomiting and diarrhea. It made both of my dogs sick. At first I assumed, that it was just my dogs as they both have sensitive stomachs. But when I spoke with my other in law about what happened, she too said her dogs had the same problem and that Greenies can be harsh on the stomach.
I've been giving my dog GREENIES Original Dental Treats daily, and the results have been fantastic! Not only have I noticed a significant improvement in their breath, but their teeth look cleaner too. It's impressive how these treats, with their chewy texture, make my dog excited every time. It's clear they love the taste, and I love knowing I'm contributing to their dental health and overall well-being. The fact that these treats are vet recommended and made with natural ingredients gives me peace of mind. They're easy for my dog to digest, which is a huge plus. If you're looking for a simple way to maintain your dog's oral hygiene while keeping them happy, I highly recommend GREENIES Dog Treats. They're a game-changer for small to medium dogs!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We had a difficult time finding the product at our local pet store. It seems they don’t carry the sample sized bags for small dogs. Purchased the higher size cut the product in half to ensure it was right dose for my dog. He seemed to really enjoy it, but prefers the smaller bones made for his size(10 pounds) best. The remaining Greenies in sample bag were shared with another family member’s dog who similarly seemed to enjoy them. Only word of caution to offer is to not give too many as they can lead to loose stools. Thank you for opportunity to try the Greenies. We have gone through a lot of different dental chew products most get rejected by our picky little man. The Greenies are a keeper have become a part of our weekly treat rotation.
What dog doesn’t love treats? I couldn’t find the senior teenie to review so please keep in mind my review is based on these! I have a pug and he is 9 years old. I love getting the NON-SENIOR greenies for him for a very specific reason: the senior greenies are toooooo soft. If your dog has weak teeth I definitely recommend them but if your dog is older but in overall good health - get the regular ones because the purpose of these treats are to be a little touch so they clean their teeth! Otherwise my pug just swallows these up whole haha!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) At first my dogs didn't know what tomake of this product and weren't that interested in it, so I smeared a bit of chicked juice on them, which seemed to do the trick. My bigger dog liked it very much, and goes back to his Greenie every day, but my small dog isn't as interested, and only goes back every few days. I like that is dooesn't have any sugar or any harmful chemicals. It does seem to get at the tartar and food build-up on their teeth-so it does work like it claims. Overall-good product, safe for all dogs, most dogs will like it.
My name is Mr. Wilson and I am now a rough, tough 7 year old Westie who everybody loves. The Postman and the Bank Teller always give me Milkbones when we visit, which I like, but I "LOVE" my Teenie Greenies because they taste good and make my breath smell great all day long! I've told my other friends about them here in Northern Maine so now my Mom & Dad will not give them my treats anymore since their parent's have now bought them their own! Me and all of my canine friends have great dental checkups with our Vet! Mmmmmm, a must have!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My dog is fussy when it comes to her treats. Over the years there have only been two that she always eats, I gave up trying with others, I did try Dentabone the white one and she didn't like it. I honestly thought she definitely wouldn't like these but I was very surprised she did lol. She has been having one everyday since trying the sample. Makes me feel good giving her something natural and good for her because one of her treats aren't and I feel guilty about it but she has been having them for years and expects it at certain times
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have two little Yorkies that I find are pretty picky when it comes to treat… when I gave them the greenies, they really enjoyed them! I picked out the teeny ones which were definitely a perfect size for their little snouts :). I find that it keeps their breath pretty fresh, especially if they’re having soft food which usually leaves their breath pretty stinky lol!
I would recommend these, especially if somebody has a small dog and they’re looking for some good quality small treats that at least take them a little time to enjoy :)
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My vet's office recommends Greenies to help with oral health. My dog loved this product and was looking for another one right away(she can be fussy) I did purchase a large bag right after trying these and have shared with a couple of the neighbors' dogs (they now love me) I find it hard to brush my dog's teeth-she was a rescue who was used as a breeder in a puppy mill, so she wasn't used to being handled much-especially for teeth brushing. There treats help me feel as though I am helping her mouth stay healthier. Thank you so much.
My dogs are both 7 years old@so they are now considered senior dogs, we used these as puppies. They serve their purpose and deff provide a fresh breath, but I don’t think the fresh breath last. Our boys don’t use them anymore and haven’t for a few years and they get compliments from the vet every time. They have beautiful@teeth and they keep them that way by chewing on real sticks and pine cones. If they start having dental issues we will consider using greenies again. They are decent priced but not necessary as far as I’m concerned.
These are wonderful to keep your canine's teeth clean. The problem is I have a Siberian Husky, and if given the proper way (one a day) the "Large Value Pack" does not even last a month. Already paying more than a buck a day, gets expensive. But only coming in a 24 count quantity as the "Large Value Pack" makes no sense (missing 6 for a 30 day month). I would have no problem buying 13 boxes a year (30 days times 12 months, and "an extra" to cover the other 7 months that have 31 days and the times than an "extra" may be needed if my "girl of the canine persuasion" has the rare "nasty breath" days and could use two in a day). The smaller sizes come in "month quantities" or better, but not the large and that is the size I need for an over 50# Canine.

