[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You honestly won't be able to find a better light for this price point! I am usually very stingy with my 5 star reviews but the Energizer LED Emergency Lantern definitely deserves it. Not only is it a good size and lightweight, it's EXTREMELY bright on the highest setting and the best part is that you can use two different types of batteries with it! We tried it with both D batteries and AA batteries and I was very impressed by the brightness level with both kinds of batteries. I definitely recommend the Energizer LED Emergency Lantern for emergencies or if you need a good light in your workspace!

Small but powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to test out the lantern in complete darkness since I live out in the country. I used the lantern on the highest setting and it lit up my immediate area which was great. Then I used the lower setting once I started getting closer to light. The on button was kind of annoying because I had to press quite hard but it worked just fine. On a different occasion, I used the red light when I got up in the middle of the night. It worked great to add a small amount of light without being too bright and completely waking me up. Overall, this lantern works great and I would definitely recommend it.

Good table top emergency lamp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The light is big and for an emergency lamp is a little large to store well. The light out put is great. This is a great table lamp IE: if there is a power outage, or if camping. The light does not easy hang even thought there is a good handle to carry it. The direction to install batteries were not perfectly clear. I inserted both D and AA batteries, and the fit was too tight. I had to use needle nose pliers to get the batteries out. I then realized that there is a choice of using AA or D batteries. Once I installed the D batteries the lamp work perfectly. Good lamp for table top use.

The best light to buy for camping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is the right shape to pack in with my camping stuff. Its lightweight and very easy to use. I can even use it if the power goes out and if you use the Energizer batteries instead of the cheaper unreliable it can for for several days maybe longer. The color is great too. The handle makes it easy to carry if you go on a nighttime walk while camping. Everyone should have one of these just in case of a power outage even if you dont do outside things like camping and hiking. The price is great just under 20 dollars and it ships from Amazon prime free and within 2 days. So if you are looking for a great gift for yourself or someone else you really should buy this in case of an emergency situation.

Easy to use

An unusual and very useful feature for the lantern is that it can operate on either 3x D cell batteries or 3x AA cell batteries. Only one battery type can be used at a time.
While the D batteries will certainly give a longer run time, the lighter weight and more common AA batteries are very convenient, and the lantern’s overall weight is much lighter with the AAs installed.
This is an excellent lantern for the money. Its modes are very useful for any lantern-type tasks you could expect to use, whether on a job site, in an emergency, or out camping. The versatility of different battery types is awesome, and the size is just right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very pleased with The Energizer LED Emergency Lantern.It has a handle on top of it.Plenty of light to see with.Ilove the easy om/off twist base .It doesneed batteries 3 of them .it is a little confusing of the type of batteries it takes.You have a choice of two different sizes that is nice.Dont mixed the battery size it wont work.Big thump room to push the Lantern on,thats a very nice feature,Easy to use and carry and a great trusted brand I have used before.This is the first time I used this lantern from this brand.I did receive a free sample of this product from hometesterclub.

It's perfect it can run on 3 AA or 3 D batteries either way it's super bright no matter which batteries you choose. It has 3 different light settings. The first one will blind you looking at it couldn't believe how bright. The next setting is a low beam of light and the 3rd one would be perfect for a night light. I'd definitely recommend, would be great for camping, a back up light in your house if the lights go out, and would be perfect in the car if you broke down. And wouldn't take up much room at all.

Awesome light! A must for every home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Energizer LED emergency lantern is such a great addition to our home. living in Florida we have storms frequently and on the day it arrived we actually lost power and it did it’s job!! There are 3 settings , the first setting lit up the room to where we were able to read, see and play games just as if we never lost power and the moonlight setting is great if you just need a night light.
I love that this lights versatility that it can use either AA or D batteries. IT makes it easier to use since D batteries are harder to find. I tried both sizes and there was no difference the output. I have already purchased another one to have on hand for hurricanes and family camping and have recommended it to my daughters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great for emergencies and fun activities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I was not expecting it to be so bright! It’s amazing! I love the glow in the dark button, and all 3 modes. This is perfect for all of it’s intended uses (camping, hiking, hunting, etc). But this is also perfect if the power goes out. I think everyone should have this for emergencies. I also love that you can use AA batteries. Most people don’t have the bigger ones so it’s nice to have that option. I can’t say enough good things about this product and I am so happy to have it. It makes me feel good knowing that I have it in my home.

Awesome little lantern!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this lantern is amazing and would be perfect in emergency situations. It can run off 3 AA or 3C batteries so its pretty flexible. The first setting is super bright and throws off a lot of light. The second setting is the one i use most. It casts a dim white light thats perfect for reading/smoking outside on my balcony. The third setting is similar in intensity to the second but is orange instead of white so it may be better at not blinding you as bad when you turn it off. All in all id reccomend this product to anyone for their emergency kit.

