Do Not Buy...problems with both of ours.
il y a 2 ans
This chair has many design flaws. My wife and I have both had ours less than 6 months (mine has only been used 4 times, because I am usually coaching). My wife's carry strap broke first time using it. Its very difficult to get closed, she usually has to put it on the ground and push it all the way closed so it can be strapped. My wife has lost/broke several of the bolts/pins connecting joints and I have had to repair. We finally scrapped hers and bought a different chair (Dicks would not return). My chair (remember only used a few times) has a snapped leg. Looks like the hole for a bolt/pin was drilled over 3/4 the size of the leg, making it structurally deficient (again, Dicks would not return).
The only plus, the chair was comfortable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chairs are great! Comfortable sitting position plus rocking. They fold easily and the clasp is just the right length to “batten down the hatches”. One thing I would say if asked for an improvement thought is that the shoulder strap - I love the fact that it’s built-in to the chair, yet it seems to tend to want to slip off my shoulder while carryigng multiple things to a ballfield. Maybe a bit of a grippy pad on the strap to help hold in place? Thank you for literally changing the game when it comes to outdoor seating!

Bought this chair for my mom on Mother’s Day and accidentally bought this rocker instead of the other design and for what I would say that this chair is terrible, no headrest, destroys your back, and always at an angle so when you try to sit in it normally you are tilted back so you have to lean forward which is inefficient. The chair strap is extremely hard to stay on your shoulder so carrying it is always a hassle. I do not recommend buying this type of chair under any circumstances besides being shorter then 4’5

Height, width, arm rests, the way it folds, and the integrated carry strap all make this chair a win. The way it rocks (literally the design engineering) can make it pretty uncomfortable on anything but solid, level ground. On a barely noticeable rise (lawn, edge of sports field) I felt I was sliding forward and having to ,úbrace off,ù the ground with my feet. The simple fix is finding something to prop up the front legs of the chair, or just saving this one for the tarmac.
Checks all the boxes for me. Have 2 of them for 2 yrs. Low profile when folded, carrying strap, vented back and no carrying bag needed. One rivet did crack but simple fix with stainless steel bolt, washers and nut. Like all GCI products, innovative and high quality. I have the Master Cook Camp Kitchen, both folding tables and these rockers. Great products! I attend tear drop camper rallies all the time and brag about your products to my friends there all the time.

I bought these as gifts for two tall people (Road Trip and Comfort Pro). The Road Trip sits taller (too tall for myself 5'2" cuts into the back of my legs) than the Comfort Pro, has hard arms and hanging drink holder and a snap to hold it closed. Very comfortable though for taller person who likes the more supportive arms. The Comfort Pro sits a bit lower has carry strap instead and soft cloth arms which built in drink holder. They both were very nice!
We bought 2 of these chairs in 2021. Early on last year (2022) we found that the material binding on the arms was starting to fray. We contacted GCI and they did replace the chairs. Well about a month ago we noticed that the material on the arms was again starting to fray. It seems the binding material is not meant to be used to a chair which sits outside on a patio, in the shade, with fraying. They reall need to find and use a better material!!

Would have been a home run, but …. Bought online as an early Mother's day gift last week in April 23, this Sunday May 2, about 5 uses in, carry strap broke at the rivet.
Now without the carry strap, wife has to carry this bulky chair, kids gear, and her gear back to the car. Maybe just a bad chair, but I cannot recommend this model, especially if the main selling point, a carry strap, does not function after one weekend of soccer and baseball.

Best Chair Ever…..l live in Margaritaville , FL and nothing come remotely close to the comfort and quality of the Pro Rocker!
I own 6 GCI chairs….2 XL Freestyle rockers with side tables, 4-Pro Comfort Pro Rockers (2-Spring Edition (Margaritaville)
The engineering design is 2nd to none that are even close to an Amazon clone and manufacturing quality in stitching is made to last seasons of memorable times.
Hope you like my review!,Bye Bye
The chair was well packed and it arrived on time. Shipping was fast! The colors are attractive and it is well built and sturdy. The rocker feature is awesome and the chair is comfortable. The mesh back feels cooler than my last camp chair. The beverage holder is deep and the phone pocket is handy. I like that the carry strap is connected to the chair so i don't have to stuff the chair in a bag. I would purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really haven’t had the opportunity to use this chair yet. This is a replacement chair that GCI sent me (free) because my other chair broke while I was rocking in it. I had the 1st rocker a couple years and always had problems folding it up when finished with it. Other than that the chair was very comfortable and convenient. It was great that GCI Outdoor stood by their product and I am very thankful for that!

I have had the pro Rocker for about a year now and it is the best chair for the outdoors that I have ever had. It sits great, and the rocking ability really gives it that edge over other outdoor chairs. I would recommend this chair to all my friends, and whoever else is looking for a great outdoor chair.

I just ordered my wife the Kickback Rocker, and she is very excited about it.

These are excellent camp chairs, the rocker is excellent and they hold a lot of weight (250lbs no problem) and feel super sturdy. They travel easy, have a carry strap, and compact like any other folding camp chair but are way more comfortable with the rocking feature. The forward legs allow you to lean forward with our any fear of falling forward (great for roasting s'mores / anything over the campfire).
Very frustrating to closeup.Pick a different chair

Gets increasingly difficult to close up over time. At this point I have to jiggle and squeeze it really hard for several minutes just to close it up. Which puts a lot of strain on the frame and bolts. It’s probably the most frustrating chair I’ve ever seen. It’s comfortable to sit in just a huge pain to put away. Our previous rocker xl’s were great. I would def not buy these again though.

Terrible Quality
il y a 11 jours
I bought 2 of these chairs 2 years ago at the Winnebago GNR, Within 3 months rivets came out and chair was usless with very little use. I was able to exchange the broken chairs at last years GNR where we bought them. This time, again with very little use, Rivets again have broken making the chairs useless. The quality is terrible and I would not recommend these self destructive chairs to anyone.

I received my first Pro
il y a 6 mois
I received my first Pro Rocker for Mother's Day this year and a screw was lost in one of the legs by August. I sent in a claim to GCI Outdoor and all I had to do was submit a few photos of my broken chair and they let me choose a new chair color and shipped my new chair all in about a week. All I had to pay was shipping costs. Hopefully my new chair lasts a little longer than the other one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chair is very comfortable. Love the rocking motion but comfortable just for sitting too. Other models have a bar which hits the back of your legs. This chair does NOT have that feature because the seat design is different. Also the back is high and the arm rests are wide and comfy. The fabric is also soft so molds to your body which we like as well. Chairs fold easily and are easy to transport.

The chair is nice, however the seat height is only 17 1/2” which feels low to me. I already have your Comfort Pro Chair which has a 20.7” seat height, and is great, even though I am only 5’1” tall. If I had bought the chairs in person, instead of ordering online, I may not have bothered because of the height. Additionally, the rockers did not come with carrying cases like the Pro Chairs did.

Recently purchased a pair of these rockers to replace our old style lawn chairs. The comfortability of these chairs is unmatched by any other lawn chair. The mesh back keeps you cool. Having a drink holder as well as a phone holding pocket is nice. The attached carry strap is nice for carrying them around. They are a little stiff to open and close but it gets easier the more you use them.
After less than six months of ownership the fabric on both of our rockers totally ripped in half making the chairs, essentially useless without the comfort of the arms on them. I don’t know why they were made so cheaply. The chair part seems to be functioning fine, but the fabric on the arms rips so easily that I would never buy another one unless they made a major upgrade in the fabric.
