Upgrade from original?
il y a 8 mois
I own this chair, as well as the regular size rocker. I like the upgrades this chair offers over the ,úbase model,ù. It has a phone holder/small pocket on the inside of the left arm rest and it has a cup holder on the right armrest built into the chair which I like over the basic chair,¶ It does sit with a slight lean to the rear prior to sitting which allows for more of a reclined feeling. One thing to keep in mind with this chair is it sits a little lower than the normal chairs so if you're on the taller side it's not quite as convenient to get out of, but it's a very very minor inconvenience at that and it wouldn't deter me from buying another one!

Review Update - Great Chair, Poor Carry Strap, Needs A Bag
il y a un an
An update of my review from 6/27/22. The chair itself remains comfortable, functional and sturdy, and still highly recommended, however a noted weak point in the design, the integrated carry strap on one of the two chairs I own pulled off a rivet attaching the strap to the chair at one end making this “feature” useless after 5 days of use. The strap does not balance the chair well at all, and the webbing is too narrow to be comfortable for carry, so the solution is a wide mouth bag which would also protects the chair during storage and transport. While you’re at it GCI, turn the cell phone pocket into a storage pocket for the bag and you’d solve 2 problems.

Great chair
il y a 4 mois
I only gave it a 9/10 because the kickback rocker is my all time favorite. I really like the height of this chair and the shoulder strap that is built in for carrying. My wife and I absolutely love GCI chairs and it's what we primarily use now. You can't go wrong with these chairs!
If you are looking to use this chair for sporting events, I think this would be best suited for that. If you are looking for something for sitting around a campfire, I would recommend the kickback rocker. The comfort pro is a bit taller than the kickback, and that is about the only difference.
You will love any chair from this company because the rocking action is a game changer!

The chair itself is OK
il y a 8 mois
The chair itself is OK but the warranty replacement is awful I bought a limited color in the chair and it didn't last long and broke one of the bars came undone. So I email to get a replacement and all they can offer is a solid color so I thought I was getting a purple color from the picture it looked like a purple color so that the one I ordered and then I get it and it is blue and gray I was so unhappy with it and they want do anything about it so I am stuck with it so my advice to anyone is just buy a plain colored chair because they want replace any other design!!! Even though the chairs have a warranty!!!

Sweet Chair
il y a 6 mois
I'm 6'1 225lbs and this chair is very comfortable. Smooth and silent rocking action. I like the beer pocket and the cell phone pocket to keep everything safe from falling. My favorite feature is just the construction... No pole uner your thighs to dig in while relaxing. This is a great replacement camp chair. you'll never go back to those cheap chairs. This chair is heavy and not designed for backpacking so don't complain about the weight and no it does not have a cover but who needs that annoying cover that you are looking for a place to store as soon as you open your chair. Buy this chair sit down and enjoy it!

Comfortable, Functional, with Few Reservations
il y a 2 ans
At 6’2” 220lbs the Comfort Pro Rocker is very comfortable and sturdy, unlike most camp chairs. Used extensively at a 3-day music festival and was impressed. Rocking action was terrific, and simple to fold and unfold. Seems well built and comes with a lifetime warranty. They sell the idea that it’s bagless as an advantage, but bags protect the chairs from damage and provide the carrier a little protection from sharp edges and corners which this chair has plenty of . The chair is somewhat heavy, and the carry strap is neither well positioned nor wide enough to balance the weight for longer walks. A good bag could improve the shortcomings. Highly recommended with those caveats.

This chair is awesome! There
il y a 6 mois
This chair is awesome! There is one minor thing that I think could be improved on. If you are a person the sits all the bay back in your chair (meaning your butt is right where the seat meets the back of the chair) then you will actually feel the cross brace in the back through the chair fabric. I typically do not sit like this and I think 99% of people do not sit like this so for most people this is a not a problem at all. I absolutely love this chair. I love that there is no case! I love the rocking motion! I love that you can site on the edge of your seat when you want to (like when a soccer game is close). I love that the seat is flat and not cupped. This chair hits everything just right!
