Does the Job...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have other Dewalt 20V products, so I bought this one with out the battery and it performs splendidly on any of the other Dewalt 20V batteries. Blade wrench is located where you don't worry about losing it. The blade lock works effectively. The saw slides over lumber effortlessly. This is a Grreat product and it was very affordable....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this circular saw a few years ago. Still works great. Depending on what your cutting it’ll run through your batteries pretty quick. It’s got lots of power and of course being battery operated, very convenient. Especially on jobs were I’m 1000 ft from any power source if there’s any power at all. Definitely a great tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this saw about 6 months ago on a whim and it's been getting a lot more use on the job site than I expected. More power than expected out of a cordless saw! I use it for pretty much everything that's not cut at a dedicated station. I really like it for ripping sheet goods, overhead work, anything on a roof, etc.
If you own the Dewalt 20v platform, consider purchasing this Circular Saw! I own it via purchase of a kit, but really felt the need to review this saw alone. I have owned, used many different tool brands, Porter Cable, Orange tools, Red tools, and many other corded ones.
I would put this saw to the test against any of them. The weight, balance, and raw power is second to none. Have I stalled the blade and shut the unit down, yes, but that was on a seriously cupped 2x12 cutting stringers for stairs. To which I feel was much safer than my corded Dewalt kicking back on me!
This saw has very clear visibility for the cut line, it cuts straight, and the weight and balance is awesome. I really feel like Dewalt did their due diligence on this saw for the 20v users.
Oh, by the way, with a fully charged 5 amp battery, I get all day use with 1 battery when building and framing a deck. That includes cutting the beams, posts, trimming deck boards, all of it.
Great job on this one Dewalt
This is my second one I have purchased and the same thing happened. Made it through about 5 2by4s and it's dead. The batteries are still fully charged. It won't spin. Same as my last one. It starts out great but at this point it's wasting so much of my time it's not worth it. I do not recommend

20V 7 1/4" Circ Saw is exactly what I need
il y a 3 ans
I use this saw daily and it performs evwrytime without fail. I love the brushless motor and the brake on it works flawlessly. Extremely quiet compared to my plug in dewalt commercial saw. Allows me to start nice and early on jobs and not bother the homeowners. Very pleased with this saw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've had this for almost a year now and its a great saw. It will drain batteries fast though. I ended up getting a 60V battery for it and highly recommend anyone else doing the same. but overall great saw, does what it needs to and doesn't bog down, even when ripping boards with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the Dewalt max 6 1/2 circular saw to this bad boy a couple of months ago. I have never been happier. I used this recently to cut 3/4 in osb, it went through each panel like butter. It is honestly an awesome saw. You can really tell Dewalt listens to there customers!
I bought this for when I just needed to make a few quick cuts or when I didn’t want to drag out a bunch extension cords. So far it has worked fantastic and has more power than I expected for a cordless saw. I have no doubt that it will work great for larger projects as well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought several 20v tools and I have been impressed by all except this one. It does well with thin material and is very convenient. If the wood is 1.5 inch thick or is not completely dry, this saw is frustrating in my experience. I hear the 60v version is better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought This a couple of years ago for Black Friday and absolutely love it. It makes all of my DIY home projects a breeze especially being a woman. I love The cordless saw because I can easily take it to one of the multiple workstations I have Around the yard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great saw, used other cordless saws this one by far is the best one. Well balanced, great power tips and crosscut like a corded saw. One thing I would like is a magnesium base plate the one on there has a slight arch to it. Nothing major just a side note.
I bought this as a replacement for another brand of cordless saw. This is a night and day difference. It has no issue cutting lumber or ripping plywood. The battery life is excellent as well. Worked sheeting a garage all day on one 5ah battery.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned this saw for about a year now and I absolutely love it. I leave a 6 ah battery on it and can cut for days. It has great power and feels good in your hand when you’re cutting. All of the controls are super easy to operate. Good tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw a few months ago, and have used it a lot. No having to deal with the cord is a game changer. Has enough power to handle any reasonable task for a circular saw that a typical corded side-winder would be able to take on.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw about a year ago when I was working on a buffet/hutch for my wife. It worked perfectly and being cordless was the icing on the cake. I own many corded DeWalt tools and cordless drills and will continue to buy DeWalt.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a die hard DeWalt fan. My tools started with the drill/driver combo and bought it along with the Porter Cable and rigid but my DeWalt products have surpassed and other tool I’ve bought or used.
