[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this lamp a few week ago and I have to say , I love everything about it. I was a bit skeptical about how much light would actually come from this light looking at the size. The size is perfect though , its light weight and easy to carry. You can keep it in you car, carry in your purse etc. So when I put the batteries in and turned it on, the illumination blew my mind!! It lit up the entire room. It’s perfect for power outages. Great investment.

Very Bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this lantern out the day I got it and was very impressed. I love the design and it is very easy to use. Even the way you take the battery cover off is amazing. It does take 3 AA batteries and 3 D batteries luckily I already had the AA but it probably best to get high voltage batteries so the brightness of the lantern lasts longer. Definitely would be great for camping, power outages, or just an energy saver. Also can be durable for any weather.

Great Lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Energizer lantern is great to use for camping. It is a nice size-not too big or too small. This lantern provides three levels of lighting. The first two are a led type of lighting with the last level giving off a soothing glow. If you carry it while walking somewhere at night, it would be good to have a shield of some kind, so the light wouldn't shine into ones eyes. This would be good to have for camping or for losing the electricity at home.

Great battery options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you get alway's stuck looking for a particular size for your light this is it. This light gives you the options for two different sizes. It can take either D's or double AA's or both. I didn't have any D size batteries but plenty of double AA's. Finally some engineer was fed up with looking for batteries for their light and came up with this design option. Has three brightness, bright, not so bright and night light. A very practical light.

Great lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lantern is small but very bright which is great that it doesn't take up a lot of space. You have 2 options for batteries either 3 AA or 3 D's and to install or change the batteries is as simple as untwisting the bottom off. I like how there is three different light settings. Living in Georgia this is great to have for power outages and even when we go camping. There is no blocking any of the light so it truly does have that 360 degrees.

Very Bright

It’s very easy to use , just pop in the batteries and push the button and your whole room or backyard has enough light to see. It gives you two options on what batteries you want to use and the install is easy. I recommend this for anyone that needs an emergency light or just a way to light up the backyard a little bit. There is only one button on the front so it is very easy to use.

Lightweight and long run time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty decent lantern. I like how it gives you two battery options that you can choose from based on what is available to you. The light wasn’t as bright as I thought it would be, but that may be due to my use of the lower power double AA batteries. I like that it is lightweight and has a pretty long runtime. The glow in the dark button is helpful when I’m using the lantern in a dark environment. It’s not bad for a simple lantern.

Great Lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lantern is very well made and sturdy. We took it on our last camping trip and used it to go on a hike from the boat to the camper at night. The light was very bright and covered a large swath to get us home. My 4 year old grandson brought it outside to get to the campfire and he did drop it a few times. Did not break and kept working. After 3 days of usage, it is still going strong without changing batteries. Great product.

Really works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this lantern. Light is adjustable from low, medium, high. Lightweight and easy to carry. It takes 3 D OR 3 AA batteries. The only problem was with the directions for batteries. The word “OR” should be made larger because at first I thought you had to put in 6 batteries total and that didn’t work of course But I reread the instructions again and noticed “or” the second time. But I’m very happy with the lantern!

So bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about this Energizer 360 Degree Camping Lantern not only is it bright and sturdy it amazes me you have the choice of 2 different type of batteries. You may run out of AA batteries thats ok because maybe you have a couple of other batteries and voila you have light. This even has the option of very bright, bright, and like a dim light similar to the orange glow of a lantern!! I'm truly impressed with this lantern!!

Perfect for emergencies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good sized lantern that has a variety of levels of brightness. You can also choose which types of batteries to use to increase or decrease brightness. We used D batteries and wow, the brightest setting was bright! It could easily light up a whole room or be perfect outside. The other settings are more typical of a lantern. The base is square and it stands upright without having to worry about it tipping. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lantern is cool because it is a good size - not huge, so nice for packing; the light works well, very bright. I like the feature of the handle on the top so that I can easily move it or hang it somewhere. The light has 3 modes on it, which are nice depending on the intensity of the light you want. I love that it is waterproof - obviously ideal for camping. It does take 3 AA and 3 D batteries to work. It feels very durable.

Great emergency light!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this lantern as an emergency light sourced for when storms knock out power during the night/power outages in general. I haven’t used it for camping yet.
I was a little skeptical that it could run on both double A batteries or C batteries. Thinking that the double As wouldn’t be able to provide much power or light. I WAS WRONG!!
This lantern does an AMAZING job with the amount of light that it puts out! I was able to flip it on in our master room with all our lights off around 10pm, and it lit up the room as if a regular lamp was on, or even better.
I love that it has multiple levels and colors of light. It has a high white light level, a low white light level, and a yellow light level (think night light).
If anyone wants or needs a great lantern for emergency purposes, I would say you should truly consider this! You won’t be disappointed!

Bright, Practical camping light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used this light a few times in this current environment, but so far so good! The light is super bright, which is a big plus, but I can't speak to how long it will last as I haven't needed to have it on for a long length of time. I'm hopeful that the D batteries mean that it will last for quite some time. It's portable, can hang on a bag, and seems like a great additional for when getting back outside is acceptable.

