life changing tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this tool and many other cordless dewalt tools for over a year and they do not disappoint! I use this saw almost every day and it has made my job so much easier. The power is great for most cuts and not having an extra cord around to trip on or get tangled up is always a bonus. I use a 6 amp battery with this and it works great and last too many cuts to count. The only draw back is if you are ripping a 2x length wise it will drain your battery faster if you are doing a few of them... As a pro I highly recommend this product, you will not regret it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this saw! I don't think I have used any of my corded saws since I have gotten this. To be able to crosscut a sheet good without having to worry where the cord is or drag it with me so it doesn't get caught has been such an awesome thing. Did a siding job with this and same thing, no cord to get caught when cutting the siding. Also, being a 7 1/4" blade and on the right side like a typical saw helps to not have to buy more blades and changing any cutting habits that one has developed when using a typical circular saw!
Had saw 1 month, shoe not square to blade out of box, adjusted shoe to square and there is no way to re-zero the bevel index so that the index reads zero when it is actually zero or is accurate at any indexed bevel including the bevel stops. The bevel stops are not accurate out of box and worse after adjusting shoe to square with blade. Changing blades has same result. Saw is useless except to make square cuts with shoe adjusted to +3 degrees on bevel index. DeWALT fail.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been holding off on battery tools for a long time especially when it came to cordless saws. But after given the chance to use one, it instantly changed my mind. Its light weight feature packed with high power performance made my everyday work a breeze. This is my 2nd saw with an electric brake and I would be lost with out it. I highly recommend this saw to any one that has to make cuts of lumber especially when there is a unlimited power supply... Thanks Dewalt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are considering buying the 6-1/2 saw compared to the 7-1/4, I would recommend you buy the slightly bigger saw. This saw goes beyond my expectations, the deck on the saw is sturdy to provide consistent accurate cuts. The best part about this saw is the joist hanger, it folds out of the way but allows the saw to be securely hung when not in use. Having a cordless saw is worth its weight in gold, when working on projects where running extension cords is a hassle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a few months ago adding to my collection. I had been impressed by every tool I had bought and swapped for DeWalt but could not have expected such a difference. All of the saws I had used before had the same issues of constantly grabbing and being stuck, taking too long to shut off and feeling not enough. Since buying this any job I've done I've cut what feels like time in half, it's smooth light and my favorite part stops on a dime. You need one, trust me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this along with a Impact Drill & Jig Saw. This Skill Saw is a beast for 20V.
Light weight and very comfortable with the hand. Blade and Battery installations a breeze.
Explanation on blade types within manual was nice touch. Appreciate that.
Bevel cuts and shoe adjustments were nice surprise, well done. All adjustment knobs and such were easily accessible and easy to understand. Overall, this Saw is well worth the price, you will not be disappointed.
I am a big fan of Dewalt tools and own many. I bought this because I hate managing cords. Unfortunately the blade tends to wander no matter what kind you use (I tried several). It also cuts like the blade is dull even when using a new blade. I then purchased the 60v version and experienced the same. Can't afford the Dewalt table saws so I have to go back to my corded HF saw. Disappointing because all of my other Dewalt cordless tools have performed superior.
We appreciate your feedback on the DCS570B and are sorry to hear about the issue you are having with your product. Please email us at wecare@sbdinc.com and reference ticket # 5585380. We look forward to hearing from you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw a month ago and so far have been quite pleased! The saw has plenty of power and I’m only running it on older 4.0 ah batteries! Love the LED, lights up the cut line quite well. I got one with a rafter hook on it which I like but I feel like it could have been a little beefier like other brands I’ve seen. The company I work for uses saws that have no blade brakes so it’s nice to finally have that feature! Overall a very solid saw!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had just bought a pair of 2 5 ah batteries, so I didn't need the battery with the set, I got the saw for the same price as a corded saw. The battery lasts pretty much all day depending on the job, and it's rather light, with a rafter hook or was exactly what I need... My only issues with it are, the battery indicators are on the opposite side, making it hard to check, and it can be hard to see the depth setting, but very very minor.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work as a carpenter and need to cut studs and plywood nearly every day. Normally you would hear people say that cordless saws are bad for cutting plywood. Not this bad boy. If you use this saw with the FlexVolt battery, you will be cutting cleaner and faster than any plug in saw I have ever used. And with the FlexVolt FastCharger, you can recharge in a fraction of the time as other brand chargers. I would highly recommend this saw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first battery powered circular saw, and it's a great one! Of course DeWalt is the best out there from my experience as a do-it-yourself homeowner for 20 years, and this saw has definitely proven itself. Light and quick to position, no cords to worry about, and precise cuts. No motor brushes to burn out, and easy battery swaps. Usually enough power for new wood, and easily cut my composite deck boards. Handy as it gets!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to splurge a bit and get the XR version of the cordless DeWalt circular saw mainly because of the 7¼” blade compatibility. After using this saw for the last six months on amateur woodworking projects, I know I made the right decision. Its performance is spectacular! I have built entire construction-grade shelving units and still had PLENTY of battery life to spare. Totally worth it to get the XR!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for the convenience of a cordless circular saw and was not disappointed. Have used it for a handful of construction jobs and it handles just like a corded model would. The brake on this model is excellent, stops the blade almost immediately. Good lifespan with a 4ah battery and with a second battery in rotation I've never had to wait to get back to a
job. Great tool, would highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was worried about the strength of the saw having an 18v from a different brand that under performed. I received this item as a package deal with the 20v impact drill. I have to say I was incredibly surprised by the power and durability of this saw! I have recommended it to anyone who asks about it as well as anyone I see with long extension cords stretched around using a ac powered saw.
