(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Thank you SampleSource for gifting Greenies Dental Dog Treats
My old Dog Lexi often has bad breath. I don’t like feeding her a pile of high calorie treats. But Greenies Dental Treats are the perfect “good-for-you” treat, and freshens her breath at the same time- bonus!
My dog is not the most cooperative photo taker but I managed to her
And the treats in a shot. She LOVES these treats. I have bought them before, and she would sit at the pantry door basically begging for more. Let’s just say that she is still begging but knows I will give her 1 small Greenie Dental Treat a day to keep her breath fresh.
I think my pup Lexi gives this treat 5/5⭐️ it’s a winner!
I have a Mariupol and he absolutely love the Greenie dental toothbrush treats. I have been feeding them this treats for about almost a year now. Any time my dog do something worth praise, they immediately go to the cupboard and beg for a Greenie treat. and my dog devour the treats in less than a minute. My dog mouth turn into ‘water falls’ with slobber when he knows hes getting a Greenie. I also like that these treats don’t make as big as a mess on the floor, like many other treats, after my dogs consume them. I have tried many other treats but there are none I have tried that my dogs like as much as the Greenies.
My dog is a 6-yr-old Lab/Golden mix, and she absolutely loves Greenies. She will do anything for a Greenies treat. I'm convinced she would dance on her toes if she were able. Sometimes, when she is in the yard, I will hide a Greenies treat in the house. When she comes inside, she immediately catches the scent and races through the house searching for it. When she finds it, she races to the family room and leaps onto her pillow to enjoy her treat, wagging her tail ecstatically. It is the highlight of her day, and such a joy to watch. And the pill pockets are an answer to a prayer. She eagerly awaits her medications.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been using Greenies dog treats for my fur baby and I am extremely satisfied with the results. These treats are not only delicious, but they also provide numerous health benefits for my dog.
One of the main reasons I decided to switch to Greenies was because of their focus on dental health. My dog tends to have bad breath and build-up on her teeth, but since incorporating Greenies into her diet, her breath has improved significantly and I have noticed a reduction in tartar build-up.
Overall, I highly recommend Greenies to any dog owner looking for a healthy and tasty treat option for their furry riend.
Blueberry...how can you go wrong!? The company 'enhanced' a simple 'greenie', into a healthy snack for your pups. They are bite size, just the numb from a whole greenie. Blueberries are sooo good for both humans and animals! They have a strong blueberry odor and my dogs are not turned off by the scent. They really like them and because of the strong scent, my senior gal of 14 with cognitive disfunction is very attracted to them for her snack diet! The bag has a self seal and is full of these little bites. They do run on the pricey side, but that's the price you pay for a healthy snack and to keep your pups happy!
I got a Greenies dental chew for my dog because I'd seen all the commercials about how good they are, and stupid me, I fell for it. Thank goodness I only bought one to try out. My dog seemed to love it, at first. He got excited at the smell, and happily chewed away, but not 10 minutes after finishing, he was throwing up green all over the house! These things must have something in them that's bad for dogs because he was sick for over an hour, and looked really upset and uncomfortable after he finally finished emptying his stomach from the Greenies chew. I definitely won't be giving him any more of these things!
These were recommended by the pet store as being the best teeth chews available. After using them for several months, the vet said our Havanese's teeth were fine and needed no further treatment or cleaning. He doesn't eat them as readily as he does his Wellness treats but, he does eat them after a few moments when he realizes there is nothing else coming. Encouraging is that he breaks off pieces and chews hard which is what dental chews are all about. I guess if he liked them as much as his treats, he'd swallow without chewing, defeating their purpose. Overall, a good product which we will continue to use.
My little Pomeranian Chewy is the cutest dog you’ll ever see, her breath on the other hand... We tried brushing her teeth, but she was having none of that! Then we tried adding stuff to her water, but she would turn her cute little snoot up at that too. Greenies was the answer to our little dog’s, big breath problem. She loves the taste, and starts dancing every morning because she knows she’s going to get to “brush her teeth”. Not only has this product helped her breath issues, but at a recent vet check up, the doctor mentioned what great shape her teeth were in for her age. Chewy highly recommends Greenies.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have one dog who is very finicky and doesn’t like anything too hard to chew. He is a 10 year old Shorkie with tiny teeth who is also missing some of them. Quite often when I offer him a treat, he will sniff it and walk away however when I offered him a Greenies, he took it without hesitation and went right over to his bed and started chewing. It was perfect for him as it wasn’t too hard yet it wasn’t too soft either. He ate it up pretty quickly and was back looking for more.