Don't buy this Lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was extremely hard to get the batteries in. Once they were in, we tried the lantern and it wouldn't work. Then it was extremely hard to get the batteries out. This takes 3 D and 3 AA batteries. If you put the D batteries in first, then the holes were not completely rounded for the AA batteries and vice versa. We ruined all of our batteries taking them out of this lantern. So lots of money down the drain...

WE ARE GOING TO BUY A FEW MORE. LIVING IN A TORNADO STATE WHERE POWER CAN BE OR FOR HOURS, DAYS AND EVEN WEEKS THESE WILL COME IN HANDY.

Bright light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lantern about a week ago to have as a backup if the electricity went out. It is super bright and is a great light source. If I could give it one downside though, the directions on the batteries are a little off. It shows slots for both 3D batteries and also 3AA batteries. The packaging isnt very clear as to the fact that you can use either or, not both together. Besides that it works great.

Super Nice Lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lantern is very nice. It is lightweight, has a nice handle that will accomodate a small to large hand. The three modes of lighting are very good. There is a warm glow looking mode, a regular light on mode and a super bright mode that lit up my entire 16' x 20' living room. I highly recommend this to anyone for all purpose extra light around the house or for camping..it will suit so many needs!!

Lots of bright light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little lantern puts off a lot of LED light for its size. I love that it will operate on the option of two different battery sizes, so if you don’t have one size you can alternate the batteries with a different size. The lantern is user friendly, compact, light weight, and pleasant looking. Energizer brand has a wonderful reputation so I was very happy to be able to sample this emergency lantern.

My fiancé works on utility lines and was impressed with the lighting capability, the life of the batteries, and the compact design. Perfect purchase for camping, assisting with dimly lit work situations, or as a precaution for hurricanes/wind storms. I feel better knowing we have a battery operated source of light in our home, that’s more convenient than a traditional flashlight.

Nice, light and bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm pleasantly surprised by this Energizer LED Emergency Lantern. The bright setting is VERY bright and the dimmer setting is nice to use when you just need a little light, e.g., when getting ready for bed while camping. The battery life claims to be very long, though I haven't had it long enough to corroborate its claims yet.
It seems to be very durable, because I accidentally dropped it from about 7 feet and it did not break.
My only mild complaint is that there is only one button, located on the front, which controls all the settings. It is not as easy to reach as a top button would be, and because it controls both the SUPER BRIGHT, the dim, and the flashing options, that means you have to click multiple times to get past the bright light (which may ruin your night vision) to get to the dim setting. I would have preferred a slider or a different way to select the settings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally wanted this for my fiancé. He’s a hard core fish man and he sometimes fishes at night, so I thought this would be perfect for him. I actually love it for myself. It’s really nice having it around the house, in case the power goes out. It’s very bright and illuminating. It’s seems to be very durable and very well made. I would definitely recommend having one of these around the house!

Excellent lantern can't be a beat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The energizer led emergency lantern is an excellent all round light. It is great if you are a camper like our family. It is has 3 light settings which really light up. It is waterproof. 500 hours of battery life and is not to bulky. It is also great for using in the garage or during home improvement projects. It cleans off easily. This is definitely something to have on hand for power outages.

3 Level Not Half Bad Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its not bad but there is nothing special. It is light weight. It does require batteries AA or D which is super odd to me that it can and does take either. There are 3 settings which is newer, one being a night light. For camping it probably will be fairly cool. I use it in my trailer. Its not half bad. I only gave it 3 stars because I am not a fan of needing actual batteries and the cost.

Could be great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received it and put brand new batteries in and it won’t work. I double checked that they were in correctly. I loved the idea of this lantern. The other issue with this lantern is that it is impossible to get the batteries out. You have to apply so much pressure to get them in and then they are stuck. I had to use pliers to get the batteries out destroying one in the process.

All around light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Energizer 360 Degree Camping Lantern came in handy during a recent power outage! I love that it allows light to come from every side of it...it's bright too - it lit up the whole (large) room allowing us to do what we needed. It's lightweight too, so moving it from room to room was no big deal. It worked so well for that, that we're excited to use it for camping.

Get it for emergencies

I love this lantern. I keep it for if our electric goes out! It has two different ways to power it with batteries. Either AA or the larger batteries, so whichever you have. It also will charge a device which is nice, I’ve not used that feature but if I ever need it I’m glad I have it. I love the lantern settings, so it doesn’t have just one brightness, there are 3.

Bright light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Energizer LED Emergency Later from Home Testers Club. It was very bright. I could see very well. I was able to go into my shed and it lit it up as if it was daylight. I was able to see everything easily. It lit up most of my back yard so that I didn't stumble or fall. I also used it to walk to a friend's house, and was able to see and be seen.

Light The Way

This performed better than I expected with just the right brightness. Easy to use and handle and perfect for those times lights go out during a hurricane or storm. Highly recommend this lantern and plan to get a couple more