We love, love love Greenies for our dogs. We have 3 rescues and they are constantly busy going one way while we’re usually going the other way! So it’s tough to stop and physically brush each dog’s teeth once or twice a week. We don’t feel guilty when we give them a Greenie weekly because we know it’s cleaning the tarter off and giving them fresh breath. They just think we’re giving them treats so it’s a win for all! Always consistent with same ingredients and extremely priced especially considering what it’s for. Highly recommend!
I have 2 dogs and they LOVE greenies. One dog (a yorkie) is very picky with his treats. We’ve given him the peanut butter cookies, the different types of soft biscuit treats from PetSmart and he hated them. Put it in his mouth and spat it right out. Whereas the greenies, he literally jumps for joy when he sees it. I’ve watched him eat it and he loves chewing on it and then swallows it whole. Because it’s a medium effort for him to eat it, it is usually a good distraction when we leave the house so he doesn’t notice we left. It’s 2 benefits - my dog loves it & it cleans his nasty breath & teeth. I also like to break the greenies apart and use it as treats to teach him new tricks. We buy this product whenever we run out because it’s a win-win situation!
My babies love these so they get an A+ for flavor. However, I am cautious as a pet parent. These are hard chews that ever so slightly soften when eaten. I have one fur baby with sensitive teeth so I am concerned she may hurt her teeth or have breakage eating such a hard treat. I have another senior baby who has a bad habit of swallowing his treats once it breaks off and small enough for him to have in a his mouth. That being said I do think these can present a choking hazard. These would be great in bite sized form or made in a softer version. I don’t really see a difference in their dental heath especially since my dogs eat them a little unconventionally. Greenies don’t have much of a texture on the exterior so I’m not sure if it’s able to scrape plaque.
We thank you for the honest review! Consumer feedback is important to us so we will make all of your comments available to our quality team. If you would like to discuss this further, we would love the opportunity to speak with you! Please contact our Pet Parent Partners on our website at https://www.GREENIES.com/contact-us or please send

A MUST have for all

A MUST have for all dog owners. Not only do my dogs love Greenies Original Large Dog Dental Treats but it cleans their teeth, promotes good oral health, and best of all leaves their breath fresh in between teeth brushing. There is also a “fresh” flavour available that has mint added for freshness. We all know how bad that puppy breath can get, but you’re in luck cause your dogs will love these bones as much as you love the results. I prefer to get the large boxes rather than the bags because you get more bones for a better value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Run, run, run to the store to get these for your pups! I have two mixed breed pups aged 5 and 4 and they LOVE these treats. My one pup who is a terrier mix is so picky about everything. Food, treats, you name it! If he doesn’t like it, he turns his little nose up at it and walks away. My other pup is a golden mix and is not picky at all. He eats whatever we put out for him. So for my super picky pup to really love these days a lot! And they are good for their teeth which is super beneficial! Would definitely recommend to others!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This has become my dogs favourite tree she absolutely does it is the only treat she does every single trick she knows. As soon as she hears us open up the packaging she’s rated our feet, we loved that there was an option for size in the treats, because she is a smaller breed. I feel really good giving her this because it helps her oral health. We also really like that it helps with her dental care because she is very difficult to get her teeth brushed and this just gives us added peace of mind and we give them to her every day.
My dog is obsessed with Greenies Original Dental Dog Treats! Anytime we give him one, he gobbles it up with such enjoyment. We initially purchased these to help maintain my Akita-German Shepherd’s teeth clean and healthy, and man, did he take to them. They are a pricey product since we have to buy the large size, but he only gets one every other day or every few days so they last him a while. This has become his favorite treat and he will literally spin in joy for one of these, so Greenies will always have a place in our home.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Our puppy is very fussy and selective in what he likes/ dislikes. It’s also not so easy to brush his teeth regularly, so these
dental treats seem to help in between the brushes. He is a small puppy, so he gets a quarter at a time, so these treats are part of his diet quite regularly. I trust the brand and I like the fact that our puppy could try these treats first, before purchasing them in stores. I absolutely love samplesource and I appreciate when I have the chance to try different products, before purchasing them.
