Souffleur portatif, 20V MAX XR, sans fil - sans balai

I purchased this earlier this year and the blower works fine but no matter which battery I use it only lasts around 20 minutes. I complained to DeWalt and they suggested buying a bigger battery. I just purchased a FlexVolt 9 ah and still only get around 20 minutes of battery life. It is a good thing I have several batteries to finish the job. I have many DeWalt tools and am pleased with all of them. Because of this I didn't read reviews before buying the blower but now I wished I had.

Bought this blower with 20V battery and it will only blow for a few seconds at a time. The first day is worked for 10 minutes on the original, out of the box, charge. The second day, a few seconds. The 3rd time it worked for 15 mintuets. Now it only runs for a second or two. When you let off the trigger and pull again you get another 2-3 seconds, etc. It has charged overnight and then again for 2 days. Still no battery. Waste of money.

The run time on this is so low its not really cost effective. 10 to 15 minutes tops of always on use. You could use this to blow the grass off your driveway, but if you didn't have another battery, you wouldn't have enough juice to use the string line trimmer. Having this will require you to have a couple of extra batteries. Skip this one and just get a gas powered blower. Not Dewalts fault, blowers are just too power hungry.

I own a lot of Dewalt tools and so far I have been happy and not having to buy all these other brand batteries. To my knowledge this is the first problem tool with the 20volt platform, brushless motors. Battery will not last no time and even worse is Dewalt will do nothing about it. I hope this is not a sign of things to come with Dewalt. I've been a loyal fan for years but this blower is flat out junk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this blower to have exceptional ballance. So easy to handle and hold for extended periods. I have the original 20v max blower. This one is slightly smaller, has a better intake defuser, (does not seem to suck my clothing in as much). I also like the new trigger and throttle lock because I can lock it with one hand and the flat throttle trigger cuts down on hand fatigue because it is so flat.

I used a new, fully charged 4 ah battery and only got 11-12 minutes of run time at mostly full speed. I knew the Run time wouldn't be great, but i thought it would be better. However, the part that really bothered me was the very high pitch whine the blower made. I read it was supposed to be fairly quiet, but this is not. Is this normal?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reviewed all of the blower options and chose this one due to amount of air it moves and compatibility with my other DeWalt outdoor equipment batteries. It really makes the cleanup go fast. The variable speed trigger provides the range from super fast to slow. The slow really helps where you don't want to blow all the mulch from your flower beds ! For me buying the 'tool only" saved me money !

It blows a lot of air, and quite well! The only downside is battery life, about 10 minutes on a 5A battery. But then again, you have to make a choice between power and battery life, you can have one or the other, but not both. Myself, I’m glad they went with power because a low power blower is next to useless. When the battery gets low, swap it out, take a sip of coffee, and back to work!

received this from my husband for Valentines Day--love a practical man! great for blowing out flower beds, leaves off gravel drive, and cleaning garage! Battery life is a bit short, but he has mostly DEWALT tools, so plenty of backup batteries. The toggle switch is great, and is light enough to use one hand, as our gas one is a heavy beast! one of the best Valentines Day gifts ever:}

Hi Used this blower as a lightweight unit to clean up dirt and various yard debris that got on patio, driveway and deck...etc. It was awesome tool to do the light work w/o having to crank up a gas-powered blower. Had it for about a year and everyone loved it. Well, it's great when it works. I have had many Dewalt tools, saws over the years and always got great performance and durability out of them. Well, this blower is not one of them. It no longer works. Very disappointed. It looks like a brand-new tool, but just quit. Will not respond when I pull the trigger. Replaced batteries with fully charged ones that work perfectly on the other 20-volt tools I have. It's not rocket science, it just died, and I am not sure if it's still under warranty or not. It's a good tool, but from what I have been reading, it looks like many people are having the same issue where the blower just dies and doesn't last.

I use this tool to clear debris from sidewalks, and to clear debris from equipment and tools. It is not like a gas powered tool, in that I can pick it up put and battery in it and go, quick and simple, I can use it indoors if need be without dealing with fumes. It is not as powerful as a gas unit but what it lacks it makes up for in portability, and the power is not bad also!

I really like the trigger mechanism. Being able to use the trigger or slide the little thing so it stays on is really nice. There is plenty of power!! The battery life isn’t bad considering how much power it has. I’m really glad I bought this!!

This 20V blower moved these leaves around with no problem. They are last years leaves so they were a little damp and still were blown with no problem. My dad and I both used it as we use the same blower for our yards and he was just as impressed as I was.

I own several DeWALT tools and they’ve been top notch so I bought this cordless blower expecting the same. Unfortunately, I have encountered the same poor battery life as others. I consistently get only 5-6 minutes per full charge which renders the blower useless for anything other than quick driveway clean-ups. Very un-DeWALT like performance.