I have everything from, recip saw, jigsaw, drills, impact drivers, oscillating tool but I will say the skill saw surprised me the most.
I was reluctant to buy it, afraid it wouldn’t hold up but man was I wrong, this tool does the job every time.
I would not change my collection for anything (well maybe an upgrade later).
I’m a FT medic and build cabinets on the side for my small woodworking business, these tools never fail me and serve every purpose I could imagine. Having all cordless tools just makes travel and the job site that much more convenient.
I have lots of folks asking me for advice all the times and every time I recommend DeWalt to all my customers and friends.
I hope to add the compressor and maybe a miter saw to my arsenal one day.
Buy DeWalt, you won’t go wrong. I give them 5 stars because a 100 stars wasn’t an option.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first cuts were crazy bad, until I change the direction of the blade that I installed wrong. The saw power is outstanding. Used to cut thick treated wood and other materials - plywood, laminated press wood (1.5" thick).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this item nearly a year and it has performed flawlessly. It’s lighter than most circular saws in its class and the cut is precise and smooth. All the features are easy to use and keeps me productive.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this saw in order to build a bridge across a small creek on my property. No access to power and didn't want to buy a generator. Worked great. Easy to carry in and rip boards with ease for the walkway.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this saw for about 6 months now and couldn’t be any happier with it. With a 3.0+AH battery it lasts a solid amount of time. Love the electric brake and the guide lines on the base are very true.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 20v max 7 1/4” cordless circular saw about 6 months ago and I will never by another saw the battery life and overall performance and unbeatable! I will only buy this saw from here on out!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this saw for about a year now and I love it! It took a little while to get used to because it is set up a little different than the 18v. Having the light and the extra blade side is a must!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw has plenty of power to rip and cross cut hardwood lumber. I use this saw to break down 2 to 2 1/4" boards. Not only does it have power but the run time on the 5ah batteries is solid.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough about this saw. It fits easily in my hand, tracks straight, is well balanced and powers through even deep cuts. Battery life is outstanding and this saw is a workhorse.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this saw a couple months ago and it has not disappointed. Cuts through material on the jobsite with ease. Has the power to move through wood and metal without any compromise.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw two months ago. I’ve cut plywood and other lumber with no problem.
I’m only using the 24 tooth blade that comes with it. I like how easy it is to sight the cut
I bought this saw for its convenience of cordless and low noise level. I already own a DCS575, the DCS570 is quieter because it starts and stops instantaneously and has a better frequency, the dB levels came close but I couldn't speak for my apparatus's accuracy, subjectively this saw feels much less intimidating when cutting.
I've been using 2AH batteries to power the saw, the speed is definitely slower compared to a 4AH battery but enough to cross cut about 30 2x6 lumber if you act quickly, won't work for rip cuts though. I'm hoping of getting a 5AH battery for it soon. Personally I believe when paired with a bigger capacity battery this saw is totally adequate for framing and wood working, sure it may cut a little slower when dealing with wet 6x6 but who cuts those everyday.
The notches on the saw are very accurate, a laser would be nice, this way it could be used for finish carpentry instead of just rough framing. Love the rafter hook, very handy for hooking it on a saw horse. In terms of price, I agree that it would be nice to include a rip fence with it, since it's a fairly essential accessory.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bit heavy with a 5 or 6 AH battery but that's to be expected from a full size saw. would love bit more power, stalls too quick if the blade pinches. love the electric brake
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this one for Christmas last year from my wife and I love it...It's very powerful and will rip plywood with ease...It also looks great next to my other Dewalt tools...
