Taille-bordures sans fil, 20V MAX XR, 14"

I bought this trimmer last season because I was tired of dealing with gas trimmers and I have a while collection of DeWalt 20v tools and always have a charged battery on hand. When I first got it it worked pretty well for a small trimmer. I have very little property and I use it for probably less than 10 minutes each time I use it which os typically every other week for a season of about 4 months. I bought it last year mid season and it lasted until mid season this year. I was cutting and the head suddenly stopped turning. I checked the battery which was good, also tried a few other fully charged batteries just in case, however it was to no avail

Well it's a shame the big yellow has finally crossed its name off on my tool list. I have had this string trimmer model : DCST922 for just about a year. Personal tool to cut edge the grass of my tiny yard. Within the warranty it has burned up a motor and after 20 minutes of headache on the phone with 6 different people the motor has been superceded and is on back order with no definite time of getting one. Will be replacing with a stihl or echo as parts availability is much more supple. Guess we see how long before the blower goes too. Thanks dewalt for the interesting wall decoration I won't be able to get my money back on.

Read the reviews and should have listened. First off this thing runs great and did a good job. I don't trim much only about 15 minutes run time and the power and battery life are good. But the ergonomics are horrible. The way a 6 foot tall person has to hold this leaves muscles very tired and sore for two days. I have several other tools that these batteries interchange with but this is the first Dewalt Tool I hate. A neck strap or balance it better something needs to be done folks. Bought this to replace my old gas trimmer but looks like its going in the shop. Had it two weeks ran it once and no more. RUN from this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this trimmer to trim weeds in the alley behind my home. It’s too far to string multiple extension cords and it’s too small an area to invest in a gas trimmer. Knowing how well my Dewalt drills and saws have worked I gave the cordless trimmer a try. It does exactly what I need it to do. Lots of power to trim stubborn desert weeds. More than enough juice on a five amp hour battery. And it folds in half to store in a smaller space in the garage which is awesome. The grip and balance with the 5ah Battery is a little heavy toward the trimmer head, and for that ergonomic reason I gave it a 4/5 stars. If I had a large area to trim that would be a concern for me.

So far I' m happy with my purchase..Has good power and also the run time isn't to bad considering its cutting through allot of stuff so if you have a well maintained yard and only have to keep it on low then you should be able to finish most all yard work before the battery goes dead..My only complaint is wish they would have made the guard wider and just all around a bit more wider so stuff doesn' t fly up as often as it does... mean don't get me wrong its not the worst ever but being that its Dewalt they know darn good and well they could have made the guard better all around though its a great weed eater for sure

live in the mountains of Colorado. Not as high up there as some live admittedly. In the summer you like to keep growth around your place as low as you can because of insects. We don't have lawns at 8700 feet. But I also don't have much area you can use a lawnmower on. This string trimmer really excels at what it does. The 5 Ah battery recharges quickly. We get afternoon showers ever day this time of year and get a lot of growth. I have a gas string trimmer but can't imagine every using it again. One thing I would see changed. If the lock-off button were on both sides of the handle then a user could shift sides so their left arm didn't get so fatigued. A shoulder strap would be gre

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We maintain 25 plus acres and only bought this to throw in back of the Polaris Ranger for quick use on small jobs, mainly for my wife, so she wouldn’t have to worry about cranking a gas trimmer. We had no idea how great this thing would be! It is absolutely freaking fantastic! Love it! Do not hesitate to purchase this product! This trimmer is NOT some toy, it’s the real deal that can tackle any size job, big or small! You will not be disappointed! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item to use for edging around 300ft of fence in our yard and around some trees. It works great as a grab and go unit for this. I have a large, heavy, hard to start trimmer for the thick stuff in the wood line where I use a blade instead of string. Although I would not recommend this for really heavy growth, I did use it to clear a bank I normally use a push mower for after the mower died. It powered through it but was not the weed eating demon the larger gas units are. If you have a small area you need to clear this will be fine. Will not be using it on my 400ft of wood line that has heave growth. I love the folding aspect. It allows for easier storage over the winter.