The tip on this blower gives it the advantage over the older model. I run a construction crew and we have used this to blow out houses after drywall, clean up around the job site, to blow off roof and to blow out the work truck. It gets the job done.

My husband ought this light weight blower for me and the time I get on the 20 V battery is ridiculous....I'd rather drag around a cord!!! The 20 V works about 8-10 minutes fully charged and my husbands other smaller batteries last 4 minutes. Total pain in the reart!!!! Can't get even my tiny back yard done with 5-6 chargings.

I bought this for small jobs around my house If the battery lasted 15 minutes i would be done. The battery bares last one minute fully charged Came here to look for a new compatible battery but after reading these reviews i wonder if that will even help? When it does blow for that minutes it is just what i need

Bought this for my roof. I have plenty of batteries and cordless tools... but the batteries don't give you any real about if run time. About 10 min per 4.0Ah battery. Might be good for a deck or porch. Kind of wish there was a battery- cord attachment that came with it... but dewalt isn't about that kind of life.

Great blower and is fairly lightweight, use it to blow off my truck after washes along with leaves around the house it has plenty of power to blow wet clumped of debris! Do note though to make sure to have a couple batteries on hand as it will run through a 6ah battery in 15-20 min depending on the throttle you give.

I have noticed that it uses battery life up much faster than many of the other Dewalt tools I have. But then again I don't run my drills or saws for a continuous 15 minutes. Still not disappointed in my purchase as it does what I need it to do.

With the addition of the cone and new design of the blower is works great snd has no problem moving decent size rocks, imbedded leaves in the rocks and landscaping. The only downfall is battery life, like others have noted you will get about 15-20minutes of run time on full blast with the 5.0ah battery.

Because it’s light and powerful I’ve been using around the house nonstop and I’ve been very impressed so far. I bought the smaller battery with it and have no issues, and I’m sure the bigger batteries would be even better.

The fact that this blower included an 5ah battery and charger made our purchase easy. We have run the blower on max to clean driveway,curb, and deck area, no disappointments.Battery life has not been an issue.

I bought the DCBL 722 B kit for my wife! She was always complaining about her gas blower not starting on her jobsites. She has a cleaning company, and likes to finish her jobs by blowing out garages,porches,entry areas,decks etc. So with me being a contractor and having DeWalt tools of all sorts on my job sites I thought why not check out DeWalt cordless blowers. I checked out videos did my research and with all the specs in my head I made my decision. So with the 722 under arm I brought it to the test site. WOW I recieved nothing but rav reviews from a totally unbiased user! Man I thought I had pulled off one heck of a home run! Then a couple of days later I realized that I hadn't thought the purchase all the way through. I discoved that my wife had found my charged batteries and left me with the dead ones! So the only con I would have for the 722 blower is that it doesn't come with two batteries! The 722 blower is a really handy tool that really does get the job done quickly and easily.

Purchased blower in Sept 2019 as I have many DeWalt 20 Volt tools. The blower (DCBL720) worked well, until MAY 2021. Now I have to remove the battery to shut it off. With the battery attached, it continues stay on and blow at a low volume. It would run the battery dead if not disconnected.

Bought this for my wife to use cleaning out her flower beds. We used it 3 times and it seemed to be sufficient for that but on the fourth use it was working, we let the trigger go between beds and the next pull of the trigger nothing happened. No weird noises, battery charged and it's dead.

This is a very useful tool. It makes clearing the yard so much quicker. I use it for the garage too to get rid of all the dust. I like how you don't have to hold the button down the whole time. Our neighbors like to help clean up eachother's yards, so this helps make things easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blower is a great substitute to a gas blower. I brought out my gas blower at the same to time to do the same job . I held the gas blower in my left hand and the dewalt blower in the left. was blowing the same material with both. Here are the pros and cons of the dewalt blower. Pros: excellent build a lot of power as much CFM as a gas blower variable speed trigger makes it nice to slow the speed like a gas blower its nice to have to keep it to one side like a gas blower because the intake is in the rear. if you have carple tunnel syndrome it has no vibration like a gas blower. Cons : it eats batteries i used a new fully charged 5.0 AH battery and it discharged it just doing my drive way and side walk. roughly 1,600 Sq. Ft. blowing light lawn debris. the cone on the end needs to narrow down and take the piece out of the center it causes a small amount of air to be clogged up. Over all this is a great product, and is very useful and i would recommend it to friends and family.

The blower goes thru a fully charge battery very fast. To be honest I'm disappointed it the performance of the 20V Max blower for the money I expected more from DeWalt.

Used two 20v lithium batteries that I use very successfully with other Dewalt tools and each, fully charged, lasted no more than 5 minutes. The blower power was nothing earth-shattering, adequate at best. Could not recommend this product in spite of my love for Dewalt tools.