I like the fact he was able to chew it without any issues as many other brands of dental treats are too hard for him. Well done!!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The second I got home my dog KNEW there was something special in my bag. She followed me around until I revealed her new Greenies! I opened the bag and the aroma hit her like a ton of bricks and she danced her little feet off. I gave her one and she quickly retreated to her special bone chewing spot under the table. I didn’t see her again for a half hour when she appeared she looked happy satisfied I could tell she wanted more because of the way she told me with her eyes “give me another Greenie”! Great treats for great dogs bonus that they’ll have great teeth due to the oral health aspect of this product! Even the vet noticed she has a great set of choppers! Thanks Greenies!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My puppy had extremely bad breath up until we started using the Greenies.. I have a Pomchi and the size of the greenies was easy and perfect size for her small mouth.. She chews them and likes them almost more than her treats..I purchase another bag to have on hand for when she finished the complimentary bag.. Greenies is a product I trust and feel confident feeds them to her.. I have even recommended them to others who I believe their dog would benefit from.. I found the price reasonable and available at all the stores I shop at.. I have also purchased for my large dog.. Both my dogs enjoy them..
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My dog, Muggles, loves the greenies! He grabs it then runs off to eat the treat. He is okay with eating the treat and it does not upset his stomach/bowels so I will most likely purchase again. I was not able to find the smaller size treats at my local store, so I got the regular size. It was a little large of a treat for my 20lb Shih tzu, I think the smaller size would be better for everyday use for him. He thoroughly enjoyed the larger treat though, lol. I would also like if there was 7 treats in the bag instead of 6, then I could feed 1 a day and it would last until my next weekly shopping trip.
Both my golden retriever/Catahoula leopard dog mixes adore these treats. They get one every night before bed. And simply can't wait for their night time walk. They will nudge us until we bring them out and then race inside and sit until they get them. The larger ones for 50+ lb dogs just seemed too big for my 55 lb girls so we use the regular size for them. They do take about 1-2 minutes to eat the treats so the large one might clean better but we are careful about calories as well. Not noticing any weight gain as this sleek body line of the Catahoula leopard breed would be quickly obvious. Their breath is better than before using the dental treats and our vet is happy with their health.
My dog, (an Aussie) just recently had to get her teeth pulled. They were starting to fallout and were starting to cause her a great deal of pain. The Vet said to start feeding her chewy dental treats with soft food. I was told that Greenies were healthy and amazing for older dogs. I bought some at the local market and my Aussie went to town on them!
She loves the taste, (I picked up 'boiled chicken' ones) loves how chewy they are, and I love seeing her eating and chewing on things again. I also picked up some Pill Pockets made by Greenie so I'm assuming she'll take to them like a duck in water.
My dog needs his teeth brushed and I’m not doing it so this should be the answer. The problem is, I just can’t tell if my dog likes these. He rarely eats the greenie right away. He takes it from me and runs around in circles in the apartment crying with with it until he buries it into a pillow or something of mine. I always find the buried Greenie eventually which is why I know he doesn’t eat them right away. However, they do disappear eventually so it’s unclear how he feels. Part of me thinks he actually hates them but he eats them when he’s desperate and that’s all there is to eat.....
Greenies Holiday Limited Edition treats combine festive packaging with dental health benefits, making them a perfect holiday gift for any dog.

I recently purchased the Greenies Holiday Limited Edition Packaging Regular treats for my dog, and I am thoroughly impressed. Not only do these treats maintain the same high quality and dental benefits that Greenies are known for, but the festive holiday packaging adds an extra layer of fun and cheer to the product. The limited edition design is visually appealing and makes for a great holiday gift for any pet owner. My dog absolutely loves the taste, and I appreciate the peace of mind knowing these treats are helping to clean his teeth and freshen his breath. Overall, Greenies has once again delivered an excellent product that combines health benefits with holiday spirit. Highly recommended!
As a VOHC certified product, I enjoy using products that are used and recommended by veterinarians. My only struggle with this product is the conflict of having a dental product for my dogs that is awfully hard. My veterinarian recommends snacks that are soft enough to leave a nail impression and these are harder than I can leave a nail impression on.
I would still recommend this product to other pet owners, especially if they’re not brushing their dogs’s teeth nor getting dental cleanings with their vet. A little bit of protection and preventive care is better than absolutely nothing at all.
I was between paychecks when I started to run out of the dental bones. I broke them in half to last a little longer. Then I told my cocker spaniel, that I had no more and had to buy some. She looked at me as if to say, “So!?! Go buy some!” (ROFLOL)
My Longhaired Chihuahua mixed w. something, has the culinary high standards of Chef Ramsey combined with a pampered prince. My Chihuahua also heartily endorses this product. My mom made the faux pas of buying Kirkland (Costco’s) dental bones. I did a taste test. I offered both. My Chihuahua chose Greenies in a second with no looking back. :D
I am still on a tight budget. I will always buy Greenies. I would rather pay a little extra for quality.
Would really give this product zero stars if possible. After feeding my Chihauhau-poodle mix greenies for approx one month she developed runny bloody stools, then proceeded to start vomiting. While the package provides a warning about ensuring your pet thoroughly chew the Greenie it should also note the addition issues this product could cause. It seems this is not an isolated issue and have seen this has been occurring with some regularity. With the potential for significant health issues for any pet the company may want to reconsider allowing this product to remain on the market.