I've had this saw for several months and have found it most capable for a cordless tool, especially when coupled with Dewalt's larger power packs. HOWEVER, I find engaging the safety switch to enable the trigger to be very difficult, especially with gloves. Why it was not designed with the switch on top of the handle is beyond me. Having to reach around the grip to depress the switch laterally is neither convenient nor particularly safe because now your making unnatural hand movements to engage the saw. Very poor design concept. I've tried (unsuccessfully) several times to make this comment on Dewalt's home page but have never been able to open the app. This is the first Dewalt tool that I have had a MAJOR complaint with and have decided to lived with the purchase...but ever time I use it, I find myself swearing at the design. For this reason, I would not recommend it to a friend.
bought the bare tool - have multiple batteries - but this runs well on one battery for moderate jobs, just what i wanted, elimination of cords
DUST is unbelievable (all circular saws), but dewalt makes a dust collector, for the DWE575 saw, i orddered it, i believe it wil be a perfect match for this saw ! Dewalt claims not, but i believe a handyman can modify this.
Accurate cutting, good power
I purchased this model because unlike so many other cordless saws the motor and blade are on the correct and proper side making this available to be used by right-handed people. This makes it extremely dangerous to cut with the other saws if you are right-handed attempting to cut left handed and also causes not only possible injury to yourself but also damage to the wood when cutting it.
I had to replace a stair that had rotted and had let somebody borrow my corded circular saw so I picked this up as I had previous DeWalt battery tools.
I know I was using a brand new DeWalt saw blade too, but I was still expecting at least a little "drag" as I was cutting pressure treated lumber. NO SUCH THING!!! This baby cut through every piece like it was pudding let alone butter!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago, and used it on a few small projects so far. Very handy being the cordless model. The only complaint I have is that the guide isn't exactly on with the blade, maybe a blade width off, but it's such a slight complaint that it's not worth taking a star off of the overall rating. So far so good, can't wait for the big project that will require this tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my circular saw for a few years now and it runs great, and stands up to the demands that I put it through as I do remodel projects around my home. The power is great for a cordless saw, and the ease of use is it's two best selling points for me. I have remodeled over half of my home and this saw has done everything I have asked for and is waiting for more. I love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this build several items during quarantine. First up was a corn hole board. Ironically, my UPS shipment was late so I used a hand held hack saw to slice into some 2x4...needless to say that day was horrible. When the circular saw came, i touched up the boards and this thing just quickly flies through 2x4. My hacksaw experience made me appreciate this that much more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased about a year ago as an impulse buy - turns out it has been one of the better cordless purchases I have made - as a general handyman with a small car, I need to be thoughtful on the tools I take to jobs - this saw is perfect for small to medium size jobs - the battery technology is long lasting and reliable. Compact and light weight - absolutely LOVE IT!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw several months ago for a woodworking project. It was light weight yet very hard working! It was easy to use and exceeded my expectations in a saw for the price I paid for it.I have cut numerous boards and even rip cut plywood and 2x6 boards and never had to slow down. I would recommend this product. Also the power of the batteries are awesome.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is a time saver. I don't need to run any cords to use it, just slap a battery on & go. It's fallen, frozen, been rained on, & still performed the same as when I got it. Its hook is also great. I can hang it off rafters (if the pitch isn't too steep) & ceiling joists easily to maneuver myself through the framing, then grab it & go when I need it again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is great. It's worth exactly what you pay for it. It is the perfect size using a 7-1/4" blade to cut through most projects around the house and light remodeling. It has a great safety brake, and it stops immediately upon realizing the trigger. Compared to my Irwin corded circular saw this thing is way more powerful, lighter, and fast. Love this thing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loathe this saw I own Dewalts 6 1/2 cordless circular saw and like it a lot so I thought purchasing this saw-one for home one for work(construction)- it would be a step up but its not and being I work in construction ive used all makes and models of saws and this one is the worst if you are going to buy a Dewalt circular saw get the 6 1/2 or the flexvolt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently built a shed with one of these. My uncle who's a professional contractor uses this exact model. Brought it to help me out. Instantly after a couple days of constantly putting this saw through its paces I knew I needed one. I literally bought one 2 days after finishing the shed and so far haven't regretted it 1 bit. Still an incredible tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a few times and it truned out great. I feel it a lot safer due to brake feature than the old Rockwell circular saw. The rockwell I think it is dated about 1965 to 70's. I used that to cut the bottom of the door and cut both side of the bathroom door. Both door are solid wood. Thank you for the great product and look forward to use it often.
I got this to replace couple corded and cordless skill saws hoping I can get the precision and power I need to chew through 2x4s and 3/4 plywood. For that one purpose it's really good, very strong and works as expected. I love the brake.
Couple issues that broke my heart:
1 ) The lower blade guard handle was chewed deep in the packaging and likely bent in transition. Dewalt I appreciate that this packaging has only paper, but there must be a better way to pack this.
2) I'm not sure who in the factory tightens the blade screw - but I was tightened hard! No way to make it loose (counterclockwise) with the included tool.
3) Then I was ready to cut - and where do I connect the vacuum? Ok, where is the dust port? Oh - there is none included. Amazing. I'm probably not the target group for this tool.... Where do I download the STL file so I can 3d print it?
I looove most Dewalt tools, but this one has definitely changed my expectations...
