Scie à chaîne, 20V MAX, 12"

Great saw for only 2 years of very light use then saw died. Motor does not work. Says 3 year warrenty but brought to warrenty center and was told not to bother that it would be denied a claim. I see lots of similar problems under this site. Very disappointed in dewalt!!

I JUST BOUGHT THIS CHAINSAW AND CALLED DEWALT FOR HELP WITH MY BATTERY CHARGER AND GOT NOWHERE. I AM NOW ONLINE AND STILL CANNOT FIND WHAT I WANT. HELP........... THE MANUAL SAYS THAT THE CHARGER LIGHTS, 'GREEN' BUT MINE LIGHTS, 'A FLASHING RED.' WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a small chainsaw to take down limbs, and a few smaller (6" diameter) trees on my property. I went with DeWALT's Compact 12" chainsaw due to the mobility of a cordless saw, and also because I already have multiple DeWALT cordless products, so I have plenty of batteries! The saw was able to handle any and all trees/limbs that I needed to take care of. I have also loaned it to my brother when his gas powered chainsaw quit on him. He was using it for oak limbs that had fallen in his woods and property line after a storm. I thought for sure that when I got it back I would need to replace the chain, but it has been going strong for several months afterwards, even taking on the old 4" x 4" fence posts that I had to cut up after the storm took out my privacy fence! I am a 6' tall, 300lb guy, so using this saw one-handed is not a problem, but even if you are a smaller individual, the saw is very easily handled! I would recommend this product to anyone that needs a small chainsaw for light to medium duty projects.

An awesome saw, but, you have to drain the bar oil out and still put it in a bucket to catch the oil that you didn't get all out because it will leak all over , come on Dewalt , you're better than this . I gave it 4 stars because it is an awesome little saw!

I am a 67 year old woman with health issues but love outdoor projects. This chainsaw has opened up a whole new world for me! It's amazingly easy to use, super reliable, great safety features and it's tough. Women aren't limited to pruners or loppers any more!

Dewalt replaced it and the replacement works great. 5 stars if it didn’t leak bar oil all over though. Would be nice to have a case that is made for it. The saw is fairly light weight.

This little saw was everything i was looking for in terms of cutting ability and portability. I keep it secured in the back of atv. Has bailed me out of a couple log jams... BUT IT LEAKS OIL like nothing I have ever experienced from any other saws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago so that I could cut down two large bra chests that broke off my olive tree due to the strong winds and so far it's been very useful. Even though its battery powered it has more than enough power to do the job.

I've used this model several times now on storm downed limb spars both oak and ash. What a pleasure to operate something this small on many limbs that seem too large a diameter for twelve inches. And I'm already burning some of the "logs".

Saw just stopped working right in middle of a cut. Have tried 6 other batteries. It acts like it is getting no power. It also leaked bar oil all over wherever you leave it sitting. Very disappointing quality. Been a DeWalt guy for years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this saw a couple weeks and so far has been great for trimming up tree tops when cutting fire wood . My wife likes to help but cannot start a gas saw so this fits the bill. Also plan on using to trim limbs around deer stands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this chainsaw 3 years, the anti-kick out has always been a problem. The saw will kick out way to much when there is no reason. When it works, it's a good tool. Now it won't start at all. Why have a kick out device at all.

This thing ripped through 50 year old massive tough overgrown hedge without any trouble. I'm very impressed with the battery and the power it delivers. I can see it handling nearly any task on a typical to larger residential property.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was committed to the 20v battery so this was a logical choice, With a 5ah battery I felled a 40 ft 10inch wide oake tree, limbed it and cut it into 4 foot sections. Really like the power and convienience. Keep your chain sharp !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw a couple months ago for smaller jobs around my property. I have used it for de-limbing, cutting smaller trees, and have cut 4x4 posts with it. It has taken everything I throw at it with ease. Highly recommend!

I previously owned gas and electric chain saws. Since I am a 20 volt Dewalt fan I bought this after a huge storm. It worked great and in only a few hours I was able to clean up all the branches(some 8inches thick) and brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the chainsaw about 4 months ago to do some major trimming on the trees threw out my yard. Very impressed in the power and the battery last a long time. I will be buying another when this chainsaws time is up.

Saw does a great job cutting small trees and trimming branches. Unfortunately, it leaked all the bar/chain oil out onto my shop floor overnight. We like the capabilities of the saw, but it is unusable if it leaks.

J'ai acheté cette scie à chaîne électrique et elle fonctionne très bien. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Je fais environ 2 h de coupe par charge (5 Ah) et je m'en sers sur des arbres ayant un diamètre jusqu'à 6 po.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned this for a few years now. It has been used very lightly and it now randomly stops. Might run 2 seconds or might run for a couple minutes. Batteries are all good. I don't think I will buy another one.

Je l'utilise régulièrement en forêt pour l'entretien de mes chemins. Bien entendu ce n'est pas destiné aux bûcherons ou pour déboisé un terrain complet mais c'est excellent pour les travaux de maintient.

I got this for Christmas from my daughters and I love it! I had no problems at all taking the major limbs off of this 17-year-old willow tree and being able to also cut it up into manageable pieces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just diced up a felled cherry tree with this 12” chainsaw. I was using a 20V 6.0AH battery and it didn’t run out of juice. It was cold and this thing just kept spitting out good solid chips of wood

I bought this product for the ease of using a battery chainsaw. It began leaking oil within a week and the chain continues to jump off. The cut is poor quality. I will be returning to Dewalt.

My husband and I love these things! Light, tough, a beast! 11 dump trucks of brush and trees taken out last fall with these little beasts. Wish I were strong enough to carry one in each hand!

tired of gas, tired of pulling a cord till my arm falls off to start a saw then I'm too tired to cut wood, Saw is a great tool cuts very very good put in the the battery and your good to go.