Did you know that small dog's have the same amount of teeth as large dog's? Small dog's are notorious for bad teeth and usually end up losing teeth to decay faster than large dog's. My dachshund Rusty has already had teeth pulled twice even though he regularly get's his teeth cleaned at the Vet's office. Greenies are a great way to help him in between Vet visits. They also help A LOT with breath oder issues and were recommended by my Vet. Rusty loves them and they are good for him so I don't mind feeding him these treats! We all love our fur babies so let's give them the best!
Greenie time is the best part of Boo Boo and Odie’s day! There’s no messing with their routine: Dinner, play time (as their humans simultaneously eat their own dinner with one hand while throwing a ball with the other), nightly W-A-L-K (oh nuts they heard me spell it out), jewelry (chain collars) comes off, human washes hands, then GREENIE!!!! Who knew a doggy toothbrush would be more appealing than a fine cut of meat? And we know, the humans run a fine dining restaurant and Boo Boo and Odie reap all the benefits! Just had to shout it from this side of the fence - WE LOVE GREENIES!
My lil man loves these treats, and thank god because he doesn’t let me anywhere near him with things like nail clippers or toothbrushes unless he’s heavily medicated, and I hate putting him through that stress and dealing with him snarky little puppy attitude the rest of the day. These treats are durable so that my dog can try his best to chew them up and eat them asap, but take hours for him to destroy to that level and in that time, they’ve done a pretty decent job at removing buildup on his biting surface. They also slightly improve his breath, so these are a must have for him!
Greenies Holiday Limited Edition Original Dental Treats maintain the brand's reputation for effectiveness in promoting oral health in dogs. The festive packaging adds a seasonal touch, making it a fun holiday gift for pets. These treats are known for their pleasant scent, which is appealing but not overwhelming. Taste-wise, dogs seem to find them irresistible, which helps in consistent use for dental benefits. While the price may be a bit higher due to the limited edition nature, many pet owners find the value for money satisfactory given the product's quality and effectiveness.
Please read this review before giving to your pet. I purchased these for my pug and she did fine with the first greenie. She really liked it and chewed and gobbled it up no problem. The next day I noticed she did not eat her dog food so we we held off on any treats. The third day she began vomiting and finally passed a chunk of undigested greenie a little smaller than a golf ball. It thankfully did not make it past her stomach. I am so glad it did not pass into her intestinal track and cause a possible obstruction. We have no greenies in our home anymore and never will.
My little Rat Terrier Pepper LOVES THESE! And thank goodness, we didn't plan on getting a dog. Our neighbors were just not taking care of her, I'm not working right now (medical reasons ) so I haven't been able to get her teeth cleaned professionally, and due to mistreatment she wasn't real open to the whole brushing thing. And her teeth were so nasty. We have given her a Greenie a day since around May first when we got her, WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! Even that first month I wasn't brushing them. Kisses are a major part of Pepper's lifestyle, so she likes to stay fresh
I hate hate hate these, if I could give 0 stars I would. Dogs like these a lot, but it makes their poop green. I have read the ingredients and everything in the treat is so bad for your dog. Please do not buy these. If your dog has bad breath I recommend buying a Set Of 6 Dog Toothbrushes Six Gentle Finger Toothbrushesgreat For Small Medium Or Large Dogspetscanine Dental Hygiene Brushes Pinkyellowblue so that you can introduce the dog to brushing it's teeth slowly. If you go to stick some random object like a toothbrush in a dogs mouth, they are going to freak out. So use your fingers and let them smell the brush first. I also recommend buying the Vets Best Dental Gel 35 Oz And using that to clean their teeth.

your dog does not prefer these treats, but you accept that some dogs do, why would you not recognize that it is a "no-fault" situation. My dog absolutely loves the Greenies Original, but that's just my dog. I did have a bag appear to go bad on me, but that may have been that the bag was not sealed shut properly, and only that one time. We've been using these more for the treat value than anything to do with cleaning. Vets tell me they're not "all that". Nonetheless, we like them and will continue buying them because it buys me a few minutes to my thoughts when I get home.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My dog doesn't fancy chewing, only as needed and tempted basis. Apart from the obvious, his daily meals and random snacks; hardly get to see his teeth showing. So, I teased him with some snacks then gave him a Greenies; mimicking it as a toothbrush to lure him as he enjoys getting his teeth cleaned. I guess the smell enticed him, so he placed it on the ground and started licking till it softens. A smart little boy who knows what's best to do to care for his teeth, he knows this great treat helps to maintain his teeth yet it's also something he can toy with for a bit.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Actually I've known about this product a long time ago, but i wasn't sure if it is good for our dog or not, and it was pretty expensive to just purchase a bag to test for my dogs. so I was hesitate to purchase it. This time I got a free a bag(whole bag!!!) of the treat, so I finally had a test with my dogs. they incredibly love it!!! We bought another brand before and that smells a lot(fish smell) from the treat but this one is nothing I can smell, so that would be much better for our dogs teeth health as well. I love it and would love to buy it bulk when I need it.
