[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was finally able to test out my Dewalt 20v Max pole trimmer and I love it. Not only does it pair perfectly with my Dewalt weed eater and blower, this unit is super simple to use. Insert the battery, disengage the safety, and start trimming. The harness that comes with it is a great new feature that ensures safe operation while trimming those hard reach areas. The multi-adjusting head is a great feature but I wish there was zero wiggle room once it was locked into place. Super sharp blade cuts like a dream. Overall, this is the perfect battery powered trimmer to tackle your trimming needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hedges cower in fear as I can trim them from any distance. This hedge trimmer reaches all heights and depths for all of my needs and most likely everyone’s. Cordless portability, flex head and long extension makes this most versatile hedge trimmer I’ve ever used. It’s a little top heavy so strap must be used for safety. I docked 1 star, because this could have been the most unbeatable hedge trimmer if they made it 3 pieces instead of 2. If the extension portion was removable and thus capable of converting into a regular hedge trimmer would have made this a perfect device.

Works great for early season ornamental grass trimming and for keeping your distance for trimming barberry bushes. It's adjustability is great for almost any angle and it is nice to not have to bend over to trim the grasses to the ground. Has plenty of power for cutting larger branches only jammed up once the whole day of trimming bushes. not as heavy as I had expected and the shoulder harness helps, though I wish it had an adjustable handle like a weed trimmer for better ergonomics and ease of use than just holding onto the straight pole.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Safety first, the most dangerous thing about battery powered tools is their bite is much worse than their bark. Just because it is not loud doesn't mean it can not remove fingers. Please be careful. Does it cut? yes big stuff, and little stuff this tool will cut it. I jammed the blade cutting a larger limb, I removed the battery, pryed the blade to move it and was back in business. I set the unit on a vise and put a charged 4Ah batttery (1 year old) and clamped down the trigger. It ran for an hour, straight, then I took the tool out and cut shrubs with it. There was no battery heat. The motor however was too hot to touch-not really a suprise given the run time. The tool fits in hand well given the fact that it designed to do a job at arms length.

First thing I noticed was the blade speed (RPM?) seemed slower than with corded trimmers. 2nd thing: blades are very sharp and very hard. 3rd thing: single-point attachment of the shoulder strap would be improved with a 2-point attachment so the long reach of the tool could be more easily controlled. 4th thing: Cuts extremely well. Didn't jam even on my 1-inch think bougainvillea bushes. 5th thing: the long reach makes it much easier observe what you're doing and cut perfectly straight hedges than with a short trimmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this about 3 weeks ago and its been great. Got a head start on a bunch of bushes before they fill in and havnt had any issues. Its way more light weight compared to the attachments for a string trimmer. Very easy to use and you can change from straight to a 90° angle easily. The blades are sharp and didnt get hung up at all even on thicker branches. The best part is no starting issues or using gas... just pull the trigger and go...also has a safety switch to keep kids from mistakenly running the saw.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The length of this trimmer is great, allowing you to get deep in between hedges, behind, or top of hedges with ease. Also the weight is balanced enough that trimming in the easy to reach areas is also an ease. Blade is sharp and long to which helps me maintain a nice straight line. The swivel head is great and locks in secure, especially at the 90degree positions. Straight out it has a little play but nothing that effects my work. No more getting scratched up reaching for tough areas!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about 2 weeks ago to use on some tall hedges around the house. I also used it on some green briers in our pasture. The articulating pole makes it very easy to cut the top of the hedges and the bottom of the briers. Used it to cut 1/2” branches which it did easily, hoping DeWalt will make a pole saw attachment for the power pole. Very easy to assemble and use, no snagging and it self cleaned all the leaves out!