Very very bright!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the packaging was easy to open. As far as the product, it was user-friendly. The strap was easy to adjust and attach to the headlight. Second, it was easy to move the battery cover off and added the three batteries that were included in the package. The lid is part of the device so you can’t lose it. That’s all I had to do and there are three physical light positions. I have used others before, but this one was bright and so easy to use, and I didn’t see a glare so I actually saw what was in front of me. The batteries will be so easy to replace. Finally, I like the Energizer brand and trust it so I was hoping that it collaborated with a good product. It did not disappoint and I would recommend this product to friends and family.

Let There Be Light!!

Being born and raised in Alaska I’ve done my share of camping, and have tried a ton of gear. When I first tried the new Energizer LED Emergency Lantern I was in awwww at how bright the light was, and that the 360 claim it made was dead on!! Having to only buy one Energizer LED Emergency Lantern to light the whole area is priceless by itself, and add in the fact that it last a very long time without charge is amazing to me. It runs on both D Batteries and AAA batteries which is a plus. Since I live in Florida and we are constantly getting bombarded with storms and hurricanes this lamp is very helpful and will light up the whole room, it is waterproof and the on and off button makes it easy to turn on when there’s an emergency. This lantern could also be used to go camping and fishing and make the adventure worthwhile so I know you can use this lantern all year round.

It has a handle for easy carrying, the on/off button switch glows in the dark and you can easily find it when needed.
It runs on 3 AA batteries or 3 D batteries. It has 3 levels of brightness - very bright, bright, dim.
This lantern can be used for camping, power outages, or for emergencies such as a night light to check for monsters in your kids rooms at night.
I highly recommend this lantern.

Most lanterns I found cannot be turned off, making them useless for emergencies where it sits on the shelf for years. The lantern uses 4 D cells, giving it high energy density to last throughout a storm. The batteries are easily replaceable. The lantern is very lightweight. I will come in handy when experience power outages. I would recommend this lantern for anything you need a lantern or a six volt light for.

The design is simple with a handle that easy to grab. The push button is big as well to locate easily and push On In the middle of the dark. The lantern is made from a tough durable plastic. I’d say this is a good lantern for camping but not backpacking at this is very bulky and heavy. It is not compact and the extra weight and space will take away from other essential that you can fit. This is a great lantern for family outings at a campsite where weight and supply management is not as critical. The setting are bright enough to light up an area like a tent or fire area. Overall I recommend this lantern as an emergency light around the house and a great camping light for a family.

The Energizer 360 Degree Camping Lantern’s stable base is great, because it helps to keep from tipping. There is also a bit of non-slip grip on the bottom, making stability even greater. The push button allows you to cycle through all three settings, from the brightest of bright, to medium, down to the calm nightlight-like option. I appreciate the easy-to-carry handle that can be moved slightly out of the way, as well. This is a good quality product! I would certainly recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Louisiana and it just so happened after I received this Energizer LED Emergency Lantern we had some bad weather and the electricity was out for a bit. This lantern worked perfectly and we were comfortable leaving it in the room where my 96yr old Grandma spends most of her days and didn't have to worry about her messing with it, cause we put it on the dresser and it lite the whole room. I like that you can adjust the brightness, it's light weight, and small so it's easy to store.

Love my new campaign lantern!

Loving my Energizer Camping Lantern!

I love how convenient and easy it is to setup for both indoor and outdoor usage. It is pitch black where I live at night and lighting out here is essential as blackouts are common here so we have emergency lanterns in every room. This lantern is so unbelievably bright it lights up two rooms and it's great for walking the dog. It's the brightest lantern I have. I personally like the squared, sleeker design it doesn't take up a lot of space during use or for storage. Great product!

I haven't test it being under bad weather but I have no doubt it would up very nice. The only thing I don't like about it is that it using a lot of batteries, those are very expensive to buy, but with it being operated by batteries that's always a good thing because anything at anytime could happen & you wouldn't have electric. I've told several people already and plan to tell more.Thank you.

Being able to use either D batteries or AA batteries makes it easier in an emergency situation. The other feature I love is the ability to to change the brightness. The product allows the user to choose from bright, a little bit of a softer light, and a yellowish tinted mode that looks like a night light. This light is perfect for almost every situation.

It’s so neat and has a super bright white led or you can even use it for a flashlight. And last 16 hours on lantern mode 9 hours on flashlight now that’s a long time. It’s really light to carry and has a very convenient hanging hook. It’s overall the best flashlight/lantern I’ve ever seen. Oh ya and it even has a flashing red strobes Incase of an emergency. I just absolutely love it.

Great little lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I enjoy our camping adventures every summer, and I am constantly looking for new and innovative camping gear to add to or replace our existing collection. This 360 Degree Camping Lantern by Energizer is well-built, sturdy, and function wells in our test runs. While we have not yet had the chance to take it on prolonged camping trips, we’ve used during power outages and for kids “camping“ in the backyard. The light is bright and steady. I had expected it to be bigger in size, but it does function well and perhaps better to be in that smaller size. I like that it is lightweight and not easily breakable like glass globes that I’ve had on old lanterns is the past. Overall, I feel that this is a good product to have not just on camping trips, but also emergency use and around the house when you need quick, portable light.
